I just had a wonderful experience with this organization. After receiving quotes recommending that I replace a 1990s boiler at a cost of $17,000, Kevin from RJ shoed up as my third opinion and got our boiler running for less than $300. Yes, maybe a 30 year old boiler should be replaced, but it didn't have to be. It makes sense to use smaller HVAC companies going forward.

Bill was terrific -- very personable, knowledgeable and thorough. I will look forward to seeing him again next year for my annual check-up.

RJ was great to work with and very reasonable. I called first thing Monday morning for a furnace issue and they were able to get me the earliest appointment available (the same day!) by letting me know when schedules changed and availability opened up. All of their staff were super nice and knowledgeable. Once the technician came out, they quickly identified the problem, left briefly to get the parts they needed, and the furnace was fixed 2 hours later. We were really worried about having no heat going into a snow storm and RJ made it a non issue!

UPDATE TO OWNER'S RESPONSE AND FOLLOW UP RESPONSE:

Your business represented they would need to come out to measure for a new furnace install. No inspection, load calculations or measurements were taken as they only wanted the model and serial number which was previously provided to them. I wasted my time and gas meeting them after they had no intention to perform the represented necessity for coming out. To now misrepresent that measurements weren't needed doesn't align nor does the excuse of needing visual confirmation of the model and installation method. The model number identifies the series along with the installation method. Without measurements and load calculations, installing a unit with higher output could lead to a malpractice claim.

The estimate was poorly written and failed to identify the model number of the proposed furnace. Providing only the brand name is vague, and your business is aware of that. As for your claim of exact factory replacement, I am without sufficient information to form a belief after communicating with famous supply.

Nevertheless, to suggest that I did not request further detail or documentation upon request is misleading. Mr. Broda received my communication on 12/10/2024, and in part corrected the misstated heat ex changer warranty period from 15 to 20 years.

The Management and training of Mr. Broda and the rest of your employees is clearly your responsibility.

Despite this, your business was contacted about the estimators lack of clarity and disregard after quoting and warned we were considering walking away. A response was promised by the next morning. No one had ever followed up

It's telling that under some theory, you now feel entitled to a future business relationship. I have moved on from the horse and pony show.

My records of communication especially with Mr. Broda doesn't support your response, as such your claim of misunderstanding clearly lacks merit.

Joe and his assistant did an incredible job in installing an entire new HVAC system (2-stage furnace with air purifier and humidifier, and new AC). They were overly communicative, on time each day, super friendly, worked extremely hard, answered all my questions, etc. Joe specifically takes a lot of pride in his work, which I very much appreciated. RJ HVAC is worth the money, please take my word for it. Unfortunately, I learned that the hard way after paying someone's "guy" to install a new furnace and three months later, having to replace it because it was so oversized and improperly installed. Joe, thank you for the professional work.

This is an excellent company. Everyone at this company is friendly and very helpful! This is the second time we have used this company for a major installation. They gave us a fair quote for replacement of our hot water tank which we really appreciate. Eric (Sales Rep) was very helpful and answered all of our questions. David (Service technician) was very thorough during the installation process and left the area clean after completing the installation.

Justin came out for a service call and was thorough, thoughtful and made sure I understood the problem and was fast to resolve it.

Quick and friendly service to get my heat back on in the middle of a record-breaking cold spell when other contractors were backed up for days. I can't speak highly enough about these guys!

Fast service, reasonably priced. I had a small issue with my air conditioner/furnace. I called at 7:30 am and left a message with the off-hours service. Someone called around 8:45 and they sent someone over by 9:15. Wish I caught the guy’s name but I didn’t! Anyway the technician came over, fixed the issue and looked over some other things to suggest how to maintain my home. I really appreciated it.

We had Justin out today to get our AC back up and running, the whole experience with him was a pleasure. He worked quickly to get us up and running again. Even while walking me through what he was doing to teach me a thing or two. He was friendly and extremely professional. Would recommend him 10/10 times!

Called these guys to hook up heated floors in my garage. They showed up, did the work, cleaned up, called the next day to see how things were running and came back a few days later to verify all is good. I highly recommend.

I can not recommend R.J. or their employee Justin enough. I had someone else come out and tell me deadly CO2 was leaking into my home and I needed a new boiler. The other company has worked on my home for years and was here to do a cleaning. Justin came here for a second opinion. I did not need a new boiler he only had to slow the flow of gas down coming into the home. All my future dealings with my boiler and AC will be with R.J. They have an excellent maintenance program and I will be utilizing and I have already recommended them to a neighbor. GREAT COMPANY AND GREAT SERVICE. Thank You!!

Thanksgiving Eve, our furnace went out. It was snowing and wicked cold. Literally one of the coldest nights this winter thus far. We were panicking, about to cancel plans, load up all the animals and head to a hotel. RJ’s was my first call. My after hours call was answered and help was coming. The technician found the issue right away and had it fixed within hours!!! I followed it up with a full furnace inspection that Monday, just to make sure nothing else was about to go. Bill did an awesome job. He explained everything clearly to my understanding. If I could give them 100 ⭐️’s, I would. RJ’s went above and beyond to make sure our holiday was saved and our furnace is ready to take on the rest of winter.
