I called around 10am with an issue, my furnace was short cycling. The lady who answered the phone was very nice and said she would have some out between 1-4pm.

The guys showed up and were very professional and polite. Look at my furnace and found a couple CO leaks in my ductwork as well as fixed the issue with the short cycle. Not only did these guys save my gas bill and furnace they also probably saved my family’s life by remediating the CO leaks.

I've never dealt with a service company that has even approached the level of quality service routinely offered by this local (to Westerville) company. Keith and tech partner arrived with the scheduled time. Performed basic heating check, looked at humidifier to ensure functioning as intended. Mentioned the maintenance programs company has without being pushy or pressured to do those.
My system is not very old all checked out fine. Good service will use again this spring for AC checks. $129 for continued confidence in my system.

Keith and his coworker (sorry, I forgot his name) were both very conscientious about getting the furnace and the thermostat working correctly. He solved the heating problem and got our house comfortable in the extremely cold temperatures we are experiencing. I called around 8:30 this morning to have my Trane thermostat replaced since it was no longer functioning. I was fortunate to have a service appointment for 10:00 AM. The serviceman Doug came on time and quickly determined that a new thermostat was needed. He quickly picked up a new device and installed it quickly along with reconnecting my phone to the system so that I can make adjustments when away from. Doug was very polite and worked very efficiently I would highly recommend Uptown Heating and Cooling after my experience today.

Uptown Heating and Cooling does a great job responding to our calls and maintaining our furnace/HVAC system. The technician today was very polite and communicative and thoroughly checked our system out through individual tests and also checking those things we wanted to have him check. He also pointed out a potential problem and took time to explain what the problem actually was. I had a slight issue that I thought was the thermostat. I had past bad experiences with HVAC companies coming to my house and trying to get me to replace my system or spend obscene amounts of money for simple fixes. I was prepared to get a second opinion but was pleasantly surprised at Uptown Heating and Cooling! Doug came in, was professional and patient and explained thoroughly what the problem was, and kept me posted as he worked. It was quick and easy. I will always call this company for my HVAC issues! Happy to finally have a company I can trust.

During Snowmageddon 2026, our furnace/heat pump decided to quit on us — and Doug came to the rescue. He showed up promptly, treated us with absolute fairness, and diagnosed the issue in no time. Even better, he had the necessary parts on hand and got everything up and running quickly.
At a time when I was hearing stories about people being overcharged, Doug didn’t mark up a single thing. He walked us through what was happening with the heat pump in those brutal windchill temps and made sure we understood everything.

On possibly the coldest night of the year, we were able to get an emergency service call and then a new furnace the next day. We had an older furnace with a problem they caught just in time. We were very happy with their thoroughness and courtesy. They’ve got my loyalty for life!

I cannot say enough good things about Uptown Heating and Cooling. They replaced my unit in the summer and came out quickly when my furnace was not warming over night. They are knowledgeable and explained what was causing my issue and how to solve it. You can not go wrong with a new unit or a repair from this amazing company.

The experience was overall good. The only issue I came a cross was the electrician seem to try to upsale me with this that others might not have understood or known if they needed it or not. Most people like me don't have money just lying around and can't add 300 dollars for a thermostat that they might think is needed. Which this is the reason I bought my own. I had just bought my condo and had my home inspected by professionals. Then you try to tell me I need stuff done that was not in the inspection report. This tells me that if you don't understand Heating and cooling that depending on your own knowledge and the technician who shows up could cost the uneducated person alot of extra money they can't afford.

Amazing. Clayton was so polite and helpful, he probably knew he had his hands full when he asked if my furnace was gas and I told him I had no idea what part was even the furnace! Then he turned our ac on for the tune up and a noise started instantly. Unexpected! He found the problem, talked me through all my options and explained everything I'm terms I could understand. Customer for life! I so appreciate how much time he spent (and so unexpectedly) making sure we were good to go. He even noted he's never had any troubles before this was his first, he was great!!

Not only was it same day service, but arrived early during the window period given. The Service Tech Pooya was awesome! Polite, courteous and super knowledgeable. He was quick with service and installed thermostat without trouble. He was forthright with what he found inspecting our AC unit and gave sound advice!
