This company does not follow best practices as described in the installation manuals and your equipment will not last. if you decide to get an ac unit or heat pump insure they are purging and braising with a nitrogen flow as well as evacuating using a micron gauge, and isolation of the vacuum pump or your equipment will not last. If I could give this company 0 stars I would.

If you are smart you will stay away from this company. They hire people that don’t know what they are doing. They take many short cuts and the work shows it. I would never recommend this company. They also hire rude staff. That Amber who answers phone is the rudest person thinks she knows everything. Don’t use unless you have money to pay another company to fix the mess they make. I would of given a 0 star if I could of.

We called them at 8:00 this morning because our a/c unit wasn't working. They told us they would come out tomorrow to look at it. Four hours later they're at our home, fixing the problem and we now have a cool home again! They're incredibly fast, friendly, and affordable!

Installers RJ and Dillon were professional and efficient. All lines ran look good and well placed. Cleaned up their mess when done. Was able to answer all my questions. This was my second home that A.C. was installed in by Birchfield. Would recommend to all in need of central A.C.

Awesome customer service from the very courteous receptionist scheduling the appointment to the technician doing the repair was a first class all around. I highly recommend Birchfield as an honest and well run organization.

Really great at getting a quote and install, service afterward is substandard. Girls in the office don't follow through. I asked to get an AC cover and a service contract and never had any follow up. It is apparent they don't need the business.

We live in a new home in happy valley and had our HVAC unit installed through the builder that used Birchfield. The builder had them out to repair a condensation leak due to a poor initial install, here we are with freezing temperatures and what do you know? the condensation leak was never fixed so our heater ceased to work.
Called in and was told they do not service Happy Valley, but they have an independent contractor that does. 4 days later and still no contact or repair date. When I called again and mentioned this was all due to an initially poor install and previously done "repair" I was advised to call another company.

TLDR. Stay away and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

These guys were great. We initially dealt with another company that was a nightmare to work with. Birchfield went above and beyond service wise. We've had our unit for about 7 months and have had no issues! My only regret is that we didn't use them from the beginning.

Incredibly disappointed in their installations - every heat pump seems to leak or malfunction.
Customer service is very poor, after two weeks of waiting for them to repair a system they installed I was told to take my business elsewhere because they don't have time to deal with it.
You might save yourself a headache if you take your business elsewhere also.

Birchfield did an outstanding job installing my new duct work and furnace. They were very professional and had the best price of all the quotes I got by far!! I would highly recommend them and will be using them again.

They fit us in twice for AC problems during summer with less than 24 hours notice. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Amber is wonderful. I have a feeling that place wouldn't be the same without her. They did a great job installing our new AC unit.

Our furnace, that was installed initially in 1970 decided to break down a couple days ago. I called a competitor then i called a friend who recommended Birchfild. Jake came in looked at our furnace, 20 min later he said we can have a new one up tomorrow. The competitor came in was in our attic for 30 min then explained how bad everything was for 20 more minutes before telling us what he can do. I called Birchfield back and saud that we will go with them. The price was less expensive for a better model than the competitor quoted. Service was amazing and i will go back to them again for help.

Birchfield Heating is the most professional company I have ever done business with. I have used them for years and they are up front, honest and know their products and how to save you the most money! They stand behind their work and work very hard to get you the best deal for the best product to match your needs. They beat my lowest bid by $1600 when it was all said and done! I can't say enough about them, I recommend them to everybody.

August 2018 - almost one year later there was a manufacture defect in our compressor and Birchfield actively worked with us to get it covered under warranty going above and beyond both is help and speed. Definitiely continue to recommend them.

August 2017 We used them to install a new Air Conditioning system into our home that didn't have one before. We had just purchased the home and wanted it installed before we moved. They came recommended from a friend who has used them before and we were not disappointed. We had 4 quotes for the project and they were the most fair priced unit. My father in law owned a HVAC company in southern Oregon for 20 + years and he had approximated what te job should cost and they were the only company that came in near that quote. Some were double what they quoted. It just so happened that the install date ended up being the hottest day of the year. We were worried that we would get bumped since there were hundreds of service calls coming in that week but they were there on time and ready to go. Their crew worked all day in the 108 degree weather and even stayed well past 5:00 pm on a Friday when they ran into some unexpected glitches, which they resolved. After the unit was installed we had to call them twice for some minor issues (really no big deal items) but they took them seriously and came out the next day on each to ensure the system was meeting our expectations. I highly recommend them.

Two days ago, on Sunday, December 19th, my furnace would not come on. I called Birchfield and left a message requesting a service call on Monday, if possible. On Monday morning, Amber called, and then Jake came by and inspected my furnace. He let me know that my 24-year old furnace was at the end of its life. 24 years is a long time for a furnace and I was not surprised by the diagnosis.

I was, however, very surprised that they could install a new furnace immediately, and at a very reasonable price. It is now Tuesday at 1 pm, a mere 2 days later, and the new furnace is already heating up the house.

Called Birchfields to get a bid on ductless air. Jake came out and recommended what we needed and set up for the following week. The installation was done in one day. I was very pleased with the installers and the electrician. I called the office for a couple of questions and the office manager was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Quick and easy.

Birchfield has given us excellent customer service and recently installed a new AC unit for our home. Gabe followed up after the installation to ensure the installation was correct; he made adjustment and installed a new furnace filter as a courtesy. We did get other quotes and Birchfield was by far the best deal!
