Where do l begin besides the quality of work that had to be redone with the furnace. The MOST important thing EVERYONE should know are the FEES they LIE about that are not covered by your home warranty. Question everything if you live in Ohio there are NO FEES or PERMITS or Code FEES , NO Carbon Monoxide Detector fee , NO Thermostat fee for air conditioners or furnace installation. They will tell you to pay $250 EACH for thermostat and carbon monoxide detectors and $250 to $$275 for permits and fees $50 for codes etc .So please beware and l am reporting them to the Attorney General Office as well .Again so that l am clear with everyone there are no permits or fees for heating or cooling in Ohio . I called and verified everything l am telling you . Your new furnace comes with thermostat already included in the box. Your air conditioner comes with everything included as well. You don’t need to pay for carbon monoxide detector it’s NOT mandatory unless you want one . If you do want one BUY your OWN for $25 at Lowe’s or Home Depot. I caught them with their deceitful business practices. I hope to save people the stress of being taken advantage of when so many people are struggling to take care of their families due to COVID-19. And this company wants to price gauge and cause more stress and take your money that you need to support your household . If you were charged any of any of these items which would have cost you almost an extra $700 call Attorney General and file a complaint!

BEWARE OF ALL THE POSITIVE FAKE REVIEWS. Do not use AIRFAST Heating & Cooling. We had a terrible experience with them. Upon payment, the technician didn't ask for all the information needed to process payment, although he left anyway. It was a big ordeal and random people were calling asking for personal information over the phone. We eventually received an invoice in the mail MONTHS later and they made us pay a late fee. Terrible service.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...They are as about as friendly as a BRICK!! The SECOND repairman that they sent out (after the first one only ordered a SINGLE part for our washer that was broken down - the second repairman didn't understand WHY he would've ordered a SINGLE part out of the TRIO parts that are normally ordered for my washer) was the only one that knew what he was doing!! We bent over BACKWARDS trying to be understanding to representatives and NO response - they just didn't care!

Wow wow wow! 1ST tech came out to fix the issue of water leaking from the furnace. Said the coils were tilted. Turned on the a/c later that day and smelled burning coming from the vents. The water had leaked onto the blower causing it to be fried. Week and a half later 2ND tech came out with a trainer lady. She was on her phone facebooking the whole time. Me and the tech made small talk. He replaced the blower fan and that was it. I asked them to check the water drainage as that was the original issue. They lady took time away from her phone to dump a few glasses of water down the service line and said it may be clogged but not sure and then they left because it wasnt on their work order they weren't doing it. So they ran the unit a few minutes and then left. The next day the a/c came on and water leaked again. Called them again and they sent a tech. The 3rd tech said that the coil drain pan was cracked and that the coils need replaced. Waited a few days and called several times to Air Fast. They kept telling us that the parts are on order or that they were waiting to here from the manufacturer (both bs) and they were awaiting approval from AHS (more bs). Called today and their story was the same. Then I get a call from another heating place asking to schedule service. We said no we have Air Fast sent by our AHS home warranty. So we called Air Fast again, they said they are still waiting. Called AHS and they said that Air Fast refused service due to the fact we were rude ( i guess calling to get the status of parts is rude). So even knowing this they lied directly to us and AHS. Pathetic. The lady was very unprofessional and rude.

Do not use this company. Feel bad for the 2nd tech who was on his first day with this lady and for the 3rd tech who seemed like he knew his skill.

Run away and use someone else unless you like being lied to and have money taken from you.

As of now been with out A/C for close to a month anf a half.

I needed a new furnace according to the estimate of the warranty company as a result of a carbon monoxide leak detected from my smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in our home. This “company” told me I Had to take the new thermostat and a carbon monoxide detector even though they are not faulty and led me to the discovery. They are charging me for them which was not covered under the warranty program. Now they’re trying to charge me interest for these, the technician was told to leave them even though there was nothing wrong with the thermostat and the carbon Monoxide detectors in my home was what led me to believe that there is a problem with the furnace
The weather is now warmer and I had to pay another company for a service call because when they installed the new furnace they forgot to hook up the air conditioner inside the furnace so there was no electricity going to the air-conditioner
Worst customer service- the females in the office have severe issues with how to treat customers, the business should be shut down if you look at all the bad reviews. I think I’m going to file a class action suit if applicable .

