SO happy with Birchfields... Cannot say enough about their attention to detail as well as getting on top of things. I have used them on my previous home and my new home as well. In addition to that, I have referred numerous clients to them know that my people are safe with them and they won't go fishing for a big job when a small part might be all that is needed. Can't thank them enough.

Very happy with the service. Our air conditioning stopped working. Called numerous services in Albany and Corvallis. They were able to come with just 2 days (this is a very busy time, another service can only come three weeks later) and they did great job fixing our AC. The guy spent around 3 hours, including a trip to office to get a part as well as a quick show up of another colleague of his to help. I end up paying a bit less than $300 for parts and labor, which is super reasonable in my mind. Highly recommend!

Birchfield in Albany offers fantastic service from the initial call (thanks Amber!) to the installation or repair. They scheduled and installed a Bryant 4k BTU furnace a couple of years ago (great job) and just repaired my central air conditioning today (thanks to Jake for the house call). I cannot emphasize enough how courteous and helpful this business is. I've recommended them to many of my friends and they were equally impressed. Thank you Birchfield Heating and Cooling!

We have been using Birchfield for a number of years now and love the quality of their products, their very competitive prices, and the excellent service which they have always given us. Amber has been especially wonderful to work with. We have found her to be one of the friendliest people in Albany and she has always gone out of her way to coordinate a visit from one of her excellent service technicians and/or direct us to a great deal on a new unit for the rental homes which we own in this area when its appropriate. In prior years we had tried several other HAC businesses in our area and none of them could compare with our consistently positive experiences with Birchfield! There is no doubt in our mind that Jake Birchfield and his company are the best in our area for solving Heating and Air Conditioning problems!

I had a very disappointing experience with Birchfield Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. Over the past three weeks, I have called multiple times regarding heating issues in my home, and each time, Amber—who handles customer calls—kept pushing back my request without any sense of urgency. She was consistently unhelpful, rude, and dismissive, often talking over me instead of listening. Despite multiple attempts, I was unable to schedule service. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially for something as essential as heating. I do not recommend this company.

I recently had an HVAC system replacement, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received. From start to finish, the whole team was excellent. Amber was quick to respond to my inquiries, moved quickly to receive the equipment and scheduled at a time that was convenient for our family.

The installation process was impressively fast and minimized disruptions to our daily routine. The technicians were friendly and professional, taking time to explain their process and answering any questions we had.

In addition to the outstanding service, I found their pricing to be economical compared to other quotes I received. The value provided exceeded my expectations, and I feel confident I made the right choice.

Birchfield heating and air conditioning gets the job done. Justin was kind and helpful and explained every detail for me to understand what was wrong with my air conditioning. They are reasonably priced and if you’re looking to replace or have a repair call Birchfield.

When you want the job done right, you hire the professional's well i thought we did. I had an issue with my air conditioner. Some of my rooms weren’t getting enough air in them so they fixed that. They also said that my air filter was dirty and they replaced it with a new one. Today i went to replace the air filter and this is what i see. They didn’t have the right size of air filter so they cut one up and made it work. The right size is 12x12x1

We had a bit of a tricky furnace install and Cody tackled all the challenges and did an excellent job. Aaron came later on and was very helpful. Anyone who has a good attitude when they go into a crawl space deserves a big thanks.

Called to have them take a look at my system not working quite right. Assumed it was a refrigerant leak the guy agreed. He said he didn't know the previous person who installed it and if they were licensed so he didn't want to get involved and brushed me off. I told them I wasnt looking for any warranties just looking to see if someone can help me out and fix it the right way. My mistake for being honest with them about who did the work originally. Every one has the right the run their business how they want but they obviously aren't looking to help people either

Pace / Loren Heating and Air is a very honest company to work with. They did a repair and replaced a fan motor that burned out AFTER the 1 year warranty due to a possible incomplete installation. David Rowley is a nice technician to work with and found the problem quickly and I highly recommend a company that steps up to this level.
They were able to come repair my system have it up and running the next day from when I called the evening before.

I manage over 70 homes and trust Pace Heating and Air with all my HVAC needs. I called for help with a faulty furnace today and had their tech Vincent, on site within 30 minutes and the problem solved within minutes of his arrival. He was not only efficient, but courteous, professional and thorough. It's good to have a team like Pace on your short list.

