Richie is the real deal. Needed an emergency furnace repair the day before leaving town and he was able to come that afternoon. I learned a ton about my HVAC system, he fixed what needed fixed (plus a gas line issue he discovered), and we discussed ideas for refurbishing/replacement in the future if needed. Will be calling Richie for any and all HVAC needs in the future.

I have been using Richie as my heating & cooling guy for 4 years now, both for my business and my house. He is very honest, fair, and goes out of his way to take care of his customers. He is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him to anyone, you can't go wrong with him and his services!! Thank you Richie!!

Richie did a super clean job at my son's house on a new furnace a year ago and gave him a
call this week at 7.30 am stating my 1973 furnace wasn't working and they showed up late afternoon, had a motor and capacitor on truck and had heat better than before by 5pm. I'm guessing "the other guys" would not have been able to fix an old furnace due to parts and would have tried to sell me a new furnace. We discussed pros and cons objectively for a new furnace and other system upgrades. Wealth of wisdom with Ohio City Heating and Cooling that goes a long ways when an HVAC system needs diagnosed. Also was willing to walk around the house to offer advice and answer all my questions. Fair pricing and amazing service. 5 stars plus.

Richie is great! We needed a little bit of duct work replaced and he was quick to come over and help us figure it out. He was super kind and helpful and he also went above and beyond -- patiently spending time answering our questions about stuff that wasn't even related to the job we'd hired him for. This guy knows houses!!! When we have HVAC needs in the future, we know who to call! Thanks so much, Richie!

I can't recommend Ohio City Heating and cooling enough. My heat went out and they showed up the day of my call and restored heat to my house while being professional, courteous and all around nice.

We have been having issues with our AC the last few years. We have had multiple companies come out and paid thousands of dollars and it still wasn’t functioning properly. I am so happy a friend referred Ohio City. He is so knowledgeable and found the root cause of the issue which fixed our air!!!! He was also very affordable, thank you so much and we will definitely call should we ever have another issue!

We've been having problems with our AC unit.We called Ohio City Heating and Cooling and they came out the same day, which was a blessing because it's been very hot. Rick and his technician immediately diagnosed the problem and provided a solution. They were courteous, respectful and Rick described in detail, why the issue happened and what they were going to do to fix it. They were very honest and straightforward with us on our AC unit and we greatly appreciated the work they did. This is the 3rd time we've used Ohio City Heating and Cooling and HIGHLY recommend this company.

Of course our air had to stop working during one of the hottest weekends of the year! Ohio City was able to fix the issue quickly! He was so friendly and very affordable. We look forward to working with him if any other issues come up and highly recommend him to anyone else in need!

Richie was absolutely phenomenal. He came out in the middle of a very cold night to fix my furnace, showing incredible dedication. His extensive knowledge and thorough approach made diagnosing and fixing my challenging issue seem effortless. He answered all my questions in a professional manner. All of this was done at an extremely fair price. Highly recommend!

Richie is so awesome, from my first contact with him on the phone, to him coming right over to repair my furnace. He found the problem and advised me of other needed repairs to be done at a later date. He was very fair and wasn't trying to scam me.

No hot water, water leaking from the hot water tank…no problem for Ohio City Heating! I got Richie’s number from a trusted friend and he came that same day! Unfortunately I needed my water tank replaced…fortunately Richie was available to help and I was back up and running in one weekend. He was quick and professional and left things extremely neat! Highly recommend!

Richie and his team came up clutch for us during last Christmas season. Last Christmas Eve our furnace went out and Richie (OCH) was the only company to pick up our call. He was able to come out 2 days later and did all the work.
He and his team did an amazing job and the price was very reasonable.
They were great to have around the house. It felt like family was over doing work on the house.

Our furnace failed at the beginning of a recent winter storm. Richey came out during the weekend multiple times to diagnose and fix the problem, minimizing the amount of time we were out of heat. He was attentive and checked in multiple times after the repair to make sure it continued to get the job done. Highly recommend!

I own a rental property in Lakewood. The heating went out when it was 20 degrees outside on a Saturday morning. I called Richie (recommended by a friend of mine) and he went out to the house within a few hours. He called me with to explain that a gas valve had gone bad on the heater and then spent the entire afternoon driving to go get the part (of which came from a store that had to open specifically for him) and then her returned, fixed the heater and even told me of a few other concerns he had that I might want to get looked at. The house had gone down to 50 degrees and he saved the day for me...and my renters. I called my referral source and told him how pleased I was with Richie, his professionalism and his kindness. I don't usually write reviews but would love to recommend him to anyone that has any heating / cooling issues. You will not be disappointed!

The guys at Ohio City Heating and Cooling did it again. I have worked with Richie for a number of years and he provides excellent customer service.

One of the furnaces at my rental property went out in the middle of the night and Richie provided an immediate response. He was onsite within hours and provided a temporary solution until his team could source a new furnace.

The new furnace was installed the next day and he had my tenants warm and toasty. He then checked in numerous times to ensure everything functioned properly. He also completed all of the warranty documentation and emailed it over.

Richie was very professional and punctual. He showed up and went above and beyond! He replaced a part in our furnace and charged a reasonable price. Richie was honest and informative about other areas of concern. This meant a lot to us because he did not have to provide the extra information- he could have just completed the job and left. But no, Richie walked us through each step of his process and left no stone unturned. Everything happens for a reason. We are grateful to become new customers and Richie has earned our future business, hands down!

Been dealing with a furnace issue for about a week. Finally called Richie and he made the schlep to Medina County and took care of the problem.
Pleasant, professional and easy going. Didn't force feed me any repairs that didn't need done. He gets a permanent position in my phones contact list.

Richie is amazing! On the Sunday of July 4th weekend, our hot water heater broke. He installed a new unit within a few hours. It was incredible service and very reasonably priced for the situation.

He is always very responsive, helpful, and thorough. He has also helped us with furnace repair. Again, he is always timely and reasonable.

I would give him 6 stars if I could!

Richie was able to come look at an old furnace on a Saturday that had stopped working in my house. He diagnosed it, and was able to repair and replace parts in the same visit making sure that it continued working reliably before he left. He is extremely knowledgably, and took the time to explain what was wrong, and gave recommendations on what could be done in the future. I will be replacing this furnace soon, and Richie will be the person I go to for the job! 100% recommend.
