HE DO NOT DESERVE A ⭐️ FROM ME

BECAUSE HE DID NOTHING AND THE WAY HE TALKED TO ME LOOKED LIKE IM A STUPID OR DUMB PEOPLE.

“ YOU NEED TO READ THE MANUAL BEFORE YOU DO “

IF IM NOT READING THE MANUAL BEFORE THEN HOW DO I KNOW HOW TO USED THE MACHINE?

HE DOES NOT LISTENING WHAT I DID TOLD HIM.

ALWAYS KEEP SAYING THAT TO ME. (5 TIMES)

WHAT DO YOU THINK IF I TELL YOU THAT?

Randal’s communication with me regarding his arrival time was priceless. He stayed in touch with me all day until he arrived at 5:15 pm. He diagnosed the problem on his first visit and I was thrilled that he was the tech that returned to install the parts on my dryer. I give Randal five stars, but not Sears Home Appliances.

I’ve had 12 months experience with Sears repair service, unfortunately, with a different appliance that is under warranty. It was not my choice to use them but since my appliance was still under its one year warranty I had no choice. I do not know how they stay in business. Their app does not work correctly. Their notification and tracking of the techs arrival time is an absolute joke. If Rob, the service tech manager, would like to contact me, I’d be more than happy to discuss the 11 service calls I’ve had with Sears (9 for a GE refrigerator and 2 for an Electrolux dryer). Yes, I’m having bad luck. I have learned the hard way that the one year included warranty I got with the appliances is a nightmare, through Sears. The scheduled repair times come via email. They tell you your appointment is from 8-5. The morning of your appointment you receive an email that your tech is on their way and your window is now 10:53-1:57. I’m just giving examples. An hour later, through refreshing the email, it tells you your appointment is 1:13-3:27. Then you might get another that says the scheduled arrival time is 2:22-4:14. Then another for 5:20-7:18. And this is the way it goes. For each repair date you prepare yourself to take off work but you don’t know when. If you have a good tech they will call you and give you a heads up. If you get an imbecile you’ll get one call at 9:10 am and wait the rest of the day only to get an email at 4:35 pm that your tech (TERRANCE) arrived at your house and you weren’t there…when the whole time you haven’t left your house and were sitting on your front porch at 4:35 pm when the tech supposedly rang your door bell. There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO REACH SEARS HOME APPLIANCES AND TALK TO A PERSON. Their notifications come via emails you have to keep checking throughout the day to see if the arrival time has changed, which it does THE ENTIRE DAY. I was lucky enough on one of the 11 visits to be a morning appointment. The rest got moved later in the day, two of them after 5:00 pm. Once, AND ONLY ONCE, I received a text with a map of where my tech was and I was able to follow that gps map that day until he arrived. Out of the 11 repair visits I only got the text communication once.
Sears is no longer the Sears it was ten years ago. Growing up, Sears was a household name. My grandparents and parents purchased EVERYTHING from Sears. My first home was equipment with Kenmore appliances. In the past three years Sears Home Appliances has become a joke. I CANNOT EXPLAIN THE INEPTNESS OF THEIR home repair service.

All told, it was a good experience. Unfortunately, it was marred by the technician sent out on 6/11/2024, identified as Michael C. I'm not qualified to judge his technical work, but he was angry, hostile, and hateful. He refused to explain anything to me, including what work he did, a breakdown of the costs, and the process for me buying and accepting delivery. His responses were angry grunts and one word answers. His hostility made me nervous to have him in my house.
On the other hand, today's technician, identified as Randal, was excellent. Again, I can't judge his technical skills, but he repaired the dryer, and it works. He explained everything to my satisfaction and was very polite and friendly. He also gave me good advice relative to maintaining my machines.
The markup on the part seemed excessive, but the labor was fair.
I gave only 4 stars due to the behavior of Michael C. Other than that, it was a positive experience.
You should consider finding a job for Michael C that doesn't involve being around customers.

The technician was fabulous. I would not recommend SEARS though because I could never get a confirmed time of either AM or PM. I lost work time, which is very disrespectful of your company.

The technician was very knowledgeable and explained the issues very well.

