Don came for our scheduled maintenance appointment. He was on time and extremely professional. After assessing our furnace, he reviewed his findings and showed me photos of the inside of the furnace, as well as provided tips for maintaining the furnace in the best possible working condition. Don is personable and courteous, which is a plus when having to allow a “stranger” into your home for maintenance. He’s definitely my favorite maintenance man from Care Heating and Cooling that we’ve encountered so far!

A big shout out to Paula & Aaron for the recent service! So here’s the background. Three and a half years ago we bought our house that was built in 2005. We called another HVAC company to do $29.95 HVAC check-up. The technician said our furnace was shot and wrote up an estimate to replace nearly all of the components that totaled nearly the price of a new furnace (which he pitched in the strongest and scariest terms possible). I asked if the furnace was providing heat and was it leaking carbon monoxide - he responded that it was providing heat and it was not leaking carbon monoxide. My furnace has been operating well until recently. I did not follow his recommendation as I realized that the $29.95 check-up was only an unscrupulous ruse to sell me a new furnace. (Oh, he said I should also replace my AC unit at the same time because “everyone knows” that you should replace them both at the same time - my AC unit has been fine ever since!)

A few days ago my furnace stopped working during a very cold night and I stayed up during the night to continually feed wood into our fireplace to keep the house from getting bitterly cold. I called Paula at CARE at around 7:30 AM that morning and asked for a technician to come out and she said my service window would be from 9 AM - noon. Aaron arrived around 9 AM, diagnosed the problem and resolved it for around $200. I asked him about my furnace given its 21-year age and in a no-pressure way, he showed me that it is aged-out and probably should be replaced before next winter. This summer I plan to have CARE be the first estimate I get to replace both my furnace and AC unit.

Technician was friendly and informative! I called late at 11pm last night when I noticed our furnance had stopped working and left my name and phone number with the gentleman taking my message. Then, the company called me at 7:06am this morning and they had a guy at my house before lunch! Now we're up and running and I really appreciate it! I wish the service fee would've gone toward the cost of the repair instead of in-addition-to it (reason for 4 stars), but overall I'm very pleased :-)

Very appreciative of CARE treating my home like their own and finding me affordable solutions for my furnance. I bought a house last year with a 20 year furnance and started having issues during the winter. I called another business who told me my furnance was end of life and I should never consider repairing it. I called CARE, who told me the furnance was in great condition and that I shouldn't consider replacing it. They repaired a gas valve for $500 and my furnance has been working perfectly ever since. The difference in approach between the two companies was night and day.

I appreciate the pragmatic approach to my furnance. If it can be fixed and it can do its job safely, I don't want to be suckered into spending thousands of dollars to replace.

Everyone needs business that they can just trust, because we all can't be furnance experts. I'm glad I can trust CARE.

Doug, Thank you so much for the professional and honest work you provided on our furnace. I called uptown heating and cooling on a Saturday at 2:30 pm, and our furnace was running like a new one by 5:00 pm. This is who I will call from now on instead of wasting my time with any other company (which I have been through many). Do not hesitate calling this company if you need any heating or cooling done, and don't want to be HASSLED by sales people from other companies. We really appreciated the prompt service and for coming out on Sunday to try to get the old unit working until we could get it replaced the next day. The actual installation was neat and clean, my only complaint was leaving a bunch of screws and other garbage around the basement that our pets kept finding and playing with. Over all they did a good job, I would use them again.

I found out through the gas company that carbon monoxide was detected in my home. I called Uptown to have a HVAC technician come out to take a look at my furnace. I definitely needed a new furnace. It was over 20 years old. The tech put me on schedule pretty quickly. David, Devin, and Doug assisted me with the entire process. I really appreciate the prompt service as well as the fair pricing. My new furnace is working great!!! Your office clerk was amazing as well!!! I'm so glad that I put my trust into this company!! They won't let you down!!! I was able to get a same day appointment and they guys who came out identified the problem with the air conditioner quickly and had it resolved it no time. As a first time customer, it was a great experience and will definitely use them again.

Superior customer service!! After a very poor experience with another company, Rae invested so much time and effort into getting me the correct information and helping me figure out exactly what repairs were needed and the best way to go about getting them. Uptown Heating and Cooling proved that they were dedicated to serving me as a person. It is so refreshing to see that companies who value honesty and customer support still exist.

We had a great experience with Uptown Heating & Cooling! I asked them to check out our furnace because I thought it needed a new inducer fan motor. During the process we discovered that not only did that motor need replaced, but also the heat exchanger was cracked and was unsafe. I'm so glad they took the time to look a little deeper than the obvious problem so we could get things fixed right! Devin, their technician, was friendly, smart, and great to work with. I'd definitely use these guys again in the future without hesitation.

We recently had our air conditioner replaced by Uptown Heating and Cooling and had a great experience from start to finish. The receptionist was prompt when answering calls and had the knowledge to answer all of our questions. The technicians who came to our home for estimates and the installation were also great. I recommend this company!

Prior to getting my AC done I did a little bit of shopping around could not find a company that beat the price I’ve received. Had a few ups and downs, but when I needed service or help, they were very courteous, the punctuation of their talk with them. They were very professional, and was very guaranteed that things would run smoothly and and has been. I would recommend this company in the Franklin county and possibly surrounding areas I don’t know how far they drive out but I would give this company a 20 out of 20 they did a wonderful and outstanding job. I could never go back to another company that is only here for your money, and not back themselves up or their business.

We had a crisis on Thanksgiving day 2022, and I put calls into several places... Uptown called me back immediately and made our crisis their priority. We were able to work with my insurance and show that a recent power outage overloaded my furnace, and were able to get this covered. They replaced everything within the day, with great prices on high efficiency systems. I can't thank them enough for the courtesy and professional.

Great local company! Professional and knowledgeable. Finally got answers for my A/C after using my home warranty company and various other companies over the last few years to try to get to the bottom of the issue. Uptown had the problem diagnosed and resolved in no time AND the cost was LESS than the estimated amount!!! I have thrown away all of the other contact numbers!!!

Had the absolute BEST experience today by Uptown. From the moment I called Rae this morning and scheduling our service to Kovin coming out. Rae was great, talked me through everything, was able to get me a rough estimate over the phone and got me on the schedule same day. Kovin was probably one of the best technicians I've ever had come to my house. Didn't mind me watching and asking questions and talked me through EVERYTHING (really appreciated his patience).
