Justin just left 11/24/25.He came and fixed our clogged toilet, which i tried to unclog multiple times, within an hour of the call. He was kind, professional, and honest. Even gave our dog a pet. No complaints.

I recently dealt with a main drain blockage and made the mistake of calling Roto-Rooter. Sure, they showed up quickly, but that was the only decent part of the entire experience. They sent someone who immediately quoted me an outrageous $825 just to jet the line and run a camera—no real explanation, no alternatives, nothing. He spent barely an hour here and never even suggested something as basic and far cheaper as snaking the line. Instead, he jumped straight to saying it was a tree root issue and that someone else would call me later to talk about “solutions.”

Honestly, how on earth does one hour of work add up to $825? The whole thing felt like a blatant rip-off.

Zachary was great. Our bathtub drain stopped draining and Zach looked at all the plumbing connected with our bathroom assessed what he needed to do and did it. He was very polite, professional and a pleasure to do business with. Highly recommend the company and Zachary in particular.

Justin was amazing. Showed up within minutes of the call saying a plumber was on the way! Super professional, kind, and understanding! Work was completed within a 1/2 hour! Couldn’t be happier with the service I received!

Our house had a sewer backup late on a Saturday night. Roto Rooter had someone come over late that evening and he spent 2-3 hours trying to fix the problem. His supervisor was called in on Sunday to help further diagnose a very challenging problem with our sewer line. The entire team was incredibly timely, worked very diligently for long and late hours and was able to get a big problem solved in less than a week. Our family was very grateful for making the effort and really caring to get a large problem fixed quickly. Thank you to Gary and team!!!!!

I use Roto Rooter a lot all over the country for my commercial properties and I was having an issue with a sewer smell coming out of the floor drains. The plumber Kevin went onsite and was able to not only resolve the issue quickly and for a very reasonable price, but explained exactly what was causing it. Great experience and I'll definitely use this branch again!

I called 2 weeks ago, during a snow storm, which I was not expecting same day service, but they still have not even called me back to schedule anything. The dispatcher took my information, and said a tech will call to go over time availabilty and pricing... 2 weeks later, still no call. I ended up going with a local company who had my appointment scheduled the same day, and a tech came out the next day by noon! All I needed was my Kitchen drain snaked...

When I spoke to you on the phone you NEVER mentioned him calling me that sunday. You said he was the only plumber working and his call log was too long, and did not make it to me. He NEVER called. I would be more then happy to pull my call records, especially since you want to lie. It's not my job to keep calling you. If you can't call back, that tells me you don't want my business and I will happily take it elsewhere, which I did. This place needs accountability, and to not lie. I find it funny no where in the conversation you had with me did you mention at all the plumber called me... not once. All you stated was he was too busy Sunday, and it slipped through the cracks, and apologized, then offered me a coupon....

Justin was amazing! He came out at the time I was told (early) and addressed my sewer back up! My mighty Sycamore tree roots needed clearing out and with the water jet he fixed it. He was polite and my dog Milo liked him ( that's the sign of a good guy!) Highly recommend this company!

Jesse was the man for the job. Knew what he was doing. He us very efficient and quick. Also friendly and helpful with good advice. He went over job and price ahead of time so no nasty surprises. Thanks Jesse!

Jake, Josh, and Jesse came out and did a patch to our sewer pipe because the old adapter where it goes from a 4inch pipe to a 6inch pipe was outdated and letting roots grow into it and clogging the sewer pipe. They had it done in one day, took lots of photos, and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. They had a professional attitude and were easy to work with.
Just to be clear they had to dig up my front yard to do this, so it’s great that they did this amazing of a job.

Scam alert! I have a back up in my main line and called Roto for an estimate to snake the line. I was told they could only give estimates in person. I agreed to have someone come out I got a call that a plumber was on the way. Someone from Roto Rooter was there shortly. He came in and went to my basement and into the downstairs bathroom before telling me he was there.re: "water restoration". Did I ask to see someone regarding water restoration? NO. Did I realize he was not a plumber before he walked through my home? NO. Very deceptive!! After I told him I would be doing the clean up myself because my deductible was $2300, he stated that I would be over that amount in clean up charges. I relayed that was irrelevant since I did not have the $2300 to begin with. What he suggested next, I came to understand later, was
basically deceiving the insurance company by"offsetting" that $2300 within the fee. Interesting.

The plumber arrives later. He walks downstairs and up - does nothing to verify anything (so he really did not need to come out in the first place) and then quotes $895. He, first, however inquired who my insurer was. I told him I was not going that route. He said "I was only trying to save you money" I already knew a fair price was under $300 so I said thanks and goodbye.

I called ABC plumbing. They are snaking my mainline at 8am tomorrow for $200, quoted over the phone.

In short, Roto Rooter sent an unrequested Rep to my house who did not state his true intention until he had already been allowed in and then he tried to take financial advantage of me and/or my insurance company. Next, they sent a plumber who tried to overcharge me.

Shame on you all - including the phone gal who knows this is all a set up from the start. You should be ashamed!!

Regarding the response below that I was offered multiple prices, completely untrue.
Moreover, note, he/she did not address the fact that they first sent someone to my home who did not make me aware he was not the plumber until after he walked through my home. EXTREMELY unethical. There are certain standards Roto Rooter needs to adhere to since they are a publicly traded company and that incident would definitely infringe on those. Buyer Beware.

I had an unexpected water leak on Christmas Eve and Roto rooter came out to fix it within 30 minutes. Nick was great and explained everything very well! From communication with the receptionist to Nick I would recommend! The work with military as well! Thank you!

We had a pipe running from our basement to the septic system that was essentially destroyed, replacing it was something I had been putting off. I talked with Gary, the general manager about it, and he did what he could to have his crew carry out the replacement in the easiest and most cost-effective way they could do it. Nate, Josh, and Jake came by the next morning, earlier than scheduled, and took care of it quickly and efficiently, finishing up earlier than anticipated, and at a lower price than was estimated. The replacement came with a 20-year, transferable warranty. Five stars, would recommend!

Just had Nick clear out a drain from our bathroom sink. He was very kind and knowledgeable!! On the pricey end, but the job was done well and quickly.

We had a leak, but couldn't find it. We would just find a puddle of water on the floor of the basement after showers. Roto-rooter responded quick. Martin did a great job. Within minutes he found the leak coming from the shower valve. Told us exactly what he would do and had us fixed in no time. Would absolutely recommend Roto-Rooter.
