I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the woman who answered the phone but she was really very nice. She sent someone out within a matter of hours of the call and called ahead to notify me so my husband could meet him at the house. Thomas was the serviceman. He was a very likable guy. Very helpful and thorough. He could have charged us for something that we didn't need but only fixed the problem and even explained why the issue occurred. We highly recommend this company and if you get a chance to request a particular person - ask for Thomas!. It's nice to see honest people still in business today.

I highly recommend A-1 repair! I called Wednesday for my LG front load washing machine not working. A technician was here Thursday afternoon. Quoted me a very reasonable price for repair. Came back this morning with the part and was fixed in 15 minutes. Great service, nice people and reasonable price!

A1 came out to our house and Ethan was very nice, professional, and helpful. He looked at our fridge and knew exactly what the problem, explained everything very well, and was honest about our options. I would definitely use A1 again for my appliance repair needs.

We have used A1 Appliance Service over the past 10 years. Brian has been the repair technician we've most often used, and we will continue to ask for him again. From our description of the 'fridge problem, Brian purchased the replacement control board prior to his arrival. I made the appointment at about 9:00 am and Brian arrived about 12:45 pm. He made the repair in under 20 minutes. Our questions were thoroughly answered and the refrigerator started working immediately. So glad Brian and A1 Appliance Service is here to handle our repair needs.

Dryer went out and they were able to fit us in the very next day. Brian arrived on time and had it repaired within 20 minutes! Dryer works great and is quieter than before. Highly recommend and will use again. Fantastic customer service, thanks Brian!

I called And scheduled an appointment for them to work on my dryer. I let them know when I scheduled the appointment that my husband had tried to replace the belt and it still Was not working. I received a call right before the scheduled appointment with the technician canceling because they said my husband had already worked on it. I called the Scheduling office and complained that they should have let me know when I scheduled the appointment that it's not their policy to work on appliances that somebody had tried to fix before them and she was extremely rude and very unapologetic for my inconvenience. She rose her voice at me and said 1st of all I didn't schedule your appointment and if I had I would have told you then so thank you very much and hung up on me. I ended up calling Mr. Plummer and they were very nice and had no problem coming out and fixing my dryer knowing that my husband had tried to replace the belt so I highly recommend them.

I would have rated them 0 stars if I could. Stay away from this Company. Behind this friendly front are professional rip off artists. I called them about my dryer because it would come on but the tumbler would not spin. A guy named Brian came out. He told me the thermal fuse was bad. He quoted me a price of $216.00 for the job but would give me a discount which would bring the price down to $175.00. I thought that was reasonable at the time. I followed up with a call to sears to see the actual cost of the thermal fuse. $21.00! $8.00 on Amazon! When i first spoke to these people they said the service call was $89.00 and that if I decided to have it repaired, that $89.00 would go towards the cost of the repair. I paid $175.00 for the repair, the part only cost $21.00 which leaves $154.00 which she said was for a 1 year warranty on a $21.00 part and a 30 day labor warranty. The right and reasonable thing to do was $89.00 for the service charge and $21.00 for the part which is $110.00 not $175.00. So they ripped me off for $65.00. After Brian replaced the thermal fuse now all of a sudden my dryer will not turn off. I called him about this and he said it is the mother board without even looking at my dryer and would cost $250.00 to repair. They are very fast talkers. Make sure you ask a lot of questions about how the service call is applied towards the finished job. It might change after the repair is done. Make sure to talk to the technician about this and that you have a clear understanding. These people are very deceptive. Their whole purpose is to take your money as quickly as they can. Remember the devil can transform himself into an angle of light.

Excellent service! Called in and arranged to have a tech come and look at my washing machine. They gave me an estimated time between 2 and 4 PM the next day. I was very impressed when Thomas called about 10 minutes before heading to my house and arrived just after 2pm! He got right to work, identified the faulty part, made a quick trip to pick up a replacement and had it installed and reassembled in less than 2 hours!! Best part is, if I had tried to replace the board myself, I would have been out time and money had it not fixed the problem. With A1 installing the part, if it hadn't fixed the issue I would not have paid for the part! Not only that, but 30 days on labor and 1 year warranty on the part! I'll be calling A1 again the next time something breaks down!

