I've had Alan out several times to service my A/C and heating units. He is prompt provides good service and is very professional. I would definitely recommend Alan.

Our AC went out. They came out the next day to fix it. They were super responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. I will definitely have them perform any repair or maintenance needed in the future.

I called Gary on Monday, he came out on Tuesday and installed my system on Wednesday. He is the only HVAC guy that I have ever had come out and not be in a hurry and spent the time to answer my questions and help find solutions for my issues ! I highly recommend these guys !!!

Called Ideal right when they opened because heat was not working at the house. I have a little one so it was kind of urgent to get the issue fixed. Within an hour the techs were here and after I explained to them what was going on within a minute that had troubleshot it. Within 30 minutes my heat was back working. Highly recommend these guys for any HVAC needs!

Alan installed a new package unit for us to replace our very old and very dead system. This involved relocating the unit, removing old ductwork, and adding new ducts. During the initial work he discovered a major plumbing issue, called the plumber, and then hopped around with his own work to stay out of the plumber's way. To top it off, there was a dent in the original unit when he unboxed it (not his fault), and I asked him to refrain from using it. Without a moment's hesitation, he made the arrangements to pick up a different unit from the warehouse in Raleigh. He worked around circumstances that surely slowed him down but held to his estimated price which was lower than the competition for the same unit sold under a different name (think Chevy versus GMC). In looking at the care he took with the little details, I don't expect to be calling him often, but I have no doubt he will continue his professionalism during the life of the system. I would give him 6/5 stars if I could!

Called on the company for an HVAC that wouldn't heat. The owner Alan Boyd came out and said the entire system was shot and would cost ~$3,000 to fix. Got a 2nd opinion who ended up fixing it for $75. 5x weeks later Mr Boyd's wife (I didn't know at the time was his wife) calls me stating they want to send me a bill. I didn't remember who they were (now 5 weeks later) so I asked what it was for and when. She said "I don't know". Mr Boyd then begins to text me stating the charge is for his trip coming out to look at the system. Something he never mentioned, in conversation or texts prior to his arrival or anytime until now.

We’ve called Ideal for help twice. As return customers we were treated like we were the most important appointment they had on their schedule even thought fhvivknow they were swamped. They even went the extra mile and repaired out fireplace! We won’t use anyone other than Alan and his team for our heating n cooling!

My air conditioner stopped working yesterday. I called and had service within two hours. They were professional, very quick to respond, and they charged a very reasonable rate. I will never look for another a/c guy - and I will recommend them to everyone I know!

Our A/C went out in the middle of us trying to sell our house and showings going on! Not to mention I have two toddlers and a 4 month old baby at home! These guys came out next day and repaired it in 15 minutes! They are super professional and efficient!! I will continue to call them for any future A/C or heating repairs I need!

Ideal Comfort Heating and Air was called when our old unit was not working. Having someone local was one of the things we looked at. Alan came out and soon had our problem diagnosed. After discussing the pros and cons of fixing a unit that was old we asked Alan for a quote on a new heating and cooling system. Alan had our quote in no time at all and we agreed for him to install the new heating and cooling unit with needed duct work. Alan's work in removing the old and installing the new was prompt, efficient and quality workmanship. The new system has performed above what was expected and the savings are beginning to add up. DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT IDEAL COMFORT HEATING AND AIR for all your heating and cooling needs; you will be very satisfied!

There are any number of obvious reasons why the AC never breaks down at a good time. Small business, 90° outside, 82° inside and I can't stir up dust with a fan. If you've ever been in a similar situation, you may have felt what most people feel, anywhere from helplessness to full blown OMG. I called Ideal Comfort due to the excellent Google reviews and I was not disappointed. He gave me a time, showed up early, and got the AC running in short order. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and will not hesitate to call Alan again. Great young man, great service.

Alan was a great communicator. He was able to come check out my a/c problem between rain storms. Called when he said he would. Showed up on time. Called and told me his findings. Great work ethic. Very pleased.
