From the moment he came to our home to assess our HVAC system—both the AC and furnace were well over 20 years old and in need of replacement—he made the entire process seamless. Ian walked us through several options, helping us choose the best one to meet our needs both in terms of budget and home efficiency.

If you are looking for a new plumber you should definitely hire Schneller and Knochelmann. Our bathroom faucet handle had broke and we needed a new faucet installed. I called and they were able to get us on the schedule quickly. They gave us a quote on sight for exactly how much it was going to cost (not an hourly bid). We had to order our new faucet but once I knew the date of delivery they were able to come the very next day to fix it for us. Chad was super and nice and very knowledgeable. We are super happy we chose them and will definitely be using them for all of our future plumbing needs.

The Salesman was really nice & helpful, the installers did a really great job installing my new system, they put plastic down on the carpet and wore shoe protectors, they cleaned up really good. I will refer Schneller Knochelmann to others.

$25k, and I get 80 degree cooling with an outdoor temp of 78.... my utility bill has tripled since going with this company.... that said, they tried to buy our silence by offering 50% back but sent back less than 30%...

Thank you for replying, I really appreciate you trying to find my issue. However, several techs have come out, and none of them are SpacePak certified. The original issue was that the air handler was freezing up. Your techs solution was to replace it with a hi velocity system. Not only did you replace the air handler, you also added duct work (on a separate bill) because there was not enough air flow... Also, half of the visits were due to your techs not being able to fit in the small space to adjust it properly, so you had to make serval return visits. Not to mention the blown out ducts your tech designed and built and the air inlet hose that was not installed correctly, on top of that every tech had differed opinions as to why we have not had positive results.
Send to me, I need a spacepak expert or need to put back the old air handler that was only 2 yrs old. You can call me to discuss this further.

Tony did an awesome job repairing our Pool Heat Pump. Before entering my home, Tony took the time to put boot covers on to protect my wood floors without me requesting! Very professional, helpful and answered all of my many questions. Will be using Schneller Knochelmann Plumbing for our annual inspection of pool mechanics and heat pump from now on. I Highly recommend you give Schneller Knochelmann a call for any of your electrical & plumbing issues you may have. I was so impressed with Tony’s knowledge about pool openings that I plan to have him scheduled to complete an inspection/maintenance for our 2025 pool opening to ensure our pool mechanics and heater are in top shape for the season.

This was our first experience with Schneller Knockelmann, and it was excellent. The representative was very professional, but very personal at the same time. It was a great customer experience for us.

After discovering a frozen coil I called the business and was given a next day appointment. Andrew showed up on time and diagnosed my problem within 15 minutes. After giving me several options for repair I opted to go with an installment of a new system due to the age of my AC and cost of R22. Mark was able to stop by an hour later, measure my system and walk me through my options. He answered all my questions, was honest and upfront. I elected for an installation of a new AC and Furnace due to their competitive pricing and great equipment offered. The install team showed up the next day and David introduced himself and what he’d be doing. Throughout the course of the day he kept me in the loop, didn’t mind my hovering and answered all of my questions. After they finished they cleaned up, walked me through my new system and left. I am beyond pleased with everything I was offered, from the service, sales, and installation. Great company and phenomenal staff. Give them a call, you won’t regret it.

I joined the maintenance program when I bought my home last year, as the previous owner had been using them. I am so pleased with the service I've received and the knowledgeable people who have been to my home. This is the most professional sales & service business I have ever used! Every step of the way they were responsive, prompt, communicative, reliable, and above all courteous and friendly. The employees seem to love what they do and feel valued in their company, and that shines through in their concern for the needs of the customer. Once you engage with Schneller Knochelmann, you will receive reminders, updates, and follow-ups during every step of the process via phone, email, or text depending on your preferences. The site visit to evaluate my needs was very thorough, as was the follow-up to present the quotation. I upgraded my AC to a heat pump to reduce my heating oil costs in the winter as the price of oil rises. I was slotted in for installation very quickly, and the installation itself went fast and smooth. The installation techs (David & Tyler U.) were extremely respectful of our home and communicated with me as the homeowner in a respectful and professional manner. The quality of the installation is outstanding. I could not be more pleased with this experience!

