Very professional experience all the way through. They found mold under our kitchen cabinets caused by a slow pipe leak and completed the mold removal efficiently. The air scrubbers they used made a huge difference within hours. No upselling, just honest recommendations.

I was nervous calling about mold removal because I didn’t know how bad it was. Turns out it came from an old plumbing issue behind the wall. The technician explained everything calmly and handled the mold removal without judgment or pressure.

They sealed the area, removed affected materials, and left the space clean and safe. Huge relief.

My basement had a musty smell for months, and I assumed it was nothing. Turns out moisture had been trapped behind insulation, and mold had started spreading. Their mold removal was quick, clean, and organized. The best part? They sent photo updates along the way. Now, the basement smells fresh again and feels safe to use.

We had ongoing humidity problems in our basement and didn’t realize how bad things had gotten. When they showed us the mold growth, I was genuinely worried about my family’s health.

They explained the risks, walked us through the mold removal process, and corrected the moisture issue that caused it. The crew worked carefully, sealed everything properly, and treated our home with respect. Our basement finally feels clean, dry, and safe again.

The customer care don’t sounds like a business maker they look like employees working for paycheck ( sure they are) , they look tired and feeling exhausted when you asking them a question

I updated my kitchen: new cabinets, counters, backsplash, plumbing fixtures and dishwasher, undercounter lights and over sink lights. They provided a clear, detailed and accurate estimate complete with drawings, made sure my personal preferences were included, and recommended excellent vendors for the various items to be selected. The guys doing the work - removal of the old kitchen, new carpentry, plumbing, electrical, tile/granite work, etc. - are some of the best I've observed. They are also some of the easiest people to work with, responding very quickly to any questions - even after the work is completed. Great experience, very happy with the results, and I'm receiving lots of compliments when anyone sees the new kitchen.

I have to say, Frank runs an excellent company. They came in with solutions to my needs at a very affordable rate for what I was searching for. Highly recommended for anyone looking to build custom additions or renovations to their homes.

Frank/Pro Choice did a complete remodel on my 1938 home (roof to basement, including HVAC, hardwood floors and tiles, 4 bathroom remodels, kitchen remodel, shifting of existing wall structures, electrical, and interior/exterior paint). It came out great, and everything looks amazing. Frank is a very bright guy who knows all aspects of construction, and he has the type of creative mind that allows him to tackle even the largest of construction issues.

    Where to begin.
We purchased a home that was sold due to the owner running out of money to finish the build. We thought it would be a good idea to hire the same contractor that was previously working on the house. Frank agreed and said it would only take 1-2 months to finish. The house only needed insulation, drywall, kitchen cabinets, fixtures, doors. The last items that go into a home basically. We all signed the contract in June of 2023, very excited to have our home finished to move in before the kids started school towards the end of August. We did not hear anything from Frank until 4 months later. In October of 2023. And only because WE attempted to see what was going on and why we hadn’t heard anything. Long story short, it is June 2024. Frank has probably come to work on the house a handful of times in the whole entire year. Working maybe 2 hours each time.
Frank has the worst attitude. He yells, curses, hangs up on us when we try and ask for an update or try to find out when he is coming to work on the house next. We have caught him in multiple incidents charging more or double the amount of materials needed to make more money. We know this, because we are living on the property in a travel trailer because it was only supposed to be for a month or two. We keep an eye on everything because this is our first time building a home and we WERE so excited. My husband and I are very understanding and patient. We offer to help him in any way that we can. Each time he has come by, we always clean up after him to make it easier for his next visit so that he always starts with a clean slate. The first time we caught him was with the flooring. We asked about it and he went ABSURD. Screaming, cursing, hung up on us. We got in contact with our lender and she told us we needed to email him with the amount of flooring that was purchased and what was charged on the bid and what was supposed to be reimbursed. He got so upset that he did not show up to work for a good while. We emailed multiple times for an update on the house and he would not respond.
We have had to SETTLE for almost every item in our bid due to it being out of stock because it has been so long or he ordered the wrong sized cabinet, etc. Frank does not verify anything before purchasing items. He orders whatever, orders the incorrect item, or not enough items. This has been to almost everything on the bid. Our house smells of cigarette and weed to top it off.
Frank makes up all kinds of other charges to make more money. On our bid he charged us for trim. Not specific in any way. So now, he tries to charge us for having to buy extra trim for different areas because again, he never buys enough.
If you do decide to hire him, you need to be VERY SPECIFIC with what you are being charged.
He will also switch up items at the last minute with something cheaper to pocket the difference.
Frank is the reason the previous home owner lost this home. Because of the extra unexpected charges that he makes up.
Frank is VERY careless. We have found nails in water pipes, screws in electrical outlets.
Frank is extremely unorganized. Nothing has gone as planned with him. It is ALWAYS something.
Franks favorite saying is “I don’t have any money”. He tries to guilt trip us into giving him more money when we do have contact with him. Our lender specifically told us that contractors do this and to never, ever give money because he told us EXACTLY what was to be purchased along with his labor costs.
The point of a general contractor is to manage and to relieve stress from the homeowners. Frank has done the work himself and it is VERY inconsistent and unprofessional. We hired him for a quality job and have seen the complete opposite of it. There is not one single thing that he has done, that I have liked. At this point I have settled 100% because we just want our home already. My husband and I will just fix everything once we are able to move in. That is not the way it should be.
We work hard for our money and we would never wish this upon anyone which is why I am leaving this review.

I recently hired Frank Marina to handle a full-scale remodel of a 1950s house from top to bottom. The project was complex. We took a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom house and turned it into a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home with two bonus rooms and an office. From the very start, Frank Marina stood out for his knowledge and helpfulness. He was there every step of the way, making sure I understood the process, and providing insightful recommendations.

He always took the time to answer my questions. While large renovations can be stressful, Frank worked hard to keep it within my budget; he was always a reliable source of guidance and expertise. His experience really showed, and it was reassuring to have someone who always had a great advice and solutions.

There were a few challenges along the way, as there often are with big remodels, but Frank was quick to address them with me and offer solutions. In the end, the house looks fantastic, and I’m very happy with how it all turned out. I’d recommend Frank Marina to anyone looking for a skilled and dependable general contractor.

They installedour new walkin-in tub. Had to redo the tub surround and bathroom floor. They did an excellent job. Had expert workers for each phase of the job, plumbing, tiling, painting etc. They were very careful moving things in and out of the house. Good to work with. I recommend them highly.

The owner Jonathan is a absolute gem to work with. He is always helpful responsive and knowledgeable. He takes his time and makes sure the job right the first time. In my opinion you can not put a price on the expertise he brings to the table.

They made our home beautiful and were a joy to have in our home. Every single one. I was comfortable leaving my home and being alone in my home with the gentlemen. They even finished a month early!
