I can't tell you how bad these guys suck. They're trying to charge me $14,000 plus for a repaired AC unit and new furnace. Don't deal with them if you have American Home Shield. Just don't! The guy was like, your unit is so full of hair and this is your fault. Dude my unit was older than the guy that came over to look at it. He explained nothing and offered zero solutions. Now my family have been sitting in a 95 degree condo for a week. They'll try to sweat you out until you cave. Do yourself a favor and skip them. If you have AHS, request another contractor immediately. Trust me. I should've listened to the reviews I read. Bunch of hacks and scammers.

I made the mistake of using my home warranty (American Home Shield) to file a claim to fix my AC through Fast Response. I was given a quote of $2,500 to fix my AC and neither Fast Response nor American Home Shield can give me a list of what is covered under warranty and what I’m paying out of pocket. I have been waiting for two weeks for the replacement part with no real follow-up from Fast Response. I called again today, and no one can give me any answers. I’m out $2,500. I have no idea what I’m paying for, and no one can tell me when it will be fixed. NEVER. AGAIN.

Fast response is true to their name, I had my air-conditioning fixed in less than three hours from the time I called. Happy to say this is the second great experience we’ve had with Robert who is knowledgeable and Fast ! Don’t hesitate to call them.

Dustin and Ryan came out to check our air conditioning unit and they were great. They came out on time, explained everything in a way that we can understand, and before they left they made sure we were cool and comfortable. 😎

Avoid this place or request a new one if your home warranty sticks you with them. Wait a week for a replacement blower motor to show up and be installed to find out the tech installed a used piece of junk that failed a few hours later. Looking into the furnace showed not a clean and new motor but a dirty, greasy, dusty and rusty old one that refused to spin freely. Now I'm stuck waiting even longer for someone else to tell me the blower motor is bad and likely order a new one. Just take a look for yourself. Looks like a nice new "used" and broken motor that was supposed to replace the old one but didn't even last 5 hours.

We love this company because they are very professional, informative and honest. Dustin came out to do a routine service check on our dinosaur AC unit today and was very transparent with explaining to us the issues our unit will likely face down the road due to it’s current age and what to think about for the future that would benefit us and save money.

Used this service via a homeshield plan, they were excellent. Stephen was prompt (scheduled next day, arrived early) and professional. They fixed my AC unit and gave me advice on how to keep it running smooth and how to get some other electrical work fixed.

Highly recommend!!! They are honest and trustworthy!!! One of their technicians Mark, came out and could have had a new furnace installed but all that was needed was a new thermostat. Hard to find honest companies now a days. This is an awesome group. Thank you!

The name is accurate. We had our furnace making a loud noise and I called them at 8am. I was able to get a full replacement installed and running on the same day! They offered me repair and replace options. I ended up going with the replacement for a 28 year old system. I’m still just amazed we got it on the same day I called. Especially during the cold winter months! Awesome!

I called American Home Warranty to have a tech come out. Next day the tech came out and immediately said my furnace had to be replaced and shut my heat off. It was 30°. They said I had two choices, get my furnace installed for $7k next day through them or wait 10-14 days through American Home Warranty but get a price of $2-$4k. It was freezing so they basically knew they had me in a bad spot. I paid the money but I'm pretty sure there was some shadiness going on and know I was getting takened. Had it been warmer I would have absolutely shopped around because I really think they do what they can to screw people over and not help with solutions. Even my installer, who was amazing, said he couldn't continue in sales seeing how badly they gouge people. Its unfortunate a company has an opportunity to help and instead take a bad situation and make it worst just because they can. Definitely do your homework before going with them. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the installer was top rated. Definitely dropping American Home Warranty if this is the quality of a company they want to be associated with.

We needed to replace the entire system. They made the process as painless as possible.

Robert with FR was very professional and thorough with investigating the issue with the blower with a newly installed furnace that was placed yesterday. He was explained everything that was going on and fixed the matter within 20 minutes! I love that this company is Christian Family based company with affordable memberships.

Ryan and Dustin were very professional and kind. They took the time to explain options, and made sure that I understood the Air Conditioning system well. Recommend them to anyone experiencing HVAC issues.

Fast Response has been to my house several times over the past few years, and each time the technician is very polite, knowledgeable, and gets our issue resolved quickly. Stephen was here today and did a great job diagnosing the issue and explaining it to me. I will always stick with this company.

Pretty much worst HVAC experience ever

We were forced to use them by our warranty company

1. For starters, there is no office/way to contact if you’re being serviced in the DFW area. Good luck with communication

2. Tech showed up 12 hours late to scheduled appt

3. They also told us to shut system down the night before (during a heat advisory)

Reasons 2 + 3… ouch. Gets worse though.

4. Tech diagnosed the issue as a valve leak and Freon shortage. Guess what. Their Freon cost over 2X above market average. Left us feeling preyed upon

5. After we politely declined to be ripped off, the tech didn’t even screw the part back on all the way, leading to more Freon lost

Also cancelling our home warranty - American Home Shield. This is not the only poor review of this contractor. Can’t trust a warranty company with bad contractors

Our A/C unit recently went out, we thought it was just the fan but it was the whole system. Dustin and Ryan sat down with us and explain to us what was wrong and walked us through everything we needed to know to start the process of getting a new A/C unit. They were very professional and informative, their assistance and knowledge was very appreciated. They made the process very quick, easy and painless.

Robert came out to fix my AC Unit. This man knows what he’s doing, had the unit running within 20 minutes. He is a very personable and knowledgeable guy. Overall it was an awesome experience. I will be using this company for all of my HVAC needs in the future.
