The company was very professional, and my technician Dean was great. Scheduling the appointment with the office was easy, and Dean called when he was on his way so I could expect his arrival. He was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He was able to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. He was very thorough going through my whole system, and in helping me to diagnosis the issue I had been having with my AC unit. I had my AC unit replaced by R & S, and I continue to be impressed with how professional everyone is, and how easily my questions are being answered. They're really helping me to understand more about HVAC systems. I will continue to recommend this company to friends and family.

Great company delivering exceptional service. I came home to find my AC had gone out late into the evening and quickly did some online research on who to call, R &S had great reviews and offered 24/7 services. Within an hour of reaching out to them I had their tech Hurley working on my unit, he stayed till 9PM and worked in the rain without complaining. He was unable to get the unit working right away due to having to order a part, although he did return and had my unit up and running before lunch time the next afternoon. Very satisfied customer, good work at a good price with great customer service.

We have been extremely pleased with our maintenance with R&S Mechanical. Our tech Hurley is great. He keeps everything running smoothly, is always timely and polite and I appreciate his input and advice. When we’ve had issues with our system, we’ve been able to get them fixed quickly and correctly. Highly recommend them!

I may have reviewed RS Mechanical previously and will happily do it again. RS Mechanical consistently exceeds my expectations. My first experience was with technician Hurley and I've requested him ever since as he is thorough, professional, and courteous. He makes sure that each job is completed to the absolute best standards and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my complete satisfaction. I'm removing a star as they've recently changed their policy and are no longer allowing to schedule with the technician that we've requested and had service our units for multiple years now.

I’m becoming increasingly disappointed with RS Mechanical. The previous maintenance has left my upstairs unit running less efficiently than before. My thermostat could be faulty, but timing is suspicious. One of the technicians forgot to turn on the power leading to the condenser units and didn’t realize until my house was almost 80 degrees. The technician tried to say the circuit tripped. I’m considering not renewing my maintenance with them and finding another company.

I realize now that the decline in service was a prelude to the eventual sale to 6&Fix.

R&S Mechanical of old days was the best in my experience and that's how I choose to remember them.

Came out for a potential buyer for my home to inspect the system. Keep in mind it is 5 years old. Claimed the coil was leaking refrigerant and fungus was in the system. Also said ductwork had to be replaced to fix the fungal growth. Fast forward 5 days and had 3 separate companies inspect. ALL found the unit was in working order, but noted the UV bulb was burnt out. No fungus in system.

Thanks to 6 and fix, it caused our buyer to backout. Would recommend second opinions.

Justin K who came to service my HVAC went above and beyond. Instead of just doing the semiannual checkup, he took me up after servicing the HVAC and explained to me some things he noticed/I should consider with my system in a way that I felt informed, versus just telling me I need to get X done with no rationale. He was even understanding of my dogs and work from home job, which made the environment a bit chaotic.

Super quick, profession and reasonably priced! During the cold snap where it stayed below freezing for several days, which is unusual here, my furnace kept turning off intermittantly and the house got pretty darn chilly. 6&Fix offered to come out that evening but I told them I was okay with a spare radiant heater so the following day was fine. My technician, Justin, showed up on time and was in and out in less then 45 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the issue as as a burnt out flame sensor, which is a pretty normal thing to wear out 6 years after my upgraded was installed. I was pleasantly surprised the total charge was much lower than I expected and my house has been warm and toasty since. Thanks Justin, great job!

We just did a routine maintenance after our trusted neighbors recommended Six & Fix. We were honestly floored by the amount of time Jay spent inspecting and educating us on what he was doing, explaining the issues, and helping us understand everything. All in a very easy to understand fashion. Especially on New Year’s Day, amazing he spent the amount of time with us that he did. Of all the HVAC companies in the area (and I’ve seen my fair share of them) I can't recommend this one enough.

We purchased a Daikin HVAC system from 6 and Fix about a year ago, and I completed a review of our experience on their website. However, I can not find the review on-line so I am completing another review concerning our experience. We purchased a top of the line Diakin continuous flow system, and our system now seems to be working properly, but the purchasing and installation of the system was far from perfect.
After discussing various systems with one of 6 and Fix's sales representatives, we finally decided which model and system we wanted. There were many options and we went over them and made our selections. When we finally got a Price Quote, it consisted of the general system description along with a price for the system and installation - none of the specifics like selecting a Daikin ONE Smart WiFi Thermostat. It took 2-3 iterations to finally get the specifics and it was a good thing that we had the detailed paperwork because as the installation was nearing completion, the installers weren't going to put the high-end thermostat as part of hat we purchased. It took a couple of phone calls to finally get things straightened out. That was the first small issue in the install.
The system was activated and cooled our house the first evening, however, we noticed a bad odor in the house and called 6 and Fix concerning it. A service tech came to the house and spent about 45 minutes inspecting the system and said that he couldn't find anything wrong. The following evening, the smell got worse and we called again, and we got the same diagnosis.
The next day the odor was even more extreme, and my wife called the gas company and they arrived within an hour, and within 15 minutes shut the gas off to our house, and RED TAGGED our new HVAC system. Late that afternoon the Service Manager came to our house and finally found the gas leak.
Thankfully, there was no explosion or residue from the experience, but my thoughts were that the company name should have been 6 and Fix and fix and fix and fix.

This is a little overdue but I needed to share my experience with this company. I had to unexpectedly replace my entire HVAC system/ furnace. My original system was only 6 years old but was poorly installed and was too large for the house and improperly equipped. Long story short, I had multiple "2nd opinions" and estimates from other HVAC companies on what would be our best option. Alex from 6 and Fix literally took all day to run proper diagnostics on our home and provided options for our heating/ cooling needs. Alex took the time (over 3-4 days) to answer all our questions any time of day and night. Yes....night time too. Texts, phone calls.....whatever it was he responded quickly and I feel honestly. When you take an estimate to a competitor and even they tell you that your getting a good deal that they can't compete with.....I felt pretty confident that I was getting a good. Installation was done in one day by Ricky and Christian and they treated our home with respect. Picked up after themselves and cleaned up after a long day of installation.
Even Angie in their office assisted us in completing all our paperwork for our rebate once we purchased the unit. She even went as far as reaching out to the county inspector and scheduled our home inspection for all the new work.
I can't say enough good stuff about this company and my experience with them so far. This all happened in Dec. 2024 but so far we have been very happy.
I would highly recommend this company!

On December 5, 2024 a 6 & Fix system flooded my attic and destroyed a ceiling in my home. Now, more than six MONTHS later, they have done nothing to fix their system to prevent another flood from happening. Additionally, they waited MONTHS before filing a claim with their insurance company, and my ceiling still has not been repaired. I have been a loyal 6 & Fix customer for more than ten years, but now I will never recommend them to anyone for anything.