Involved with this company thru my home warranty.....1 tech (Tom) diagnosed, another (Dave) installed new appliance. I would give both 4 or 5 stars but not company. It took 18 days from call to warranty company to installation....some of delay due to airfast not getting diagnosis to warranty company in a timely manner. The old appliance was taken to curb with explanation that a separate vehicle would pick up SAME day. Oops...was still there NEXT day.....called warranty company to complain. No wonder this company has few stars in their reviews.

We can not say enough about the wonderful response we received from everyone at Air Fast! Our Hot water heater went out on Sunday Mothers Day. We contacted 2-10 warranty and they sent us to Air-fast and by Wednesday we had our new Hot Water tank installed, We would recommend Air fast to anyone who needs quick and great service!

So far so good.... came out as scheduled last Friday. Great service for initial consult. Said my furnace is condemned. It’s covered under home warranty but if it isn’t covered 100% then I might need a second opinion. I really hope they pull through to make this is an even better experience. If so, I’ll know who to call in need. I’ll make another review upon completion of work.

In a very short summary, they replaced my furnace unit. After this, there installer did not install this unit successfully (according to the next guy that they sent out). This unseccesful install cause water to leak across my entire laundry room floor. I was left to clean this entire room which included ripping out the entire floor and cleaning all the black mold that it caused. From this, they decided that $250.00 was enough for any repair that was needed. After showing them all the evidence and their repairman came to reassess and said it was there fault, they wanted to take no ownership of the problem and left me out to dry. Additionally, the office was so unprofessional that they made the decision to have me work through there technician for the overall issue of who is accountable. There front office wasn’t wanting to deal with this so they just pawned it off. An example of how poor this company was, there repairman wasn’t ever supplied with correct ductwork tape (metal kind) but instead was supplied with black tape which was a tape between duct tape and gorilla tape. Overall one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with.

This place is a complete joke. If your warranty company wants to use them, tell them NO! Technicians came out to diagnose/repair my dishwasher…2 months later it’s still not fixed and to top it off Airfast told my warranty company they never came to my house to diagnose anything. Too bad I have a copy of the invoice your tech left with me. They never answer their phones and never return messages. Again DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this place.

Airfast is a quality company. I worked very closely with Megan regarding a warranty issue and she went beyond the call of duty to fix the issue. She is very kind, professional and focused. She followed up consistently to make me aware of where things stood. I am very pleased with this company and hats off to Megan for a job well done.

Our Thermostat went out thus we had no heat. Our warranty company originally suggested a different company who had Horrific reviews. So I called back and requested another company.
They suggested Airfast Heating & Cooling Inc. Called on a Saturday & “Tyler” came that Monday. My husband was there for the majority of the install and said Tyler was very knowledgeable , professional and fast. After he left my family heard a noise coming from our heater. I called back explained what happened. They apologized & sent Tyler back. My husband (who’s very particular) was there again. He said Tyler went back and checked everything again and discovered there was some debris that came through the heating vent outside that landed inside our heater thus causing the issue. He also reminded us not to block the heating vent with our couch because dust build up. He was kind enough and shop vac the dusted area. He reexplained what he did to me and was on his way.

We definitely recommend “Tyler” with Airfast Heating & Cooling and definitely will use them again.

    Thanks Again Tyler!!!

Absolutely horrible experience with this company. I was given their name by my warranty company to fix our heat pump that decided to freeze up and stop working a couple weeks ago. The technician came out and pumped freon into the system and said he put something else in to fix the leak (but never looked for the actual leak). 24 hours later, system froze up again. Of course this was a Friday evening so we had to wait until Monday afternoon to have the technician come out again. This time he immediately looked for the leak (took less than 5 minutes), informed us that we needed a new condenser coil and that this would cost us extra despite having a home warranty service, and said we'd get a call from the company the next day. A week and a half later, we still haven't heard from the company. We ended up spending money out of our own pocket to get a whole new system from a well-rated local company. I'm still waiting for this company to call so I can tell them what I think of their service and to let them know they wasted their time ordering the new coil (if they ever even ordered it).