The repairman called me to let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time and quickly completed my repair. He cleaned the work area before he left. It couldn't have gone better.

Our repairman, Brent, was great. Explained things well. And the dryer now purrs.

Unfortunately I have to give this a star.
THE WORST EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever had in my life. I have been waiting for 6 long weeks to get my dishwasher fix. I’ve had at least 7 service appointments. Out of these 7 service appt 4 of them were last minute canceled and rescheduled. I have taking off work early 7 times because either it was rescheduled or a part needed to be ordered or the tech broke the part and it had to be reordered. When you call them all you get people you can barely understand and they act they can’t help you. So disappointing and frustrating. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this dysfunctional company. It will safe you a lot of money and headaches.

The Technician was great. Sears service/scheduling system is horrible. My appointment was cancelled by Sears at least 5 times with no reason. You can’t call and get a live person it’s all AI. The most horrible service I’ve ever received from a well known company. I rate the technician a 5 he was very informative and fixed my dryer.

I had a with my LG Dryer. The first Sears technician came to my home to assess the problem. After about two hours the tech said it was a motor problem. A new motor had to be ordered and of course it had to be prepaid, as well as pay for the labor for the yet to be performed repair(total of $775.00).

There were issues with the next appointment. It was cancelled by Sear because they said there was a problem with getting the motor. I had the motor in my possession and had had it for several days. I could not talk to a human to try and resolve. I just made another appointment on line. Once a new appointment was made a new technician arrived. After explaining the problem this technician completely reaccessed the problem. After his review he determined it was not a motor problem after all but a simple fuse or thermostat. The tech repaired on this visit. As a result of the misdiagnosis we were unnecessarily without the use of our dryer for two weeks and we paid for a motor we didn’t need. We have yet to receive a refund for the unneeded and returned motor; of $415.08.

I give the first technician a 1; the second tech a 5; and the overall organization response and lack of receiving a timely refund, of which I still have not received after almost one month. a 1. I still have not been unable to speak to a human and I am still looking for my $415.09 refund.

This was the biggest waste of time. They require you to choose an 8-hour window to repair your appliance. They canceled my reservation 2 hours into my window. I missed a full day of work because of this, and I had to reschedule. I reserved an additional 8 hours another day for THE SAME THING TO HAPPEN AGAIN! They canceled 2 hours into my appointment time. I've missed 16 hours of work. I called the customer service number, and they were absolutely not helpful. They empathize with you and provide you with no solution other than to reserve another 8-hour window. The local service company called me to try to schedule after all of this, and I refused as I do not trust this company. Don't waste your time, and don't waste your time calling customer service like they offer on these reviews because you're not going to get anywhere.

I'm still waiting for my refund over a month now and still getting the run around. Never diagnosed or fixed the problem and rescheduled me 5 different times for a washer. If I could give no stars I would. This service is terrible. A far cry from the sears before the bankruptcy. Update- I've called over 20 times in the last 30 days and still no refund. I guess I'm just going to have to get a lawyer since I can't seem to get my money back

They were prompt and friendly showing up. Very honest and even showed me the output of the power from my fridge. Very thorough and informative. Even bought the warranty extensions for all the large appliances in my house. My warranty had expired from everything so I had to pay full price. Then I got the warranty and the price dropped. Now if anything goes wrong with any of my appliances I only have to pay 100.00. We built this house 4.5 years ago and our warranty for all the appliances has expired, including the washer, dryer, and fridge we purchased separately are expired. We purchased the warranty from Sears and it covers all large appliances. Even the ones that didn’t come from Taber that we bought separately. Highly recommend!

On time and very nice and understanding and take the time to explain and answer all my concerns and questions, highly recommend him and his company

Victor was very helpful in assessing and diagnosing our washing machine issue. The Sears platforms were very diligent on informing me when Victor would be arriving and confirming the appointment. I recommend!

This rating is for the tech. I had all the same issues others had with multiple cancellations and reschedules. The biggest flaw overall is the Sears service/scheduling system.......it's horrible. My appointment was cancelled by Sears at least 3 times with various reasons. However once i was finally able to get my warranty service repair appt it went smoothly. I would rate the technician a 5 he was very informative and fixed my dryer.
