Had a great experience with Lyon Heating & Air. The owner James got back in touch with me for a second opinion after being told my system needed to be replaced by another company. He came out quickly and thoroughly checked the system and recommended a few simple maintenance items that would keep the system running well for at least another few years, which I really appreciated. We scheduled the preventative maintenance to take care of those items which was extremely reasonable. James has stayed in contact with me by call and text, and I now feel like I have an HVAC person, in addition to a company, that’s in my corner and looking out for what’s best for my family and system. I also appreciate that the owner James is a total HVAC geek and gets his hands dirty with his team. Would highly recommend

We are very happy with A&E Heating and AC, we have new duct work, air and heating systems installed in June 2019, and this past Fall we had some issues and they installed Reme.Hallo and once the air purifier adjusted itself we have had no other issues. I read about this online, sometimes it has a odor of peroxide, some folks maybe have a reaction as my allergies it took awhile to adjust, now all is very good. Update 3: Tim did an awesome job coming out same day and getting me a temporary fix. I'm warm and toasty. And the main issue will get resolved soon.

Update 2: Looks like most of their customers have the same problem at this time. They are very backlogged and unable to get to all emergency calls.

Update: My brand new furnace just went out on the coldest night of the year at 9 degrees. I woke up to a frigid house at 2:30am- ish and called their emergency number. I have left 4 voicemails. It is now 8:35am and no one has contacted me.

My hubby and I first used this company in 2013 and never had an issue after them installing a new heat pump at our first house. We ended up moving to another house in 2019. We had to replace the HVAC this year in the current house so we went back to A & E for service. The system works so far with a couple of hiccups at the very beginning (code was incorrect on a couple of things and a minor part had gone bad), but A & E addressed those issues quickly at no extra cost. The AC has held up against these high temperatures. My hubby and I are satisfied.

I have been a customer of A&E Heating and Air for both my primary residence and rental properties owned by Thavam Properties. They are amazing with friendly and courteous customer service, on-time service and stand by their work. The owner is a US Veteran, another reason to support this wonderful company.

Just had our new unit installed. The salesperson was professional, explained the options we had available to us, and recommended an appropriate unit that wasn't too expensive, but also not the bottom of the line. Everything is working great so far, and I will not hesitate to use them for our future needs.

A & E replaced our old A/C system last summer. We are very pleased with the new system and A & E's service. I especially appreciated their reviewing the options with us which took time and patience!

A&E Heating and Air Conditioning did a great job! The motor on our 36 year old system died and, rather than insisting I replace the whole thing (something I could not afford at the moment), they were able to find a replacement motor and repair the system promptly. Garrett was kind, courteous, professional, and always on time. I will definitely be calling A&E back when I am able to upgrade my whole HVAC unit.

I had a minor emergency, called A&E and they sent out a tech the same day. My AC unit fan motor was burned out and fortunately still under warranty so I only had to pay labor. At the same time the tech did the summer maintenance. Technician was very punctual, polite, professional. I received a full report of his findings outside, and under my house. He answered questions and provided additional information. I would highly recommend them.

As a homeowner going through their first major-system breakdown, with our HVAC system dropping a grumper on us, A & E H & C turned out to be a great option. The reviews alone should be enough to sell them but let me reiterate - prices are competitive, service and installation were quick and painless, and the staff were courteous and professional. May I never need their services again... yet, if I must, I will certainly choose A & E.

Excellent service. I called on a Friday morning to make an appointment, the lady I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and worked with me to find a window that suited my work schedule. Keven, the technician arrived and was very polite and patient despite the stupid questions I was asking and the fact that I had no idea about anything regarding my heater, its a new house and I didn't even know where it was! I highly recommend A&E and they will now be my go to people for all HVAC needs.

I recently had some AC issues with my unit and called Ron with A & E. They had a technician out the same day who found my problem within 5 minutes of being here.
Very knowledgeable Tech. He was Friendly and professional and got the job done.