I will say, saw a review talking about a "high" service charge, while I get where they are coming from, I also want to warn people that going with someone because they are cheaper, isn't always the best idea.

Sometimes potentially paying more can save you money in the long run.

Second time I've used A1. Oven repair/ice maker replaced. Echan was our tech each time. He is extremely knowledgeable and answers all questions related to the repair and warranty. I am extremely happy with their timely efficient professionalism.

Thomas came by today to help save my refrigerator. He did an excellent job and had it back up running within an hour. He explained to me what he was doing. He listened to me in what I tried to do and gave me some tips if the issue occurred again. He was a very nice guy and cleaned up afterwards. Thanks A1

Brian was great and provided a quick diagnosis and repair of the problem. We had waited on a different company for over a week, only to be told they don’t fix that particular issue. A1 came out same day and did a full diagnostic , finding the actual problem and came with all the possible parts in hand. Thank you!

We've had A1 Appliance out a couple times over the years to fix an old stove. Each time, Echan did a great job and was able to save our stove. We appreciate his friendliness and expertise and would definitely recommend A1 to others. Thank you!

The woman who takes the calls is very nice and helpful. However the dishwasher repair guy (and they only have one) is extremely unprofessional, rude and somewhat confrontational. He even referred to me as "dude" when he called to say he was on the way. Not the mention that his vibe made me very uncomfortable in person. Definitely did not feel comfortable being alone with him in my home. My understanding was that it is an initial $89 for them to show up at your house, but if they do any repairs, that is taken out of the repair cost. Well, my plumber failed to knock out the plug when he installed the dishwasher. Simple fix. Repair man tells me it will be an additional $112 on top of the $89 to do this simple fix. When I questioned him, he got agitated and used a louder tone and made me feel very uncomfortable. I paid the $89 just to get him out of my home. I will never do business with them again and would NOT recommend them. At least for dishwasher repair and this particular technician. Very sketchy

My mom needed a light bulb replaced in her oven (and she supplied the light bulb). It's an older oven and we were afraid that we'd break something.
The technician was there maybe 10 min, popped in the new bulb and charged her $100.00. I guess we should be thankful that he didn't charge a labor fee too. Good grief, this is highway robbery. She will never use this company again for ANYTHING, and I will make sure to spread the word NOT to use them either.

A1 appliance came to service my washing machine. They did amazing work. This company has employee's that are immensely knowledgeable about getting the job done. They are courteous,and friendly. I would definitely refer A1 appliance to family and friends. Job well done.

Delightful all around. I spoke with Toni to set up an appointment, Cody called when the tech was on the way, and Echan did a professional and thorough job fixing the fridge. He was also very polite and thoughtful -- took the time to listen to my issues and concerns. He was also respectful of my home -- he asked if I had a broom so he could clean up the area where he was working before he left, which I have NEVER had a repairs person offer. He also brought in a shop vac to further clean up and legit left my home smelling better than when he arrived (given the food rotting in my fridge). I would absolutely recommend him to any friend!

Tech named Brian came out started my dryer it ran and worked properly. He said the motor was bad and wanted $480 to replace it. He never opened the back of the dryer. My wife said he was too busy staring at her chest. I fixed the dryer myself this weekend by replacing the tension pulley. I knew that’s what needed to be replaced and assumed the professional would also. I just wanted to pay someone else to do the job. This company will lie and try to upsell you on work that doesn’t need to be done.

Echan came out at the exact time quoted which I appreciate. I hate getting an inaccurate window so this was a refreshing change. He worked in our small laundry room with no issues. Our problem was solved same day within the hour and he was able to take payment over the phone with my significant other. I cannot recommend this company enough with their perfect quoted times, wonderful employees and fair pricing. My cat even took a liking to him as well so pet friendly is always a bonus.

A1 Appliance came out within 24 hours to look at my fridge that went out, they had even looked up the model number ahead of arriving for the service call and brought with parts for what they thought might be the problem from the information I gave them so they were able to repair my fridge in that same visit. I would definitely call them for any future repair needs on my appliances.
