I have received good and reliable service from Tarvin over the past couple of years. They have been friendly, fast and easy to work with. They did not do more work than was necessary and tried to estimate the cost and get approval before doing the work. Their prices were not a bargain but were fair.

I can't begin to say how wonderful this company is! I called them this morning after being without water for EIGHT days because of a botched job by another plumbing company that my home warranty company uses. I told Veronica at Tarvin what the problem was, she had me send photos of the water heater and venting and said she would try and have somebody at my house today or tomorrow for installation. An hour later she has somebody who can pick up the water heater I need and can install it today. Brent arrives and was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to install the water heater and make the necessary modifications in four hours. He went over everything he did and explained it thoroughly. Yes, it was a hefty price tag but a check that I was happy to write after having an EIGHT DAY nightmare without water thanks to another incompetent plumbing company. You definitely get what you pay for. I also learned in this process to drop the home warranty company I had because it is a scam. When ever I need a plumber in the future, Tarvin is who I will call!! Thanks so much Veronica and Brent-you guys are lifesavers!!!!

Tarvin was wonderful! We were selling our house and had a sewer pipe burst. My wife and I don't handle stress well and they were very prompt, courteous and the price was pretty good as well. I would highly recommend Tarvin Plumbing. I have used their services twice and been completely satisfied. Dave and his assistant arrived on time and repaired a section of pipe quickly leaving no mess at all. They were courteous and efficient and the price came in at the estimated cost I was given. Tarvin Plumbing did my total kitchen renovation. From demolition to installation and everything in between, the job was done efficiently and with tremendous skill by friendly and courteous workers. The work was completed on time and exactly the way I wanted. I still use Tarvin (and have for over 25 years) for my plumbing needs and would not hesitate to have them do another renovation.

I have used Tarvin Plumbing for a few plumbing issues throughout the years...I have always had great service and value from them. Today I had Phil come and replace a leaky shut off valve for the dishwasher and I also had Phil replace the shut off valves at the meter. Phil is very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable...Phil has also replace a garbage disposal in the past for me...I am planning some bathroom upgrades/remodel and I will without a doubt be using Tarvin Plumbing; especially Phil...

Had Tarvin come out for a clogged PVC pipe for the washing machine unit. There initially was some confusion because water pressure was checked which might have led to a water heater leak that started soon after. They came out again free of charge and they refunded me for the original visit because of the water heater leak that they were able to fix.

Mark Tarvin came out the second time and explained everything in great detail and also gave me competitive quotes on replacing the appropriate malfunctioning equipment.

At the end of the day what you want is accountability and professionalism in a company, and you definitely have that with Tarvin. Would recommend them to friends/family.

Tarvin was there when we needed a qualified plumber to install a gas line for a kitchen range . We tried another plumber that never got back to us with a bid . Not cool . We had a comparable bid one week , next week DONE . My wife is very happy with her new gas range . 5 star in my book .

Tarvin Plumbing was extremely responsive and professional when our old hot water heater died. The morning after it died, I called Tarvin and they were at my home with a new hot water heater TWO HOURS later! They were efficient in installing it. There was a weld that did not hold, and they came quickly when we discovered that and fixed it quickly. Their pricing was fair. Tarvin will be our plumber from now on.

Fixed our broken and leaky bathtub faucet quickly and efficiently. They told us the fees and hourly rates before anyone came out. Everything looks so much better now - they really went above and beyond. We'll soon be scheduling our water heater replacement with Tarvin.

Tarvin Plumbing has been great to work with. They are very thorough and responsive. Appointments were easy to make, and they were on time for all of them. We hired them for repairs in our master bathroom, and were very happy with the work done, so we had them back to complete more work on the exterior of our house. Highly recommend!

Hired Tarvin because I’ve just effing had it with the upselling and gouging that is commonplace with the big advertise-y companies. Tarvin came out promptly when they said they would, efficiently fixed what was broken, and charged me a fair price.

Excellent service from Tarvin Plumbing! I had a job that required some special parts, and Mark was able to track down everything that was needed so I could get my leak fixed as soon as possible. The repair was done quickly and professionally, and I was impressed with both the work and the overall customer service from Mark and Matt. I highly recommend Tarvin!

Summary: Tarvin Plumbing performed two full bathroom remodels + sewer repair for me last year, and they were the trifecta of everything a homeowner wants: On time, on budget, and wonderful quality. They were also professional, friendly, and left everything spotless. Pricing was fair & reasonable with no surprises. I will definitely use them again for future plumbing needs. Highly recommend!

Detail: I had two bathrooms on the small side where I worried that most contractors wouldn't think it was their while - I should not have worried. Tarvin came in and did an assessment of both bathrooms and provided a detailed quote [rip out everything, retile shower, retile floors, install new toilets, install new cabinets, install new lighting] with no pressure...and then I sat on it for eight months while I decided if this was right for me.

When I finally called them up, and they didn't miss a beat. They assisted me with making the bathroom selections and then laid out a detailed timeline for each step. I paid in increments as each phase was finished. It went like clockwork: from demolition to plastering to wiring to tiling and the final installations. The only hiccup was a small chip in the bathtub, which they made right, right away.

A year later and everything is still exactly as it should be. There are no leaks, twitchy lights, loose tiles, bad grout, etc. Their workmanship has had held up perfectly.

Exceptionally happy with the work Phil from Tarvin Plumbing did. I called on Monday about my garbage disposal and a leaking out door faucet. I was given an estimate on cost which was right on the money. I was given the option of a scheduled appointment on Friday or they could probably fit me in Tuesday or Wednesday. They called on Tuesday and Phil and his helper showed up 20 minutes later. I liked that Phil explained what he was doing as he worked. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I would recommend Tarvin Plumbing and Phil with no hesitation.

We hired Tarvin Plumbing to fix a small leak in my parent's basement copper piping, and we were thoroughly impressed with the service. Matt, our plumber, was efficient, friendly, and professional throughout the entire process. Not only did he quickly fix the leak, but he also initiated the process for an estimate on a bathtub-to-shower conversion, which was a great bonus.

Hired Tarvin Plumbing to fix two plumbing issues in my home, one issue involving replacement of drain lever in my tub due to rusted screws. The man got into my tub to view the issue but did Not even remove his shoes or even put shoe covers on. He determined that he was unable to fix that issue since he didn't have the tools available or even the know how to fix it. Since he couldn't fix that issue, I showed him the other issue (Installation of a utility tub and faucet) of which I already purchased and had available, the (Faucet, Utility Tub and hookups). He determined that he could Not fix those issues. However He had No problem giving me the bill for the time he spent too determine that he could not do Any of the tasks I confronted him with. In addition to that unsatisfactory performance, he left me with greasy hand prints and terrible scuff marks in my Tub and shower walls. I don't expect my review will be shown. I will Never recommend Tarvin Plumbing.
