Appliance Repair reviews in Columbus, Ohio

Correct parts received, in good packaging. I would order again from them.
-
Horrible service, said they would fix my equipment twice. When I call them back and say no one showed up they said it was too busy and I'm scheduled for today, and yet no one shows up.
-
They had exactly the part I needed! Shipping was very fast and product was exactly what I ordered.

As a business owner myself, I take customer complaints seriously. They don't.
-
All ok with customer service, payment and refund etc. Only problem was that the parts were not in stock and never shipped from vender in one week. Had to cancel my order and refund.
-
based on the input of my model no. of the appliance and proved with a schematic I had no problem identifying the part no. and placing the order. Once placed the order was received on time. I had it installed by 900am the next morning.

CPS is the best! I go to them for all my restaurant equipment repairs.

Great place for parts for commercial kitchen equipment. Staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They keep a lot of common parts in stock and can special order items they don't have on hand.
-
Arrived faster then estimated shipping date. Price was comparable to any other online source I found if not less. Packed perfect. Easy website to navigate and product was perfect fit.
-
CPS website was easy to shop on; the product was as described and the email contact and shipping were faster than I expected. Great company!

Do not take your equipment to them. They’re thieves and will destroy your equipment before they give it back to you. They’re very unprofessional in regards to communication. They said they would call and they didn’t. Once arrived they attempted to bill us and lost an essential piece needed for our machine when we tried to take it back. They attempted to overcharge us and didn’t even find the issue with our machine. They have no clue what they’re doing. Thieves and will waste your time!

I was so excited to find a shop close to home that could repair my high school's popcorn machine. I dropped it off and the employee asked if I wanted a estimate before they did any work on it. I said "Yes, I didn't want any surprises.' A few days later I received a email that the machine was repaired and I owed $309. I emailed them back ,to say that no one had called me with a estimate or what needed to be repaired. I received no response. The next day I went in and asked a employee who was helping me why I didn't get a call about a estimate. I felt like I didn't have any options on what I wanted to do. He replied by saying he could take off the new parts if I wanted too. I just wanted to get out of there by this point. I asked for the paperwork and he set if down and walked away from me. I called him back to see if he could at least tell me what they repaired and what the money went too. The machine is now working although he said they also cleaned the popcorn kettle, but all they did was scrape it with a screwdriver. I guess customer service is just not that important.

Jen did a tremendous job of orchestrating ordering my needed part from the supplier and, when received, making sure it got to me.In ordering a follow on part, she was knowledgable, personable, and professional. Great go to person at CPS. r/Andrew Hammond, Captain, US Navy (retired)

The igniter for my oven quit very unexpectedly. Attempts to contact the business where the stove was purchased were unsuccessful. Shopping for a replacement part led me to Commercial Parts & Service. Searching the website for the exact part was very easy and ordering was painless. The part was delivered quickly (within 2 days) and my oven is back to working. I will most definitely use CPS in the future if and when my stove requires more parts. Thank you!

Our experience with ordering american made slush machines has been great. However, when ordering international slush machines not very happy. For example, we received a 2-weeks later notification that the gears that we wanted were a higher price than the web advertised one and they didn't have them in stock after all.

Ordered some restaurant parts from them because they seemed cheaper paid the estimated shipping etc. Waited 4 weeks and they called back saying i owed them 200+ additional dollars for shipping because the items were large. That is actually what i was told, not a price just 200+ is what i would be charged. At this point we didn't have much of a choice because we had already been waiting on this for 4 weeks and paid them a lot of money for it so we said go ahead. After receiving the part we received another bill for 167 dollars. I called to figure out why i was receiving this bill and they said it was an error and they would take care of it. Waited another month and received another past due statement. So i called back and was told that the bill was correct because I needed a lift gate because I didn't have a forklift. No, "restaurant supply company" my restaurant doesn't have its own forklift. So now I have paid 400+ in shipping for a part that could have fit in the bed of a truck. Should have ordered anywhere else now I know.

On the mark! I ordered 2 seals for my Hamilton Beach Brew Station and received them in a couple of days and at a great price. No one else had them so you can guess how happy I was when I found them through CPS. Great service!

I just want to say what a great job Joe S. did on our service call for two critical equipment pieces.
He definitely deserves a FIVE STAR rating:
Professionalism
Knowledge
Skill
Preparedness
Communication
. . . . and any other way you can measure his performance.
Should we ever need another service call I will specifically request Joe if he is available.
Thank you CPS and Thank you Joe!! -
This place is a total joke. I honestly recommend calling your local handyman before calling these people. We had a work order placed and was quoted 2 weeks before they could be on site. I called at 4 weeks, and they lost my work order so then had to wait another week before someone could make it to the property just to say they had no idea how to fix it and they needed to do some research. Then I start receiving emails from some law firm in Texas stating that cps has lost all trust in us and that we have severely damaged our relationship threatening us with legal action over a 1900$ bill. They have a card on file, as they won't show up without one. They even had our business with the wrong name. I reached out to cps to make sure there was a card on file and that we were current on payments. Now 2 weeks later I'm still receiving threatening emails from the law firm even after my bill has been paid, in full, for weeks now. Please stay FAR away from they're service dept.

My review of 1 star is no reflection of the technician that was dispatched to evaluate our commercial Bunn coffeemaker. He was very professional and did a great job.
As I was looking for a company to do some maintenance on our machine, I found CPS and noted that we were within their "service area". I made contact by phone, inquired about getting our machine serviced, set up an account, and waited for a call back to schedule a time. Nothing was ever mentioned about "travel time" from their facility to our location.
The technician notified me on 10/23/24 that he was leaving a job and was "20 minutes away" and would this be a convenient time to stop. Of course I accepted. The check of our machine was minimal. Everything was functioning properly and no work was needed on the machine.
That afternoon, I received an email invoice for $409.50. I expected to pay labor ($71.00) and a service call ($90.00). I did not, however, expect to pay $248.50 in "Travel Time" (an hour and 45 minutes).
I called CPS and was told that was round trip travel time from their facility to my location and that the price of everything is going up, etc., etc. . . .
So, my question is, did they charge the service call ahead of me for an hour and 45 minutes travel time in addition to charging me for the same time frame?
I get it, the price is the price; however, had I been notified ahead of time that there would be travel time charged by the minute, I would NOT have requested service from CPS. When the website indicated that my location was within their service area, I assumed ours was a normal location for them to travel to. Had I been outside of that area, I would have expected "Travel Time" charges.
I cannot recommend this company as I believe their business practices to be poor and deceptive. If you are considering using CPS, ask for a specific quote for "Travel Time" to your location. -
Worst Service Experience: Appliances Damaged and Property Stolen (Filing Lawsuit)
Worst service experience ever. I dealt with Commercial Parts & Service for months to repair a mixer and an oven. The technicians failed to make any useful repairs and actively worsened the situation.
1. Mixer Destruction: The mixer only needed a simple part, but due to the technician's faulty reassembly, it is now completely destroyed (internal cracking and smoking), forcing me to buy a new one.
2. Property Theft/Conversion: They took 2-3 original oven parts and then illegally disposed of them without my authorization or consent.
3. Total Disregard: They ignored my formal demands for compensation (despite admitting fault by canceling the invoice) and refused to respond to the Ohio Attorney General's official complaint.
I am now filing a lawsuit in Small Claims Court to seek full compensation for the destruction of my property. Avoid this company—they cause damage, they don't repair!
