Great experience with Durham Plumbing Services. We had them replace our hot water heater which was in our crawl space. They responded immediately to our phone call and replaced the hot water heater the next day. Two workers worked extremely hard in and out of the rain until the hot water heater was replaced. Their price and communication was great and so was the quality of their work. These guys are awesome. I got estimates from other plumbers through Angi and Thumbtack and it was a hassle and very slow. I contacted those entities on Sunday and still didn't have water by Wednesday. When I finally got their estimate, it included repairs that had previously been made in just the last few years and I questioned it. I called Durham Plumbing and they resolved the issue within hours and for a third of the price. I should have contacted them first and will from now on.

Follow up. After my repair, I had another issue and they addressed it immediately and at no charge and no inconvenience as I was away. I can't say they're the cheapest, but they're definitely the best!

I called them because my hot water heater stopped working. I was bracing for them to tell me to replace it because it’s over 25 years old. They determined the gas valve needed to be replaced. If you are worried about getting talked into repairs you don’t need, it’s not a concern with them. They were also very knowledgeable and gave me advice on maintaining the water heater. The owner was also patient and answered all my questions before I agreed to proceed with the repair. It’s been a couple weeks and my water heater has been working as expected.

Mike just finished up replacing my water heater. Great knowledgeable and friendly guy who showed up in a timely manner and did a great job. Called Durham Plumbing this morning because my well pump was out of prime and the bolt was rusted so could not remove it to prime it. They came quickly and fixed the problem. Mike was very courteous and I will definitely be calling them again. Thank you guys for coming so quickly!

Micheal and Mike recently repaired a leaking valve on one of the pipes on my water heater. When I first noticed the leak, I left messages with 3 plumbers, and Michael returned my call very quickly. He was on an emergency job but told me how to stop the leak by turning off the main water valve and opening up a faucet in the house to relieve the pressure. That worked like a charm and I could relax until he was able to come do the repair. When he arrived, he quickly replaced the valve and pipes involved, and Mike added brackets to support them. Both Michael and Mike were not only very efficient and knowledgeable but also extremely courteous.

I contacted Michael about a non-emergency repair and he promptly got me on the schedule for the next business day. His son Mike came to do the work and he was courteous, professional, and personable! The entire job was completed quickly and at a good price. I'll definitely contact them when another plumbing issue comes up!

Showed up on time, completed the installation in just under an hour, and then cleaned up before leaving. Wore covers on his shoes to help keep the floor clean which was good.

A shout out for John and Zack of Ben Franklin Plumbing. So great to work with them at a very trying time of a water line break to my house. They came quickly for the estimate and quickly for the repair. They were competent and explained all that they were doing and patiently answered all my questions and concerns It was plain to see they very much cared about the problem I was having. When my 45 plus year old house presented them with unique challenges, they were able to figure out the mysterious problem and remedy it.