This is the absolute worst company ever to call for furnace repairs! I repeat, Airfast Heating & Cooling is the worst company ever to call when in need of furnace repairs! They have scheduled 5 appointments with me now, which my husband or I have had to schedule off of work to be able to meet them, just for them to have done absolutely zero work! My situation has been going on since October, and it is now December and still my gas valve has not been replaced. There is mass confusion between the technicians, office staff, and management. They are uninformed and unorganized. My HSA plan chose this vendor on my behalf, I will never willingly utilize their services ever again. Hoping for resolution to this nightmare soon!

My 2nd floor furnace was only working sporadically and the warranty company sent Air Fast to fix the issue. They came out and shut off the furnace completely. Said they would be back the next day when they had a new flame sensor... 4 more days passed with me calling them multiple times a day and I couldn't get a hold of anyone. Finally when they said they were coming back they mentioned it could be a more significant issue with a control panel and ordering the panel was the delay. They sent out a service manager on the next visit and he said they actually didn't order the panel and he thought it was the sensor. Air fast replace the sensor and the problem returned within a week and a half. These guys are terrible. Stay away.

Keith was great troubleshooting and repairing my refrigerator ice maker. He was punctual and always followed up on all repairs. The office staff is very efficient especially Annie. She always called to advise me of my appointments and was super nice to speak to.

This is the worst company I had to deal with. My home warranty company used them for a problem with our stove and water tank. They guy that came out didn't know what he was doing at all. He said our stove wouldn't heat because of a broken heating element, wrong it was a total different problem. We had to have another company come out for a second opinion and they was even cheaper. They found the problem and fixed it. So now for my hot water tank. My wife wanted to fix a pressure valve drip. The drip wasn't even that bad a drip every other day or so. Well they came out ( the oven and water tank was the same day visit) and looked at it the guy said our water tank was not able to be fixed. But why did he open the pressure valve? After that the little drip every other say turned in a stream and instead of him turing off the water he left it on and when i got home from work my whole hallway and 2 bedrooms was soaked. Now i have to replace the wood flooring in my hallway and my bedroom. We tried to call to talk to a manager, we got the office manager and she ends up giving my wife the run around and pretty much said it was our fault. They wanted 1200 to replace the water tank. We ended up having another company come out and replace the pressure valve and the tank is fixed. Bad company with bad workers. The BBB needs to evaluate this place and see if they are making up stuff or breaking stuff intentionally to have you pay more. Avoid Airfast.

Just witnessed two of their drivers in white vans in the parking lot of Lowe's in Zanesville Ohio driving recklessly. There was a guy with a truck with a cargo trailer going through the lot slowly and they tried to pass him in a parking lot and the one driver had his window down and I could hear him saying all kinds of terrible insulting things about the guy driving the truck with the trailer. I'm not impressed...

I had a great experience working with Airfast! The girls in the office were friendly and helpful, they were able to get the technician over to my house within 48 hours and the repair was quick and affordable. I would recommend this company for all of your HVAC services!

The WORST service ever and rude to top it off! First, I was placed with this company as part of Sears Home Warranty plan (DO NOT BUY!). 3 of the 6 times they came out, I had to pay $100 per the warranty co-pay. I had a central air unit (heat pump) system. First they said the freon was low so they charged it up - a day later whatever quick fix didnt last. A week later they returned (different guy) who said the unit was over loaded with freon and that it needed to be drained. A day or two later no a/c again. Another time they said my filter was dirty and thats why it was not working (each time prior they checked the filter and said it good). Eventually they kept saying it was a different problem until summer was over and they proclaimed I need a new furnace (my furnace was less than 5 years old). I argued that if anything it was the heat pump or the lines connecting the heat pump to the furnace but the warranty company said that I had to have the furnace replaced. I was told I had to pay $395 for required payment (for what I'm still not sure). So they replaced it in December and turned on the heat. No warranty paperwork, no service documents - just done and gone. Now summer hits and the A/C does not work STILL! Sears Home Warranty won't do anything because they said when they paid for a new unit, the company that put it in is responsible. I called AirFast and they said they would not look at their own workmanship without an $85 trip fee. DO NOT Use This Company!!!

Hands down one of the worst companies I've ever experienced in my life, and I've seen my share of terrible customer service. They took a month (and three missed appointments) to conclude that they misdiagnosed the problem, installed the wrong part and couldn't complete the service. They also failed to report to my home warranty company that they collected and deposited a service fee, forcing me to produce a canceled check to prove their incompetence. Bottom line, AirFast is anything but fast, reliable or honest. Don't say you weren't warned.
