The individual who set up the appointment did not tell us that the $69.95 maintenance fee was a per unit charge. We have 2 units. I was only told that it would be $69.95 for the maintenance call. Also charged an extra $103 to clean some leaves and debris out of unit which I would have assumed was general maintenance. Anyway to summarize the person making the appointment needs to be more transparent about possible charges it may entail. Not a good look. From what I understand the original owner does not own the company anymore. He didn’t run the company in this manner when he owned it. We will probably look elsewhere in the future for HVAC maintenance

Fantastic crew. We have been using them for years. We had a bonus room added to our house and the contractor used their heating and air company. HVAC never worked properly after. Carter's came out and found the issues, fixed them and all rooms are blowing air and equal in temp. Their workers are top notch and very knowledgeable.

Great attention to details and adjustments by Matt Byrd! He quickly fixed a chronic problem heat pump cold blow issue and has been problematic for a long time.

I’ve used this company several times, both for emergency HVAC repairs the day after Christmas and for full system replacement for both the upstairs and downstairs of my home. They are very efficient, professional, friendly, and reasonable in cost! They are sales-y in the least, and are more than happy to give you multiple options to fit your budget. We cannot be more happy and satisfied by the professionalism and service we received from Carter Heating and Air. We sought three quotes from local companies to replace our AC unit and furnace.
