Have never really settled on a plumber we love since we'd bought this home - so many seem much more interested in selling programs than servicing issues - but I feel really good about Hofmeyer after this first call. They were recommended by a friend and I'm pleased with the service we've received. They responded relatively quickly, provided preliminary guidance via email, and Chris was professional and courteous. He reinstalled a garbage disposal and installed a new toilet. I'd happily call Hofmeyer again.

Had a great experience with the 2 gentleman who came to help with our toilet situation and water coming thru ceiling. They were Very professional even with dealing with my husband who is hard of hearing. They were very clear at explaining things and worked hard to try to get to the bottom of what the actual issue was. Toilets now flush perfectly, no more stopped up sinks or tub! Thank you for fitting us into your busy schedule today. I highly recommend them and Will definitely call them fo my future plumbing needs

Called Hofmeyer to repair hot water and valves to sink faucet. Hank and trainee came out promptly, did an AWESOME job and even fixed some other issues I asked them to look at, all for a great price and everything looked professional and cleaned up after they finished. I also have to mention that their phone call with me was honest and professional and Hank was super friendly. HIGHLY recommended!!

Often times it's hard to cypher thru the good and the bad of home services companies available online, especially if you are unfamiliar with the town you're trying to locate services in. I had to suffer thru a couple bad ones before I luckily stumbled upon Hofmeyer. These people are fair, honest, and professional. I have now used their services twice and both times they exceeded my expectations. I will recommend Hofmeyer to anyone who asks. A++++++++++

I needed a hot water heater expansion tank replaced in order to sell my townhome and Hofmeyer was the only company that provided me with a 'cost range' over the phone for this very simple repair. I had contacted 15+ other companies that all required a 'service call' be made before any price could be provided. Of course, the service call alone is $99--which allows for a company to charge an egregious amount for a small repair as you are already on the hook for the service call amount.

Hofmeyer is a 2nd generation company, and clearly from their interactions with me, they understand and appreciate an honest approach to business. The price was fair, performed quickly, and their communication along the way, outstanding! What else could you want from any service company?

I've used their services twice, once I had to pay and once I did not. Let me explain.

First time was moving into a new home, I wanted to get 6 faucets replaced. They did it quickly and cleanly, walkthrough was spot on. No complaints. Where I really have come to appreciate their services was recently we had a question on a recurring smell issue. I emailed them to get an appointment scheduled. They sent back some recommendations for things we could try before having them come out which was amazing. Their suggestions worked which saved us a few hundred bucks, they reply so quick and clearly care about the end consumer. Highly recommend!

My family had a plumbing emergency this week. Josh from Max Hofmeyer Plumbing came out today to fix the issue and did a wonderful job. He was pleasant and thorough. We highly recommend Hofmeyer for your plumbing needs!

Great value. Perfect balance of Quality, Speed, Price triangle. Reasonable price accompanied with professionalism, skill, responsiveness, communication. I trust them so much now that I don’t even ask for a quote ahead of time and that’s the way it should be when you have a reliable and trustworthy service company. I just know it’s going to be a fair price and that they will get it done the right way. If you have multiple items then they bundle it in an economical way for you. They are a company that wants to build a long term relationship with the customer unlike some of these other marketing heavy service companies that rely on inconsistent pricing, customer desperation and standard cost trickery. Hofmeyer cares about repeat business.

Jason came to our house and was so professional. He instantly was personable and assured us he could help the issue we were having. He worked until he was able to solve the problem. We were so thankful. His knowledge and experience was very obvious as he determined the best plan. He was on time, we received timely communication and very satisfied with our service.

There was a severe blockage in my toilet drain pipe. The pipe was replaced in the floor, but it did not help. Jason Burrows was sent to clear the drain and worked vigorously several hours until the drain was running clear. He did an excellent job and an excellent cleanup and the toilet is flushing properly now without backing up and everything is fine. I highly recommend him for any job you might have concerning plumbing. He did great work and was great to talk with. I am very satisfied with the work.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with a recent service visit related to a water leak from the ceiling in my kitchen, which was damaging the drywall.

A technician came to inspect the issue and charged me $370 to open a hole in the drywall, identify the cause of the leak, and provide details about the problem. I was informed that this amount would also cover any further inspection or repairs, with the value being deducted from the total cost if additional services were required. I agreed to this under the assumption that I would receive a complete diagnosis of the issue.

However, the technician was unable to determine the source of the problem and did not provide me with any explanation or details. He then called in another technician from the “water team,” who performed some humidity readings with special equipment, but also left without giving me a report or any information about the root cause. He simply stated he couldn’t find the issue and left.

In the end, I was charged $370 solely for having a hole made in my ceiling, and I still have the same water problem with no diagnosis, no report, and no clear next steps. This experience was completely unsatisfactory and does not reflect the level of professionalism and service I expected.

I respectfully request a review of this case and appropriate action, which may include a refund or further service at no additional charge to properly assess and resolve the issue.

Service was requested to take care of a drainage problem in the kitchen sink. Technicians came in on the same day, “removed” the clog, confirmed the flow of water for 20 minutes and left. Charge was $480. Two days later problem repeated. Same crew came back, not happy that they had to come in. Did the same things again. Finally they said “this is a ventilation problem” not drainage. Well, one cannot be separated from the other. Temporary restoration of the flow was probably related to air getting in the pipes during cleaning process. Bottomline, they are not competent to solve a basic plumbing problem.

Jason was so very helpful today!! We just moved in and are having drainage issues and he was able to point me in the right direction and show me where all of my water sources led out to, thank you so so so much!!