Update: I needed help understanding how to configure the new smart thermostat. Schneller Knochelmann sent out Eric M. right away to answer my questions. Not only did he get the thermostat set up the way I wanted it, he also checked my existing air handler and made an adjustment to the blower speed to optimize it for cooling and heating. He also did a follow-up pressure check on the new heat pump and found that it needed a little bit more refrigerant to be perfectly balanced. Another great experience with the pro team at Schneller Knochelmann!

Cody was our tech and explained all of our options. He even pointed out some things that we weren't told at time of install when our unit was new. Very honest and low pressure. Pricing is comparable to others, but quality is far better.

They installed a completely new system in our house. Incredible experience! From start to finish everything was a "breeze". They accomplished it in one day with a fantastic team of installers. Also had to work in some not so easy places! So happy I chose them for the job, and all of my needs from here on out!

We needed to replace 2 HVAC sytems. Salesman Mark Goodman made the process painless from start to finish. The installation team was prompt, courteous, and professional. They called a week later to make sure I was happy. I am. You will be, too.

My Nest thermostat shorted out and was trying to run the AC while heating my home at the same time. It was 21 degrees outside! After a couple of hours trying to get it reset it was midnight, so called the service line thinking I would reach a recording and would have to leave a message to schedule a service call for the next morning. Surprised when a person answered my call live and scheduled a service tech right away. Chad showed up 20 minutes later, was very professional and replaced my thermostat and checked my system for issues. It was 3:00am when he finished. Chad was a complete professional, AWESOME service!! Thanks Chad, and SK…!

Would not recommend using them unless you want to pay double market price for their services. Had a young technician tell me I needed to replace a gas control valve ($460 part) on my water heater and then wanted me to pay $477 to drain my water heater which takes 20 minutes and can be done by watching a 5 minute YouTube tutorial video. Then $524 to install the new gas control valve, which takes about 15 minutes to uninstall the old one and put in a new one. And surprise the water heater didn’t work. I then removed the gas burner unit and noticed the hot surface ignitor had broken or corroded and could not produce a spark to light the flame. This part was $110 and I was able to fix the issue in about 10 minutes. You would think a skilled technician would be able to diagnose this problem. It was transparent he wanted to upsell and pushed replacing the unit rather than repair it. Don’t trust what they tell you and always get a second opinion when using this company. It saved me $1,000.

I called Schneller Knochelmann when my furnace stopped working. The technician told me it could be repaired, but strongly pushed replacing the entire unit instead. They used aggressive same-day sales tactics, saying the quoted price was only valid that day. I agreed to the replacement and have regretted it ever since. From the moment the new furnace was installed, it was problem after problem. Right away, it couldn’t cool the upstairs at all. We had multiple nights where the upstairs temperature was over 80 degrees. Schneller Knochelmann sent several different technicians, and required multiple follow up calls from me before they admitted that the furnace had been installed incorrectly and sent a more senior tech to fix it. Only then did it finally cool the upstairs properly. Fast forward to the following winter where we called them again due to an odor. Their technician said there was a gas leak in the furnace and that a special part had to be ordered to fix it. After the part was installed, though, the odor continued, so we called a plumber, thinking it might be a plumbing issue. The plumber could not find any plumbing issue and when I mentioned the previous gas leak in the furnace, he asked if he could check it. Good thing he did because he discovered that it was still leaking gas. He said the gas line connection at the furnace was done terribly and was leaking - he fixed it immediately. Unfortunately, it didn’t end there. A couple of months later, the furnace stopped blowing hot air altogether. I called a different HVAC company, and once again, the issue was traced back to incorrect installation by Schneller Knochelmann. The new HVAC company fixed the problem and I will be using them from now on. Between the aggressive sales tactics, repeated installation errors, constant follow-ups required on my end, and a gas leak that was never properly fixed, my experience was extremely frustrating and alarming. I strongly recommend staying as far away as possible from Schneller Knochelmann.

Woke up to no hot water on a Saturday with a 1 degree temperature outside and called your service line. Nick was here in less than two hours to replace the thermostat on our tank. Professional, courteous and competent. Outstanding service!! Thank you.

New HVAC unit installed today—both furnace and AC—and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish.
