Nick is. Pro and a nice guy too. He quickly and efficiently fixed the fan in my GE Wall Oven. He had the part with him based upon info shared during my call to Northwest for service. Thanks Nick and thanks Northwest.

Service call to assess viability of repair vs. replace a 30+ year old washing machine. Chris was on time, polite, efficient, thorough and honest with his assessment.

Chris came and fixed my refrigerator with a new relay board and took apart my old dryer, cleaned the whole thing and replaced parts with a maintenance kit. Now they both work like new. He was so nice, professional and clean/careful with everything. These guys are great.

Your team was brought out by Homeguard and evaluation of our stove. The glass top has cracked. The rep was there a couple minutes and then stepped outside to call Homeguard. I was then told it is an impact because there is an origin point (with an explaination of how that is confirmed). I was told that the heating element was not impacted so only a new glass top was needed, but is not covered due to impact. There was no testing (of glass or heating element) or anything done, just direct observation. We had no known impact. At that time I was told that the glass top was not showing available from Northwest sources which meant it is on backorder or no longer manufactured, but your team was going to continue evaluating availability.
I spoke to the Northwest rep that week and was told that they are confirmed unable to obtain the stove top glass replacement and was instructed to call GE to inquire. GE was able to provide, shipping 3-5 days. Before ordering, I called Northwest back to confirm they would install it if I purchased directly. I was told yes, once received and confirmed it is not broken, call to schedule. I even asked this rep why I could obtain this piece and they could not, she explained it is likely not available for secondary market. At this time, I was provided the model and SN via text from your team to confirm I was ordering the correct product from GE.
I did as advised, and confirmed the glass was not broken then called to schedule installment. I asked at that time if we could use the stove while waiting and was told, since the heating element is intact, it could be used with caution of spilling liquids into cracks. I paid for the glass top and shipping out of pocket.
I was home on the day the rep showed up to install. He surveyed the glass top while I was with him and then installed. The entire installation was closer to an hour. When he was finished, I asked if he had turned it on to test and he had not yet, so I did. It appeared to be functioning appropriately.
With the first use of the stovetop after replacement, my husband noticed it felt more hot than it had historically. He boiled water/noodles and when he stepped away to strain, he heard a pop. And directly over the front right burner was a huge crack.
We contacted Northwest the next following Monday to report these events and were told they would call Homeguard to discuss options. They were also going to contact GE to try to see if they can justify that glass top was faulty to secure replacement. After multiple calls due to lack of follow-up, we eventually reached the Northwest team and were told there was nothing that could be done. Northwest tried to say that this is because we purchased the glass top ourselves, as though we were given a choice? They told me that there was nothing to be done on their end and I would need to contact GE directly. There was no effort made to come out to determine cause of issue. I did as instructed and called GE who stated they would have to send out their tech team to evaluate if it was installed correctly for a cost of $300. This was nearly the cost of the glass top (minus shipping). I asked if I could source my own vendor for this, but was told no, it had to be GE.
Update: I amended my review. I was contacted by this vendor after this and other email communication. They provided a refund of their service fee after the above issue. They indicated there was no further testing that could have been done. They also advised that when they have customers source own parts they cannot guarantee it. I explained that a waiver or something to educate customers seems critical so they know what the risk level is. -
Technician was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem quickly. He had the part needed on his truck which was a temperature sensor. Also cleaned out the dryer vent on the outside which was clogged with lint. Happy to just replace a part rather than buying a new dryer.

Ice Maker was not working propperly. Technician quickly identified the problem and was able to fix it within a few minutes. He answered all our questions about the part in question took a picture, with my wifes phone, of the part when properly installed. He was extremely professional and friendly.

Service tech was professional and courteous. Called when enroute, provided estimate of the repair before repair was completed. Repair involved replacing a three prong heating element which required removal of drum and several components prior to the repair. Completed repair and provided us parts that were replaced and went over warranty info and cleaned up job site.

Northwest Appliance was awesome! Chris showed up promptly and was very clear with what maintenance needed done and how he was planning to handle it. He helped me to understand how the washer and dryer in my new home should be maintained and what I can expect for keeping them in good working order. He was efficient with his time, professional, and polite! Thank you Chris!

I would like to say just how impressed I was and how responsive Electrical solutions inc. were When I needed them to work on aquatic work and waterfall electrical issues for one of my clients. Rob was out right away & with in and hour solved the problem and we had the waterfall working again. Where I might add, another company did not.
I also, had Doug, his son Vincent work on my mobile Coffee van (Buckeye Coffee Roasters), to get it completed, approved and inspected by the city -as I was under time constraints and needed before the first home Ohio state game.
Vincent and Doug stayed after hours and put in 220v and 120 v outlets and connections out of the side of the Mobile coffee van, as the inspector requested.
The work was professionally done, looks fantastic and works better than I could have imagined.
I recommend electrical solutions inc. if you need any type of electrical work done. Industrial, commercial, residential, and now Mobile ... lol
