Very knowledgeable plumbing technician. I'd had a leaky shower for a while that I originally hired a handyman for-- who just gave me the run around for weeks. This company's technician was very careful and thorough while assessing the issue with my shower. When the he had determined the issue and was ready to make the repair, it took him all of 10 minutes to swap a cartridge in the shower valve-- which was what needed a repair. I can't believe I waited weeks on some handyman when this company was able to send someone next day (or same day-- I had a scheduling conflict when I reached out initially). The technician also took time to clean some of the grime away from around my shower's faucet and polished the chrome. I am very impressed and will absolutely call this company for all my plumbing needs from now on. Thank you so much, Kai Han!

Emanuel and Samir showed up on time and quickly got to work diagnosing the source of the leak in upstairs bathroom that caused water dripping from the ceiling of downstairs bedroom. They gave an estimate for diagnostic work which I felt was kinda high but I wanted the problem fixed. They found the problem and then came another estimate even higher to fix the problem. At that point I didn't really have a choice but to accept because there was already a hole in the ceiling that they had to cut to find the source. Overall, the service was great but a bit pricey. Plus we still need the ceiling patched up. Of course the pricing is likely determined by the company and not the technician s. The technicians were excellent, polite and professional. I also liked getting a small discount by donating three cans of food. Especially now we need more companies doing similar things to alleviate the shameful situation of 47 million people in the richest country in the world not getting adequate nutrition. I wish our government prioritieses this over funding weapons production and unnecessary wars.

Shane A. has helped me on multiple occasions with shower and toilet repairs, and every time he's been fantastic. He's approachable, professional, and clearly knows his stuff. He offers great service and makes the whole process stress-free. If I need any plumbing repairs in the future, I'll be asking for him directly. Would happily recommend him to anyone.

Tony came in the middle of the night to repair a leak in our wall. He was professional, competent, and courteous. He worked quickly and answered all of our questions patiently. I recommend him highly and without any reservations.

We had a very unfortunate water supply line break in our primary bathroom.
What could've been easily one of the worst days we've had in a long time was made a lot better because of the quick response time and excellent customer service from the Roto-Rooter folks.

Tony T. came by to help us with our water heater and really saved us from a headache. He went above and beyond to help me and my family when we were worried about discoloration four our kids. Tony walked me through step by step how to care for my appliances and gave us a quote for me to seriously consider. It’s great that RR has people like Tony working for them. This was my 1st time contacting Roto-Rooter and I am very pleased! Tony was the service inspector that came out and in less than an hour from my call! I saw him to be very polite, very professional, wore footies, throughly checked the washer line, both bathrooms and the outdoor piping and found no clog and recommended I have someone clean my dryer vent. If I need a plumber in the future, I will definitely contact this company and ask for Tony!

Nothing like having your hot water tank die right before the biggest snow / ice storm is supposed to hit. Tony came out same day and gave us an extremely reasonable quote, then scheduled installation for the next day. He appeared efficient getting everything in place and was exceptionally courteous and helpful. I'm thankful we called Roto-Rooter and Tony is an asset to their service. Highly recommended, will call again when needed!

Showed up on short notice to replace a prv that was leaking when I couldn’t find a part to replace it myself on the same day. Nice and were quick to get the work done, wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

I was very pleased with the overall process, Michael gave me an estimated time when someone would arrive, they called 30 minutes ahead time to let me know they were on their way. Kevin was extremely professional, he told me what he thought the problem was, looked into it thoroughly, confirmed his analysis and told me how to prevent future occurrences. Very friendly and extremely helpful. I know who to call on, the next time there is a plumbing issue.

Michael did a great job identifying the source of a water leak from our bathtub into our kitchen and fixing the problem. He also solved a shower drain issue that had puzzled another plumber. Best of all, he was extremely pleasant to work with - very communicative and an all around nice guy. We hope we won't need to call him again, but he'll be our first call for any plumbing issues in the future.

Mike is amazing. Our shower would not turn off and we were struggling to fix it all day. Mike showed up as soon as we contacted him and fixed the problem with ease, within five minutes. He was kind, courteous, professional, and extremely skilled. We are so thrilled with his work, and thoroughly encourage everyone to use his services. Last year I had some plumbing work done and after a few months, I realized that the work that had been done was poor quality, and it didn't fix the problem. A week or so ago, I decided to try and find a new plumber. I asked everyone in our neighborhood who they used, and they all said to call Mike at Durham Plumbing Services - everyone I spoke to said great things about his service and his prices. I called Mike last week on a Wednesday and he said that he could come out any time. He came out on a Saturday to diagnose my problem, gave me an estimate, and as of yesterday, the work was done and everything looks and works great.

Mike is professional, timely, and he answered all of my questions. He also guarantees his work, which is something that made me feel great about using his services. He let me know that if something stopped working, or in my case, if the pipes continued to rattle and squeak, he said he'd come back and fix it at no extra charge.

I'm very pleased with his work, and I'll absolutely use his services again in the future.

Durham Plumbing Service did a great job! Suspected I had a leak and was able to get an appointment for the next day. Good news is there was no active leak but since he was already here, Michael replaced my garden tub faucet cartridge and installed a new bathroom faucet in less than an hour. Good price, great company, would call them again.

Excellent service! Our garbage disposal hadn't been working well for several months and led to a leak under the sink. Andrew quickly identified and fixed the issue for a very fair price. No more leak and the garbage disposal works like new! They'll definitely be our first call if we need any plumbing work done in the future.

I own a house in Durham, and the water heater went out unexpectedly (we never expect it to go out, do we?). Durham Plumbing Services made a next day appointment even though I called at 4:30 in the afternoon, arrived at the appointed time, did all the work quickly and were very friendly.

And their price was even less than I was expecting for all the work they had to do to fix my water heater.

I have had other plumbers try to scam me in the past but Durham Plumbing was straight up and to the point: you need Y and Z done to fix the issue, and it will cost you $X. They didn't try to sell me more than I needed, and they didn't try to tell me that I needed everything replaced. I had even called two other plumbers before calling Durham Plumbing: one said he was too busy, and the other didn't even call me back. Don't waste your time ... if you have a plumbing issue, call Durham Plumbing services and they will do what you need for a reasonable price.

Durham Plumbing Services is awesome. During the recent deep freeze in Durham the pipes froze and the water pump motor burned out. Michael went out of his way to find a new motor and as promised, showed up in the evening and worked until after 10pm. Then he was off to another job that very night. Exceptional service, reasonable prices, and a really nice person.

I waited a while to write this review to ensure that the toilets Michael and his assistant installed were functional. Needless to say, Michael went above and beyond for me. He has a brilliant mind and it is evident that he is very passionate about his work and customer satisfaction. I needed two toilets installed and a faucet. He showed me two quality toilets that he would recommend I choose from. When I went with the more expensive toilet he did the job for less $$$. He would have charged me a little more if I had went with a cheaper toilet. Either way I would have been spending the same amount no matter which option I chose. I went with the more expensive toilet. Despite the fact that he would have made more if I would have chosen the cheaper toilet, he highly recommended for me to get the best quality one. I value honesty and that is what Michael gave me. He also fixed a chandelier that was hanging to low and in my way (out of courtesy to me). I almost forgot, I had gotten some AC work done and was not confident in their work until Michael took a trip to my attic and assured me at no cost that it looked like they had done a great job. I trusted his advice and it saved me from calling the AC company back to work on the problem a fourth time. I will certainly save Michaels card in my book of "handy men". Thank you Michael!
