HVAC reviews in Cincinnati, Ohio

Our AC broke down during the night with many hot days ahead of us. We called Bryant at 7.00am, they set up a same day appointment right away. At 9.00 am ST Bob arrived and at 11.00 am everything was working again! Bob was not only a kindhearted hard worker, he was also to the point, explained our options and how to prevent HVAC disasters in the future and was respectful to our home (and dog). The bill was very reasonable. We are very happy with the overall service and look forward to stay in business with Bryant in the future.

Almost 5 star. Bryant electrician came out to my home to install a new electrical panel and an electrical outlet in my basement. The electrical service performed was excellent. However, the damage to my drywall, wood trim, drop ceiling tile and new epoxy floor was more than I think was necessary. All in All I would still use this company for my electrical needs because they are prompt and did a good job on the electrical installation, just make sure YOU protect the work area to minimize damage.
*Update* 09/24/20 I am happy to share that the ownership of Bryant Electric contacted me personally to offer to correct the damage incurred during their technicians installation. This effort made me feel valued as a customer and warrants changing my experience from a 4 star rating to a 5 star rating. Kudos to you Bryant Electric for Great Customer Service. -
Following up, after our furnace began acting up after their routine inspection Troy told us a part was not under warranty and we needed a new furnace ours was only 7 years old. Our furnace NEVER had issues until the routine cleaning / tune up. We found a private 1 man furnace specialist and he was able to order us a new $ 1,000 part that was STILL UNDER WARRANTY, only a small $70 service fee for his time compared to a new $7,000 unit! Stay away from Bryant !!!!

Mike was my tech today. He was wonderful. He took as much time as he needed to explain all my issues and concerns regarding my furnace. He was very honest and ethical. He did not spend his time trying to sell me things I did not need or tell me things had to be replaced today that didn't. I am always looking for honesty and ethical treatment and today I received just that. I would certainly use them again.

Bryant has always been thorough, professional and, most importantly, honest. Mike performed the annual cleaning on the furnace/heat pump in our condo. He noticed I had two cats and remembered I had a dog as well. I joked about taking meds daily and getting allergy shots regularly. He went above and beyond by suggesting we use pleated filters instead of fiberglass ones, so I ordered them while he was here. He covered his shoes so as not to track anything from outside inside. He cleaned and showed me what came off the coils. He's professional and does his job well! No cell phone calls, no chatting with others, as we've had happen with other service people. Thank you, Bryant Heating & Cooling for sending service person Mike W to our home!

Bob did a great job with the preventive maintenance of both my AC and furnace. He was very professional, personable, and informative. The only reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because I was given a 9am-12pm window him to arrive and he didn't arrive until a little after 12 (although I am not sure if this was the fault of the the scheduling staff or the service technician). However, Bob was efficient once he arrived and was done by 1pm. Overall, he did a great and thorough job, and I really appreciated his work and the tips he gave me for yearly maintenance of my AC and furnace (especially as a new homeowner).

Over the summer I had a small fire in my circuit breaker box which left me without power until it was replaced. Bryant was one of the contractors I contacted and they were both the most professional and prompt as they could send out an electrician the soonest. The electrician completed work within the expected time frame and my electricity was back up with no problems reported since.

Bryant has been great. Not only were they quick to respond to our initial request for a quote, they were quick to install and quick to resolve an issue that arose with our AC shortly after install. Troy was always very responsive to us, and they got a solution to our problem within a day. The system has been running without issue since! The techs have all been great too. We are very happy we chose Bryant.

The Technician was great but the price was terrible. $376 to install a $25 Capacitor. Less than 5 minutes and job is complete. I understand that I am paying for "knowledge" but good grief, next time I am going to think twice before calling your company for service... which is sad because I have had good service from you all in the past.

Our system kept loosing Pureon, so we finally decided to purchase Bryant’s best AC/Heating system. We are truly very pleased with our purchase so far and would like to thank their Team leader, Theo for going above and beyond climbing through our attic on a very hot day to make sure the new line set was installed properly. Also, thanks to his team members, Troy and of course don’t forget Bailey who helped to keep the old system running.
The best system is so quiet and it keeps the house so cool. Would highly recommend this system. -
I was out of town and had them come check out my rental property AC ahead of a heat wave a d thought he could cheat us. Tech diagnosed a capacitor and and connectors as needing to be replaced and attempted to bill me $314 dollars for EACH part. Note that these parts are under 30 bucks each. I got a 2nd opinion and only the connector was broken, and was replaced for 140 bucks. The tech also quoted me $7.5k for a replacement AC which I am about to replace for $3K. In summary, use them at your own risk.

THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD, CUSTOMERS BEWARE… Yesterday was my appt with their tech to come and do just summer maintenance since my 6 year old HVCA unit was running perfectly well. The appt is from 12-3, he calls at 3 and says he’ll be in my house in 4 mins. I was waiting for him and finally he rings the bell and this rude guy (doesn’t introduce himself) tells me the capacitor is not working. I was taken aback wondering how he knew that, and he told me he already checked the unit. That is a big no no, how can I be sure he didn’t switch the capacitor or tampered with my unit. I normally watch what this guys are doing to make sure nothing nefarious takes place. So I told him I’m going to call the office and he said he is leaving. He really acted dubious which aroused my suspicion that he did tamper with my unit, since just before he came my unit was running perfectly fine and all i need is maintainance. I called up the office and talked to a manager named Anisa and she said she will send somebody else to look over my system and performed the maintenance free. A tech named Daily came the next day to test the capacitor and affirmed what the previous guy was saying and it would cost me $400 to change the capacitor. He goes to his truck and the supposedly new capacitor came in an old , stained and with cobwebs box . I asked him if those are new and he assured me they are but offered to pick a new one over at a store in Sharonville. While he was out, I started checking out the price of a similar capacitor and they range from $15-39. I called other HVAC company and found out that the price to install a new capacitor is $120-250. So agree with the previous review, this company is a FRAUD, and I really regret having them come to my house, my AC unit was running fine until this guy came and tampered with it. So customers BEWARE
Follow-up: I called the company that installed the HVAC unit and was informed that the capacitor installed was the same as the unit brand which was Trane, but the rusted capacitor found in the unit is a Genteq… go figure… -
Last night, I was cooking in my air fryer and blew out half off the power to my house. It was not a tripped breaker and I googled electricians and Bryant was what first came up that was open. I called and spoke to an extremely nice and helpful woman (I don't remember her name!) answered some of my frantic questions and concerns and got me all set up for someone to come out this afternoon.
Ken came out to service our house today. He called me giving me a heads up when he was 45 minutes out (and he was a little early!!) which was fantastic. He was pleasant, helpful, and extremely professional. He answered all of the questions I had that did and did not pertain to the specific issue at hand. He was patient. Luckily we had a somewhat easy issue that we didn't originally know about and he was able to rework the pricing to knock me down a tier. I am incredibly appreciative and HIGHLY recommend using this company.
Thank you again to Ken and the lovely woman who spoke to me at 8:30 last night. -
Hi
First of all, I was so excited when the technician came to my house to check the AC Unit. He then told me that the capacitor is not working and will take a few seconds to replace it. Then he said the part will cost me $316 and $80 for showing up. He replaced the part collect the money and the leave. I find out after about 1 hour that the problem is not fixed. When call back, he came again and test my freon. So he find out that the system was overfilled by a different company. A capacitor cost around $50 to $70, and he changed me $316 for only a few seconds. This is ripoff by Bryant. When I called the costumer service to complain about it , she simply hangup me after I paid them $392 for not fixing my AC Unit getting too hot. I am really disappointed by the service and also the representative who hangup on me during conversations and never called me back.
That's not how you do business Bryant. -
If I were the owner of Bryant Heating and Cooling I would not want someone as dangerous as 210 (license plate C4P172) driving around with my name attached to his truck. He cut me off once on 275 with no blinker going 10 MPH slower than, and I thought that was rude but maybe he didn't see me, he then cut me off AGAIN not 4 minutes down the road on S. Gilmore without a blinker again, so I'm pretty confident this guy just doesn't know how to drive. This was on April 1st, 2025. Send him to driving school or fix his left blinker!

Bryant used to be my go-to for anything hvac. I've had them replace entire systems on multiple properties and became very loyal.
Last week, the day after listing one of my properties, I realized that the furnace and thermostat had no power. I called Bryant. Tech is there within a few hours. He Confirms that the unit is getting no power and begins to test wires/contacts until the unit magically came back on. He concludes that it was a loose connection and says that they'll email an invoice for the $80 service call. This is after 5pm on Friday 11/22.
Fast forward to Monday 11/25 and I discover the same thing. Furnace and thermostat have no power and it's about 50° inside the house.
First thing Tuesday morning I call to ask for the tech to come back out. Jade ,the lady who answered, says that she "can't schedule anything until I pay the outstanding balance from November". I laughed and said that it had only been 4 days, the problem wasn't resolved and I hadn't even received the invoice yet. She then proceeds to get attitude with me and telling me that the invoice was sent and that I needed to pay it. She seemed very focused on implying that I was trying to skip out on an $80 service call charge... while I'm requesting them to come out and do further repairs that could possibly be a few hundred dollars. All this after I've bought multiple furnaces from them over the past 5-6 years.
Now, they're not even going to get their $80 because I still haven't received an invoice for the wasted service call. And I'll never call Bryant again. -
Had an appointment set for 9/11, between 9 & 12, for a two family home I own 1.5 hours from where I live. I have a LOT going on right now but dropped everything to make sure I was there & on time. No one ever called or showed up. I called them but no one answered. They called back & left me a message about how they saw a missed call from me & they were calling back to see if I was wanting to schedule an appointment. No, absolutely not. I want to know why you wasted my time, gas & money by not coming out to the appointment we had scheduled. People are taking off work to be at these appointments... & potentially spending 3 hours of their time driving to be there for our... & you just don't bother to show up or communicate? I'd give zero stars if I could.

Furnace died on a Monday, and they had me back up and running in no time! Great service, great price and the installers were professional, quick and cleaned up!! First time I used this company but it will not be the last!

Pat was very knowledgeable and great to work with.
