A Cape Fear Technician diagnosed an amperage problem in the blower motor of my old furnace. I decided it was time to replace the furnace and Josh gave me an estimate that was fair. The day of the furnace replacement went great. The 2 installers were very professional and did an excellent installation. They cleaned up afterwards and left me as a very satisfied customer.

I’m happy with Cape fear services. Technician Bobby was very professional,knowledgeable and friendly. He did a great job with our annual maintenance and answer all my questions. I will prefer him for my upcoming visit.

Cape Fear always provides professional, competent and timely service. They also maintain continuity of technical support, in my case, it's been Bobby for the past several bi-annual service checks. When things fall apart, Cape Fear has consistently helped myself and other members of my family at nearby residences repair the issues and get things back to normal. Glad they're there and don't plan to use any other service, nope!

I had another outstanding experience with Cape Fear Air Condition and Heating Company, INC, and I can’t say enough good things about them. I had an issue come up with my unit, and they sent out technician Kevin Blasingim—and let me tell you, this guy is awesome. Nicest, coolest, easiest-to-talk-to technician you’ll ever meet.

Kevin immediately got to work diagnosing the problem, walked me through everything step-by-step, and explained exactly what needed to be done. He didn’t sugarcoat anything, didn’t waste any time, and made sure I understood everything clearly. He’s also arranging for their electrician to come out and take care of the rest. That’s the kind of service you want—thorough, honest, and on top of it.

This company truly is amazing. Every single person I’ve talked to—whether in the office or out in the field—has been friendly, easygoing, and more than willing to explain things in a way that makes sense. They treat you right, and it shows.

Previous Experience:
A while back, I worked with Josh Pitts, who helped me pick out a new system, and the installers Mr. Nelson and Mr. Santos, who were professional, respectful, and did excellent work. That experience was top-notch, and this latest one with Kevin only proves again why this company is the best in the business.

Had to have a new H20 heater moved from under the house to the garage. Cape Fear was one of 4 quotes and weren't the cheapest... but they were thorough in their quote, explained every option, and were both timely and professional. The install was smooth, on-time and professionally done. Even the county inspector was impressed with the quality of the job when they came by. Would use Cape Fear again without a doubt in the future.

I had several estimates for a big household plumbing job. I was most impressed by Rob and Keith at Cape Fear because they exhibited professionalism and deep expertise on the problem and best solution. They always showed up on time and worked to avoid disruptions in water supply. Rob helped particularly with the setup of a custom cabinet and sink for the bathroom which was a request as we updated. Throughout the work, they didn't let set backs slow them down and they stayed to the original estimate. Rob and Keith were great to work with and I'd therefore recommend Cape Fear Plumbing.🪠 I will also consider them for other work in the future.

I have been a customer for a couple of years now including a full AC/heating system installation and regular maintenance. Cape Fear staff are always friendly and professional. They go above and beyond to try to keep you happy. They offer good service / expertise at a reasonable price.

For system installations, they stand behind their work ensuring that everything is working as expected and resolving any issues.

For maintenance, they have some excellent technicians (Bobby, Kevin, and others). They are quick to respond, and keep you updated with arrival times. The technicians are well trained in their craft and are able to resolve a host of different issues and offer practical advice on any next steps.

I have worked with a lot of HVAC companies in the area and would recommend Cape Fear. They strike the right balance of quality, professionalism and price.

- For installations they normally offer Trane products, but can install most brands
- I had a Trane 17 Multi-Speed AC and Trane S9X2 furnace installed

Cape Fear Air, Electric & Plumbing replaced my HVAC unit and ductwork in Feb 2025. They gave me a fair price. The guys that did the installation showed up when promised and finished the job as promised.
Bobby C did our one year maintenace and he did a great job and answered all of my questions.
I would recommend this company.

I would highly recommend this company from my initial phone call with Misty to the very knowledgeable and professional serviceman Donnie. Comfort Hounds came out for a same day service call to check my furnace. Everything is working properly now. Rob was very friendly and explained everything that was going on to us. I will definitely be using Comfort Hounds from now on!

Quick, efficient, honest, knowledgeable, and effective service.

Our heat was not holding the temperature as it should. Comfort Hounds was quickly able to find the problem that a previous HVAC technician had covered up, fix it, and get the heat running properly. On a return visit they were able to diagnose and repair a couple of fan issues.

It is much more comfortable inside the house now.
