We had a water intake line burst under our sink that flooded our kitchen. After the water mitigation, Matt came out and worked with us through the entire rebuild process. He was communicative, responsive, and an all around great person to work with. I'm very happy we went with SERVPRO and love the way our new kitchen looks!

We experienced a bathtub overflowing and causing damage to the upstairs bathroom, two adjacent rooms, and our garage. Russ and crew did an amazing job with our clean up. I really appreciate how quickly their response was to getting the initial crew out within two hours of my call. Work was spot on and Patrick (project manager) walked me through what I could anticipate for clean up and how to contact my homeowners insurance to start the claim. I can’t express how much I appreciated the quick and reliable service during an emergency.

These guys are great! Maybe we were just lucky, but the Servpro guys who worked with us were brilliant. Thoughtful, respectful and consummately professional with attention to detail and very organized. Plus the teams necessary to manage the disaster that occurred on our property worked seamlessly to take care of all needs and necessities. Highly recommend Nelson’s team. Their work was exceptional.

I had a water loss from a pipe breaking in our bathroom. This ServPro was highly recommended therefore I called them. They were fast, friendly, responsive, and professional. Nelson the project manager was unbelievably amazing and impressive!! He walked me through every step of what to expect and what their procedures/policies were. The crew that came out over the span of the cleanup was phenomenal as well. Jared, Paul, Alec and Byron were proficient, fast, productive and professional. They were respectful of my belongings and made sure I was happy with everything before they left. I highly recommend using them for your emergency disaster service.

Keygan and Christian are great PEOPLE to work with. They have made our transcation very smooth. Both very detailed about the work that was complete. Everything they did was amazing. Job was well done. If anything I would recommend this company and team for any work that is needed to be done.

Mike St. John and his reconstruction/restoration team did an excellent job replacing our hardwood floors after we had an under-sink leak. They were prompt and professional (even after wrangling with our insurance company) and the new floors look beautiful!

Christian and the Servpro team were very professional and flexible to work with. They helped with home basement repairs due to a water main leak and did excellent work. We needed to schedule the repairs in 2 phases in order to remove and replace a built-in bookcase and they were very accommodating with scheduling and checked-in regularly. I hope you don’t experience issues with water damage but if you do, I would highly recommend the Durham Servpro team.

We had a great experience working with ServPro after our laundry room flooded. There clear communication, all of the work took place on schedule and was performed at a high level of quality, and Christian was an excellent project manager. He was exceedingly responsive, knowledgeable and ensured that everything was well coordinated with both the subcontractors as well as our homeowners insurance company. Manuel and his crew were also courteous and did excellent work. I would recommend ServPro without hesitation.

The Serve Pro team was amazing, efficient and fast. They came out the same day I called and promptly started the fans. Reconstruction was high quality and they cleaned up after. I would use them again!

My experience with ServPro was a mixture of good and bad. It started great, with timely and polite service. After signing an agreement on remediation and repairs from a water leak, it seemed to be going smoothly. Then the repairs started.
There was primarily only one person at my home doing the work, and that person spoke no English, so needless to say it was impossible to communicate. I had to route messages to the project manager who then had to contact the supervisor who then had to relay to the staff.

After day 1, the drywall was replaced and painting began. The paint job was awful. The edge of the wall and crown moulding were crooked and wavy. There were large paint drips on window moulding and baseboards.There were paint lines on the hardwood floors. And there were parts of the wall that were missed.

The ceiling in one room was painted the wrong color. The other ceiling was not painted at all. Shower curtain rods were not removed, simply painted around. I had to point all of this out to the project manager so they could communicate with the crew. After two days of a :two day job" they sent the same person back on a Saturday, who painted one ceiling the proper color before showing me a text (because he spoke no English) saying he was not on payroll for the day and was leaving.

Even after all of this, they did not clean up the drywall dust and the upstairs ceiling was still not painted. I had to spend an hour of my time scraping paint off the hardwoods, removing dust from floorboard crevices, and wiping the floors down.

I had to wait until Monday to contact my project manager to arrange someone to come out and finish the work (going on day 4 of a two day job). They sent someone else out to finish the paint job, and correct the previous painter's work. While they did much better work this time, they still argued with me about "speckled" paint on the walls, arguing they only get paid for one coat. A few touch-ups would've taken 10 minutes, but instead they just left the painter's tape on the spots marked by the project manager and told them they wouldn't do that (I wound up doing it myself). So instead of taking ten minutes to do touch up (even after the work quality to that point) they wanted to play hardball. I was tired of dealing with them and did not point out that they charged for removing and reinstalling the wall mirrors, neither of which was actually done. I guess they couldn't be bothered to spend ten minutes touching up spots on the walls they painted.

So in all, they painted, mostly poorly, and nickel-and-dimed what they were responsible for even after not doing things they charged me for.
I had to touch up the paint, clean up drywall dust, wipe down floors, and remove paint from hardwood floors.

Christian and Manuel and their team were amazing. They provided excellent service, communication and completed the project quickly! Thanks again for your help!

pro South Durham to come to clayton as I knew how professional they are..I contracted my Mitiation and Restoration work from them...My Project Manager was Mike St John and he had a very skilled group of men ( blue crab construction). I ended up with a problem getting replacement flooring to match my remaining pattern .it's a new house since Oct..2023
Mike assured me he would find out what the problem was and how to remedy it..He called me every with his progress update.His efforts identified a high level person with the flooring company and he worked it out and now I have my beautiful
Little home back.the restoration was done in a way that was diligent ...professional an d to the standards I expected 5 stars for all a d my gratitude

Extremely good communication with excellent work. Reconstruction Project Manager Mike StJohn at ServePro South Durham did a wonderful job. He kept me informed every step of the way, answered all questions, ordered flooring in a timely manner, made sure Manuel addressed all the punch list (Manuel was great as well) and got the job done efficiently. After a broken pipe flooded most of my downstairs they restored the floors and the walls back to like new condition. I’ll be using them again for other projects. I highly recommend them.

Mike and Manuel did an amazing job.they were very clear on everything and stayed on top of everything. My house looks absolutely amazing.

Some of the worst quality work I have ever seen. Two years after a water event in my kitchen, the flooring they installed continues to push up antvthe joints annd separate. At one point, they actually tried to level the floor with cardboard pieces from the flooring boxes. Insanity. They manage their contractors poorly, they don’t respond to customers, and don’t deliver quality. Don’t waste your time.

What can I say about this Team (Trea Turney, Devin Underwood, Rafael Domagala and Luis Bentacourt..I'm sure I am leaving someone out.) This team was truly awesome. The took into account all my concerns, informed me of the process step by step and came daily to ensure everything dried accordingly. These gentlemen were so professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Great team of workers. Thank you for everything you do. Great experience.

Out of all the people and companies that I’ve had to deal with over the past few months since a water backup issue caused major water damage to my house, the ServPro mitigation and reconstruction teams were by far the best. They were very responsive, on time, and were very detailed in their explanations of their process. They give out their work cell phone numbers so that you can reach them easily with any questions you have, and I always received a text when a worker was on their way/had arrived at my house. While I hope I personally don’t have to use them again, I will recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their house.
