Kai was knowledgeable and informative he explained everything very thoroughly to me in reference to how the toilet work and the parts I was grateful of his expertise! Tony was professional and kind. He worked as quickly as possible and was very thorough. Tony cleaned up everything after he was finished and was here quickly even with hazardous road conditions.

No plumbing emergency is ideal but what you want from your technician is great communication and quality work. That is 100% what I got from my experience with Shane.

Had toilet leakage around base of toilet. Called Roto-Rooter and they came out quick, they sent a field supervisor and tech out immediately. Technician that came was honest and thorough. Ended up needing septic pump cleaned out. Would definitely be using them for any future plumbing problems!

I would give this a negative rating, if possible. We had a terrible, very costly experience with Rotor Rooter. Be aware: they charge based on what they quoted, NOT ON HOW MUCH WORK IS REQUIRED. If they quote it will take 10 hrs, but ends up only taking 5, they will charge you for 10. We had an emergency service for a clogged septic that was backing up into the bathroom, they came and removed the soft clog. They discovered there were tree roots invading the pipe and it had broken. My impression from the descriptions was there would be major excavation involved to dig up the pipe, remove the tree roots, replace the broken pipe, and add a secondary clean-out access. In reality, it was two people with a shovel working for about 3 hrs and a hole 3 foot wide by 1 foot 8 inches deep (their own measurements). No large equipment, no power tools other than the saw to cut the PVC pipe. There was no tree root bigger than 3 inches in diameter. They charged us $6475! When I asked for a detailed invoice, it was written as $2000 for "access" labor, about $600 for permits, and a whopping $3900 in "excavation and repair labor". No details on hours of labor, or rate, or transportation fees. Upon complaint, their response was that this was the price I agreed to and so regardless of how much actual work was required, that is what they charged. They would deflect any time I asked if they thought the price charged was in line with the amount of work done. They would only state they charge based on quoted work, not on work actually done and that I had agreed to the work. I was told repeatedly that I just didn't understand how septics worked and what went in to their repair. I have had entire septic drain fields replaced for less. This was a 3x2 foot hole requiring 2 people and a shovel. The experience felt predatory and insulting.

Called Roto Rooter to diagnose an issue with my hot water . Technician Anir came out and quickly diagnosed my issue as well as checked a few other issues he noticed that I didn’t even ask about . Top notch service . Give Anir a raise ! Good techs are hard to come by

Excellent Work!! I had a busted water heater and Kai Installed a new one professionally and courteously. He replaced all the other bad parts that had aged..
I would highly recommend him. He’s very knowledgeable and thorough.

Came out quick on a Sunday emergency and got us sorted out. Bill was lower than we expected and our plumber was fantastic, super friendly and really explained everything to us.

The rep came and gave his honest opinion of the issue. Septic Tank was full. He was very polite and knowledgeable. We are grateful that we found a company that came to service the tank immediately.

Called Roto-Rooter around 830am and the service technician, Tony, had our clogged toilet fixed before 1030. Tony was upfront about pricing at each repair level and quickly completed the service. We will be sure to use Tony if any others issue arise.

Had the pleasure of meeting Shane this morning as he came out to continue to diagnose our issue this morning. He arrived promptly to our house out here in Chapel Hill and walked us through every step with patience and care. Felt confident that he will continue to be a great partner as we figure out the cause of our upstairs leak.

Tristian came out quickly when our dishwasher wasn’t draining, diagnosed the problem, and referred us to an appliance specialist when the problem wasn’t resolved. He was efficient, kind, and great to work with. I’d highly recommend Roto-Rooter.

Yesterday a Roto-Rooter technician came to clear a clog in my kitchen sink. I have used them for years and have always been pleased. Not sure where they got him, but I strongly suggest that they send him back. When he came the sink was running slowly; when he left Both sinks were totally clogged with 2+ inches of water in them. Water and grease all over my floor and I was ready to cry!!!!
The next morning another technician came. We’ll call him The Magician! In 10 minutes the drains were running perfectly, and he had cleaned up the mess made yesterday.
I was almost ready to give up with them but am glad I didn’t. Thanks to The Magician, water is running well!

The service technician Jason who came out was just awesome. He was very professional and determined to fix the issues I was having and he did not give up and did just that. I am very satisfied and pleased with the customer service I received. I highly recommend!

Same day replacement of my water heater. It is working perfectly.
Could have communicated more clearly about how the work was progressing. Initial visit was fine, but I was unsure the work would get done when the technician did not arrive until a few minutes before sunset.

Kanji was right on time and very easy to work with! He explained what he was doing and why and also reassured me that I had been on the right track before calling for help! Would love to have him back for any future plumbing needs I can’t handle on my own!
