I called another local plumber on a Thursday to fix an issue with my plumbing where I had very low water pressure. That plumber came out, spent 4 hours diagnosing the problem and ended up thinking it was an issue with my pressure tank. They quoted me $500 to get it replaced and said the earliest they could fix it was the following Monday or Tuesday. I called Mike at Pure-Line Plumbing and he assured me he would get someone out to us the next day (Friday). As promised, Dwayne from Pure-Line came on time, diagnosed the issue within 20 minutes, gave me some pointers about my system, how to isolate failures in key points of the system, and saved me hundreds of dollars on the fix. Glad I found a real plumbing company. Pure-Line Plumbing earned a loyal customer.

Pure-line sent Rob out quickly to investigate some rattling pipes. Within 10 minutes, he had identified the problem (a bad overflow tank due to high pressure) and checked on warranty for me. Under warranty, he got it swapped out fast, checked all the connections and confirmed the bath faucets were new with no leaks. He was knowledgeable, professional, and great to work with. We even talked future improvements. If I have any future issues, I'll call Pure-Line again, for sure.

I have used PureLine Plumbing for my last four jobs and their Service Pros are excellent. Most recently, Dwayne S. came on an emergency call to repair a leaking pipe in the crawl space which was potentially effecting my foundation. He explained their approach to the repair and made sure the job was done properly. He was very personable and professional and helped solve another issue while he was at my house. I was very fortunate to have him assigned to my job.

Pure-Line Plumbing was great with both their services and fair pricing. I had Dwayne install a stainless-steel residential hot water tank that has a lifetime tank warranty. He first came to the house and did a through assessment of my house's current plumbing situation and we discussed various options for the hot water tank replacement as well as a new pressure relief value and shut off valve. He was especially mindful of the high quality brass pipes that are in my house and the need to use brass to complete this new job. The Pure-Line office prepared and sent to me a detailed quote and gave me a generous discount for having registered on their website to receive a new customer discount. Dwayne and his co-worker spent a full day removing the old tank, installing the new tank and the pressure relief value and shut off valve. They did an excellent job. Very high quality work! I have nothing but praises for my experience. I was given a window of 8:00am to 11:00am. Edwin and (I forgot his associate's name) showed on time. They were friendly, professional, warm and patient with me. They worked efficiently and were respectful of my home. This is completely contrary to the service I received from a competitor. The competitor wanted to charge me $525.00 and attempted to upsell me on a service I did not need. My realtor referred me to Pure-Line. Pure-Line's cost was only $236.00. I so appreciated the quality of work and the ease on my pocket.

I'm very glad I used Pure-Line when my garbage disposal started leaking. Jackie is always so kind and helpful on the phone. She called me as soon as she knew the tech was running behind (which happens in this business). I really appreciated the call so I could plan the day better. Edwin was my tech and he replaced the disposal quickly. He took the time to explain a few things with the new disposal and it's working beautifully. Their prices were more reasonable than some other plumbers. I'll definitely use them again.

I recently had the pleasure of partnering with Pure-Line Plumbing to help with renovations to my 1940's home that needed various plumbing updates. I say "partner" because that is the experience of working with the team at Pure-Line Plumbing. Pure-Line has enough staff to meet commitments if needed but they try to keep the one service professional in charge of your job doing the work. I worked with Dwayne S. throughout my project which took place over several months with numerous visits to help me at the different stages. They were able to meet my scheduling needs. Dwayne worked with me in securing special shower hardware to meet my specifications. He was very helpful in making recommendations, giving explanations, responding to communications via his cell phone, going the extra mile to make my life easier and was cheerful on top of all that.

Dwayne had the help of a second service pro during site visits and both men that I met, Chris and Rob were excellent. While I was out of town, a line burst at my vacant home which was still under renovation and Dwayne came as soon as contacted to make the repair. Office staff Ashley and Jackie were easy to work with, always remembering who I was, and rounded out the excellent experience that I had with Pure-Line Plumbing.

We recently transformed the front section of our flex office space into a salon, which required breaking through the concrete floor to install proper piping. Choosing Pure Line Plumbing was the best decision we made for this project.

I’ve been in Durham for a few years now. It’s quieter than New York—less honking, fewer bagels, and a lot more space to feel alone. So when my shower started leaking like it missed the city too, I called PureLine Plumbing. I didn’t expect much. Just wanted the drip to stop.
Then Rob Mirabella showed up.
Turns out Rob’s a fellow New Yorker, now living down here too. They call him “Mr. PureLine,” and I’ll be honest—he lives up to the name. He walked in with a calm confidence, a toolbox that looked like it had seen every borough, and a beard so well-kept it could’ve had its own zip code. Not flashy, just... dignified. Like a guy who knows how to fix things and still finds time to trim evenly.
He got to work right away. No small talk unless I started it, which I appreciated. But when I did, he listened. We talked about the move down south, how Durham’s got charm but misses the grit, and how plumbing’s pretty much the same no matter where you are—pipes don’t care about accents.
Rob fixed the leak fast. Clean, efficient, respectful. Even tightened a few things I hadn’t noticed. But more than that, he brought a little piece of home into my day. For a moment, it felt like I wasn’t just another guy in a quiet house—I was a New Yorker again, talking shop with someone who gets it.