I contacted these guys for a second opinion on my gas pack unit because I was told I need a new gas pack unit from the first company that came out. It was very weird that after the first company left that my Heating system was no longer working and I was told I needed a new unit, so when A&E Technician Garret came out he noticed right away that the previous company had turned my gas off. Garrett was able to access the situation and get me back up and running and serviced the unit. I will be definitely using A&E for my future services. Garrett was very professional, on time, and very knowledgeable bout what was going on. Thats one great employee you guys have.

Andrew and Garrett just completed a regular maintenance review on my two heat pump units. They were very nice, friendly, and thorough. I really appreciate the high quality of the personnel working for A&E.

On October 23, 2019 my HVAC unit had its preventative maintenance to get it ready for winter. A&E installed this unit after a hellish experience with a different company. A&E were great to work with then, about 6 years ago, and they still are! The people answering the phones and setting up appointments are really nice and polite (not always true at other places), and they do call to remind me to make my maintenance appointments. Things fall through the cracks in my life and I appreciate the effort. The tech, Brandon McFarland, who did the maintenance was a really great guy. I like to watch the people who work on my house, I like to learn what may be a future concern. Even though this was a maintenance appointment, there was an error message that appeared on my thermostat a few times. I showed him the read out, he explained it and said that it was a small fix that could be done while doing maintenance. I went out to the unit with him and he showed me what it was, where it was and how to fix it. While out there, I took a photo of the fuses, so I would have a record in case I need to buy replacements. He went above and beyond, giving me a pair of fuses to have just in case. Sure, they’re only a couple of bucks, but he didn’t have to do that. It gave me a small piece of reassurance that if I need new ones, I don’t have to worry about going out and finding the right kind. Additionally, he was very polite and knowledgeable. Sometimes when you have people working on your house, you worry about not just if they’ll do a good job but if (particularly as a woman) your safety may be at risk. I’ve never had to worry about this with A&E. A big thanks to Brandon and A&E for their work and conduct!

I had an emergency with my furnace system mid-winter. A & E was the only option available for the same day call. They came, diagnosed the issue and bypassed the zone control board that went bad. I was pretty happy with it and the emergency call price, until I got the quote to replace the zone control board. I found the board online for 130. They changed me 491 to replace the board. I did it myself in less than 30 min. Sadly I won't be using their services again nor recommending it. I really liked their technician and the phone support, but the service price is just way over.

Easy scheduling. Service technician arrived on time, was courteous and thorough. Didn't pressure me to purchase anything unnecessary. Good company to do business with - they do it all - heating, air conditioning, venting, duct cleaning.

They took care of my problem and installed a new heat pump in a very timely fashion. Technician friendly and professional. Punctual and great advice. I am very happy with my new installation and is very functional. I plan on continuing to use them and use their maintenance program.

The people were pleasant to deal with but I was without heat from November 2022 till April 2023, with numerous attempts to address the issue up to and including replacing the entire furnace. After the furnace was replaced in it's entirity and I had paid for parts prior to that and service calls, a loose connection was found. I don't know if that was the original issue but dozens of hours, many service calls and thousands of dollars, I now have heat but little confidence. After all that the inspector had to come out three times and requested re-work to address the requirements of the county. Again, the people are so nice I hate to say this but my experience did not instill trust.

I needed my upstairs AC/Heat Pump replaced. I already had a quote for a replacement, but called A&E as a check on my original quote. After Tim had been through the existing system with me and shown me a number of fairly simple efficiency improvements and a less expensive installation of one aspect of the new unit, I was impressed. He then gave me three options for a replacement unit and carefully explained the differences. The quote from A&E was competitive, but the attention to detail, knowledge of the craft and the quality of the quoted equipment was all better. When I agreed to have A&E perform the installation, they were ready to be here the next day. They even finished the job in one (long) day instead of the expected two-day project. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Matt, Keith and everyone at A&E Heating and Air did a great job installing my new gas-heating and air conditioning systems: professional; courteous; top-notch folks with GREAT follow-up. I've also been using them for years to maintain my systems and they've never disappointed. I highly recommend them.

A&E was great, going above and beyond with good advice on my options, fixing my crawl space door hinges during the installation of my new unit, and following up to make sure everything was working great. It is nice to work with professionals who are knowledgeable and show up when they say they will and do a great job. So overall great service!