Had my unit looked at
Repair man didn't wear a mask, joked and told me to use my fireplace for heat. I can't we have no propane hooked up to it, we barely bought our home. Gave me an estimate on repair of around 300.00 for part and labor. That's about right since it's a 150.00—170.00 part. Waited for them to call back and let me know how long I will be without heat for part to get ordered. Had to call and leave message. They finally called and said it's an expensive part and said it would cost almost 800.00 $ that's not what they told me at first. The whole unit new is 900.00 they lied and tripled to price. The old switch & bait. Sorry not getting taken advantage of. I know the price and the quote I was originally given.. Wasted 115.00 just to get lied to. Do not trust this company. Paid for another company to look at my unit who said motor is fine nothing wrong with my unit..

My A/C unit quits working suddenly. I called Pace for repair after getting a recommendation from a friend. Geoff came to my house promptly, and did an excellent job for us! He quickly found out that my A/C problem is actually caused by a failed heater, it overheated at some point and melted wires inside, which eventually caused short-circuit and A/C malfunction. Geoff checked my A/C unit thoroughly and got it back to work again! Geoff explained the root cause clearly, and helped me to understand why I need to consider replacing the heater instead of A/C. I was very impressed with Geoff's expertise, patience and great job he performed. I'd certainly call Pace again when I have issues next time.

I'm happy with my Pace experience with Adam, Mitch, and Jake. Both Mitch and Adam went the extra steps to figure the best way to configure my current furnace (that we bought from them much earlier), with a new heat pump. I'm a senior person, and Adam was very thorough in explaining details to me.

When we got our house we got a new furnace and an air conditioning unit put in from Pace. We got the insurance for both of them. And a year later a part on our air conditioning unit went out. We called them out here to fix it and they told us that we didn't get insurance for the labor only the part.. But when we got asked if we wanted insurance on it we said yes we want all of it covered and that's when we first got it all. So they charged us almost 3000 dollars to fix a part that was insured and shouldn't of even gone out after one year. Now if we need it worked on in the future we will be taking our business some where else. I would never recommend them.

First time with PACE and I was very pleased. Joe thoroughly assessed my 22 year old heat pump and 40 year old furnace and was able to repair rather than try to sell me new units. Joe was very knowledgeable and personable. I am very pleased!

We had our heater not working this year and we've called and trusted this company to come in to fix it, but they could not do it done in one day. We had their repair guys diagnosed the heater and they keep telling us that there's a problem with the sensor. Every time when they come to fix the heater, they always find a new problem. They also never have the parts needed with them so, they have to come back to order the parts and reschedule another appointment. So, I had to take another time off from work. I'm starting to understand their business, they want to come back over and over again so that we can pay them over and over. Right?!! Don't let this company screw you over. Take your business somewhere else that you can trust and solve the problem right away.

Great team to work with. Troy came out to write the estimate at the agreed upon time.Then he ordered what we wanted and got it installed when he said he would for the quoted price. So far so good, right? But wait...it gets better. Our circumstances are a little complicated. I needed confirmation right away that the work had been done. I called Loren's and the first person said my invoice would be available on a couple of weeks. Normally, for me, that would be fine but not this time. I called back the next business day and spoke with Emelye in the accounting department and explained our situation. Within 30 minutes I had a letter, an invoice, and ...best part...a call to confirm my receipt of the documents. THAT IS HOW CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DONE. Thank you Loren's, especially Troy and Emelye. Our heating and a/c unit works great and so does your staff! Thank you so much!!

Vince came out to our house promptly and helped us to restore our heater to like new again! Before the heater was blowing out luke warm air and barely blowing. Now it's toasty warm and blowing very strongly! He identified a burned out wire almost instantly, and was able to get our older heater to work better than it's ever worked before. Prompt, courteous, and just a very cool guy. We were all very pleased with his knowledge and knowhow, and his ability to identify the problem. Just an all around terrific experience! Affordable too!

I have been very pleased with service that I received from Pace Heating and Air. I have an unusual under the floor heating system which no one in the area had experience with. The service technician that I worked with, Binny was a delight to work with. In addition to figuring out the problem he spent the time to educate me in how the system worked and how I could fine tune it for optimal performance in the future.
