The gentleman who came out tomy house was professional. They quickly responded to my situation. My hot water tank control box was leaking gas and the gas company shut it down last night. I will use this business again and will reccomend them to friends and family!

Over priced and did not have my part in stock. They wanted 79.99 I ordered on line with 2ed day fedx shipping foe 39.89

After a wasted stop to a big box store where I was told "good luck finding that, it's for old copper drain pipe" , I said to myself "I should go to Schmidlin, I bet they have it." Sure enough, they had EXACTLY what I needed in stock and ready to go. The counterperson was a rock-star! She was so helpful and knowledgeable. This place is an absolute gem! Indispensable to DIY and professionals.

This is an old school plumbing and heating supply company that will have just about every part you could possibly need that you can't find it Home Depot, Lowe's, or Menards. They probably even carry the stuff they do have it Home Depot, Lowe's, and Menards. I'm not sure about the price differences but I guarantee you if there's some obscure part that you need for plumbing and heating this place will have it.

The staff here are friendly and very helpful, especially for the DIYer. They have intimate knowledge of their products and can help you get to the correct answer 10x faster than anyone at a big box store.

Great place for your plumbing and heating needs. Very knowledgeable. Great inventory of discontinued parts. If they don't carry it they will tell you where to find it or chances are it is no longer available.

Don't waste your time in the big box stores, they stock everything and have the knowledge to help you. Very nice people to deal with.

Bob is what I imagine the perfect employee to be. He clearly takes pride in his craft. He was polite and easy to talk to, and though he is knowledgeable in this field, he didn’t talk down to me and he gave me very helpful advice. I’ll be coming back because of him.

They were super friendly and helpful and had exactly what we needed. We had been to two other places before finally making it to Schmidlin, both sent us their way. If you are looking for anything plumbing, go here first!

Schmidlin's is the right place to go. They have replaced my hot water tank, ran a water line to my refrigerator and just unplugged our drain. Scary since we are slab on grade. Tom has always come through for us. No job has been to big or too small. Knowledgeable, respectful, reasonably priced, and they are local.

Went in for a capacitor for my AC unit. Only store in Toledo that had the one I needed. Professional, helpful, even tested my old one for me to confirm it was bad. They have great plumbing and HVAC parts. Great people too.

I had an emergency situation with a toilet plunger failing and not being able to flush the commode. After going to a local hardware store they directed me to come to Schmidlin, because they were the one store that would be most likely to help. I called the store before arriving as they were set to close within 15 minutes and my ETA was 14 minutes, upon arrival I was greeted by staff. He was surprised that I had the original American Standard plunger, in fact he didn't know those parts were still around and had never seen one. He was able to get me a replacement plunger and the gaskets I would need, something for which I am grateful for as I know little to nothing about plumbing. Thank you for providing the community with top notch customer service and knowledge!!

So I'm seeing one negative review and a few that are iffy. Me, I think this is the go to place for those that dare to DIY. Heads up to all, no one is a miracle worker. Do your homework best as you can. Me, I'm familiar with electrical work and hate plumbing. I don't know the names of the parts that I need. When I'm in a jam, I take a few pics with my phone and bring the old part with me to show them what I'm trying to do. They haven't failed me yet. And I'm not saying this just because a pretty girl works there. She knows what she's doing.

The service staff was wonderful! I bought 1 1/4 sink plumbing bc that is what is in my house but I bought a specialty trap. They worked with me to find a way to make my fittings work. They offered to order special parts and helped me pick the right gaskets. I will be going there for all of my future plumbing needs
