Chris came in and was able to determine no major repair was needed. He answered all my questions and was kind enough to give me tips on maintenance and how to diy some of easy leaks. He was prompt. I think the price was fair considering he gave me some advice moving forward on how to fix the problem on my own in the future.

Bryan was out technician and he was very good...the 1st time around. this is a long review but please read it. it gives you real insight into my opinion of why i would avoid this company and call someone else. the first visit out was really weird as this Bryan service guy shows up pretty well on time but gives me a quote to snake the main line from the house out to the street. one quote was 250.00 for a basic snake but the 2nd quote was for something called "hydro jetting" i believe and it was over 500.00. i pulled up on google and showed bryan that their google ad showed a 99.00 charge and even roto rooter(who i know are horrible) advertises a 83.00 fee for the same work but i wanted to go with someone different than the horrible roto rooter. so this guy pulls a small amount of debree out of the main line but it wasn't enough to matter to how bad the overall plumbing symptoms of our house were going at the time so i went with it and paid him the new 99.00 quote he "called his boss up" in order to get approved on a promo. when Bryan left last friday he said "oh and by the way we give you a 30 day guarantee on the work so if this doesn't fix your problem we'll come back out at no charge and fix it for you one way or the other". so a week later the symptoms showed up again and i called and said i'd like to use the 30 day warranty bryan told me about. they said ok we can send someone out tomorrow. i was like "cool". so they show up and bryan said he brought with him this time a more "aggressive" snake that should do to the job. (sidenote" the 1st time that they showed up I signed off on the 99.00 quote and then bryan said i need to drive back to my office to get the snake and will be back in 30. mind you a one way trip to their office from our house in north raleigh is 30 minutes easily. so he should have said it will be an hour before I'm back). i'm thinking who drives around as a plumber in a van without a basic snake which has a footprint about the side of a car tire. they really are very small but somehow he can't fit it into his van on the initial trip to do the quote but he was smart enough to bring it exactly 7 days later. so there's that. anyway after he snaked the drain for a 2nd time and thought it was fixed i took bryan upstair to show him that when you flush 2 of our upstairs toilets you can hear gurgling sounds coming from the sink. he eventually said that he would recommend pulling one of the toilets from the floor and running a snake down from upstair down to the lower level to see if there was a blockage. he said he would need to get me a quote and i said what about the 30 day guarantee and he said well that only pertained to the main line clean out, but if a different solution was determined that it wasn't covered under their 30 day guarantee. so i said ok, how much for that. he said 600.00. i told him to get out of my house. i then called and asked for a manager. she basically said it is what it is and the 30 day warranty is a little "tricky". i then asked to have the owner call me and she said she would request that. they never called and in my opinion when i said a 1 star review would be way more important than upholding your word on a a 30 day warranty they still didnt seem to care. i mean what a dumb move on them to sacrifice future customers based on this review that i told them i would go into great detail to alert others on the real wishy washy strange experience i had with them. they have 2 locations. i suspect that will be reduced to 1 location and then zero locations based on the way they do business. end of story. hope this helps some others avoid a really poorly run and poorly attitude company toward its potential customers. i wish them the worst. i'm a capitalist, but this company is why capitalism gets a bad wrap.

My workmen were fantastic. They arrived on time and stayed very late to finish up. They were pleasant and extremely hard workers. They all deserve big raises! You are lucky to have them

Fabian was great! He was personable, professional and knowledgeable. He took care of my immediate plumbing job. He gave me options to consider; to avoid problems in the future.

Plumb V had a next morning appointment with our water well emergency. They worked hard and were very open with communication and pricing as they replaced our water pump. They were friendly and professional, I highly recommend their work.

Great plumbing visit. Clear communication from office and plumber, shared tracking when he was on the way, which allowed me to get my large dog settled before arrival. Very clear estimate provided for job, and then efficient job done with excellent cleanup. I would recommend PlumbV to anyone, and will be contacting them for future needs.

Had a second/different plumbing need. Second visit even better than the first. Great communication, impressive persistence to figure out a more complicated issue in a different bathroom. PlumbV is impressive!

Fabian and Wesley saved us today when they came to look at our water heater that had just started leaking. They were able to diagnose the problem quickly and replace the water heater in the same day. Fabian was very helpful in explaining both the problem and the workings of the new water heater. They did great work!

The technician came on time and was as nice as could be, but the estimate for a simple kitchen faucet replacement was just over $700. I had already purchased the faucet so there was no cost to them for that.
I expected something more like $400.
I'm incredulous that a straightforward install taking an hour or less would cost so much. I was charged $70 for the dispatch (ok, that's fair) and sent him on his way with my apologies.
Lesson learned: ask over the phone for a typical charge for a specific job.
I was sorry especially since PlumV gets excellent reviews for work they perform.

I was very please with the service provided. Fabian educated me very well about what was going on with my plumbing issue and the process of diagnosing it and the various options and possible obstacles with fixing it. He was very clear on all the possible costs involved. He was on time and fixed it in a short period of time. He also warned me about problems that could happen in the future and what would be needed to resolve them. He was very professional and very friendly, I highly recommend him.

I had an emergency plumbing leak from an upstairs toilet through the family room ceiling at night on a Saturday night. I called at midnight and got an answer! The technician arrived before noon the next day (didn't get the first dispatch or would have been sooner) and took care of the problem promptly, efficiently, and politely. Counseled us on next steps for restoration of the ceiling and contact the restoration company directly. Very pleased with the service!

Chris is awesome! He is both knowledgeable and personable. After looking at the connector valve, he explained the problem and gave us a couple of different options for repair. Chris resolved the problem and the job done in a very reasonable time frame.

Fabian was a pleasure to work with. He came out promptly, diagnosed the problem and was able to get a new water heater installed quickly. He explained how to manage the water heater clearly and concisely. I’m so grateful for his help.

I made an emergency call on a Saturday after calling two other plumbers who either didn’t answer or said they could give me an appointment three days away!! Well, I had water pouring out of my laundry room ceiling and cabinets so three days was obviously not going to work since I had to shut off all the water to the house. I have used PlumbV in the past so gave them a call.

Inspector Nolen did an inspection of our plumbing. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and an experienced gentleman who was easy to work with, communicating my options clearly. I appreciated not getting the heavy upsell so typical these days. It was a good experience.

I must say that once all the details were confirmed, the process to get my water heater replaced was prompt, efficient and completed by an experienced technician. The tech was knowledgeable and willing to explain the entire process. Upon completion he showed me what he had done and what I could expect moving forward. A bonus was them coming back in one year to do a complimentary flush of the tank!

In an emergency, PlumbV sent Jay to my rescue. He kept me informed as he serviced other customers & got to my house within a couple hours. I paid a weekend premium, but it was worth it. I would recommend PlumbV for prompt, friendly service.

Absolutely highly recommend. I had a stove that Home Depot would not install because of a purported issue with the gas line. It would’ve been very easy for PlumbV To charge me to $400 to replace what it is a perfectly good part with a new one… But they did not. They educated me on what was going on and have earned my future business.
