We have an Tappen Wall Oven, original to our 1955 house. The lower heating element finally went but Trevor Murrell was on the job! After his initial “Wow”, when he first saw the oven he quickly assessed the problem, found the part (luckily) and fixed the oven within 48 hours. He was friendly, courteous and efficient. And even expressed his gladness that we fixed instead of replaced. We know now who to call should the need arise. Trevor and company are truly A1!

We had issues with our fridge and Tad was the technician who responded to our issue. He was so kind, helpful and super informative. Would recommend A1 without a doubt!

When we had an issue with a burning wire behind our oven, we called A-1 to come out and look at it. Tad showed up, was super friendly and professional, fixed my issue quickly, and the price was totally reasonable. He saved us a boatload of money by repairing our existing unit so we didn't have to go out and buy a new one. If ever we have an issue with an appliance again in the future, I'm going with these folks again. 10/10, five stars, two thumbs up, etc.

Performed warranty repairs on my dishwasher. Derek did great, personable and professional. Everyone I spoke to over the course of a few calls was courteous and helpful.

I starting using A-1 Appliance Service when I had extended warranty repairs. I have used them on non-warranty repairs, as well. The most recent examples were two warranty repairs. The first one was for my mother's dishwasher. The technician, Derek, quickly diagnosed the issue, but could not complete the repair because the work order from the extended warranty company was issued for the wrong dishwasher (we have two in our house). I called the warranty company to fix the error, and A-1 was back at my house the next day!

The most recent service is when my other dishwasher needed a warranty repair. A-1 called me right away and got me on the schedule ASAP. The scheduler is always kind and pleasant. Derek was the technician again. He called me in the morning to give me a time window, and was here when promised. He was friendly efficient and completed the repair quickly.

Jerry replaced our GE Monogram icemaker drainage tray. He showed up on time and worked hard to replace it. No easy task working in a small space. He politely answered my many questions, too. 😊

COREY just repaired my new Electrolux dryer! He diagnosed and repaired the problem, literally, within five minutes of being here!!!!
Electrolux originally sent out AAA TV repair (yes, that’s correct!) last October for a service call. The technician said I needed to replace the dryer drum because that’s what was causing the horribly loud rubbing noise. AAA TV Repair said he would order a new drum and that’s the last I ever heard from that company. I have made repeated texts to the company because you cannot call them! They only accept text messages. I have texted and texted and texted and texted yet never received a reply, ZERO update, after six months of waiting!!!!
Well, as it turns out, that was not the problem anyway!
Corey diagnosed the problem immediately which was a dented side panel, causing the rubbing noise. He remove the panel and popped the dent out without damaging the side of my dryer. COREY also ran the dryer with a heavy rug in it to make sure the dryer was operating normally. It works perfectly now. 🥳🙌🏻

The scheduling was easy and convenient and the technician, Nick, was great to work with and got our wall oven/ microwave repaired within a couple of days of the initial estimate.

Our office dishwasher "went kaput," so we called these guys to come out. Low and behold, it wasn't broken, but someone had spilled Dawn dish detergent into the machine, causing it to foam up and leak. Bret was awesome, took the time to explain HOW to fix it (olive oil, BTW), and gave us some advice on our old refrigerator. Trevor was also there, and he seemed nice as well. From the initial call to the repairs being made on our appliance, we were more than pleased with what a great team they have at A-1 Appliance. Will definitely call them in the future! Being authorized by Speed Queen to do repairs was a great plus!

Mike at A1 has taken great care of us over the last year. He always lets us know his timeline for arrival and makes recommendations or repairs promptly.

Most recently, Mike went above and beyond to get our range fixed just in time for Thanksgiving.

Called A1 Appliance Service Friday afternoon and Monday a technician was at our house. Jerry quickly identified the issue with our Bosch dishwasher and then made some adjustments so we should not experience the same issue in the future. Highly recommend

We thank David from A-1 Appliance for repairing our dryer. He called to let us know he could arrive early. He was knowledgeable and explained our options. I would highly recommend him and A-1 and will use this company again for repairs on other appliances.

The Technician arrived on time, repaired my oven range, tested the fan that was replaced and then he was out the door. I appreciated the care he took while working on my oven, covering my floor and allowing me to swept behind the oven while it was pull out from the wall. My Warranty cover the cost.

Tad is awesome very personable and knowledgeable! Have had a few things repaired over the years and he always is on time and kind. Although I hope I don’t have any other appliances break it is always a pleasure to work with Tad.

We bought a new refrigerator to replace the one we were having issues with for the last 4 years (LG issues).
Well, our new fridge came with it's own issues, new out of the box! It would stop making ice. We had the "Factory" rep out 3x and 3-4 weeks after he left each time, the same issue would happen. The tech did all sorts of tests, replaced the ice maker to no avail. They finally sent A1 out and their tech found the gasket on the door was not making contact when closed. Made some adjustments and we haven't had the problem since, and it's been 3 months!

A-1 Service has been to my home four times to repair a brand-new refrigerator with the same leak in the same location each time. At that point, this is no longer a repair issue, it’s a failure to acknowledge a non-repairable appliance.

To be clear, the technician completed the assigned repair tasks each visit. The problem is not effort or skill, it’s accountability. Despite repeated, documented failures and having the authority to mark the unit as non-repairable, A-1 leadership (Seth) instead suggested that I was being "unethical" for seeking a replacement.

Continuing to rebuild the same appliance while refusing to recognize a clear defect is not customer service, it’s deflection. After four failed repairs, the responsibility is to acknowledge the failure and advocate for replacement, not shift blame to the consumer in order to protect the manufacturer.

Use this company at your own risk; do not expect solution-oriented service or consumer advocacy.

You can expect that they will set up a FIFTH repair, because that's what I have now.

We had our dryer vent cleaned by Dean today. He did a great job! I wasn’t sure if we needed it done as I try to vacuum out the inside lint compartment on our dryer and the vent duct itself is pretty short to the exterior wall. But, A-1 was running a special so I added it to our service. We’ve never had this done professionally. I’m super glad we did because it needed it!! Dean showed me before and after pictures that were very helpful! Now, it will take much less time for our clothes to dry.

Top notch from start to finish! Christy answered the phone, took all my information and set an appointment asap. Our microwave had the opening latch broken. Unfortunately, we had just placed food inside. Unable to get the unit opened and remove the food, this could have been a very ugly, smelly situation had we had to wait 2 days for the earliest appointment. Surprisingly, Christy called me back within an hour and said a couple of her guys were right around the corner and “would we mind if they stopped by”…uhh…YEAH!! Within minutes, Tad Murphy and his associate Brett (I didn’t get his last name) arrived and diagnosed the problem. They drove out, picked up the part and returned within 30 minutes. Another 15 minutes and everything was working and back to normal. Tad, Brett and Christie truly saved the day! Thank you guys!!
