I Called for a maintenance appointment for my furnace and Heat Pump and was scheduled for a few days later which was wonderful. The day of the appointment, JJ called me to say he was on his way and arrived shortly thereafter. He did a fabulous job on the furnace in a very small space without any problem. He changed the batteries on my thermostat and shined up the Heat Pump so it looked almost brand new. He cleaned out the leaves on the ground around the heat pump and disposed of them. JJ turned on my water for my outside faucet and put on my hose and cleaned the heat pump and surrounding area. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and answered all my questions . He had a delightful manner and it was a delight to have someone so dilligent and enjoyed their work. I have used Robbens since the 1970's in my other and present home. They are the best and never disappoint. I can recommend JJ & Robben & Sons Heating without any reservations.

My heat pump was not functioning properly resulting in very high PGE bills. I called Robben & Sons & they sent JJ w/in 24 hrs. He was able to diagnose the problem but double checked many possibilities & confirmed it w/ the manufacturer & their IT people. I couldn't be happier. Although it's not resolved yet, the part will be installed the next business day. JJ was so thorough. I had many questions & he answered everything I asked & educated me in a non-condescending manner.

I've had a contract w/ Robbens for years (in my previous house & now in this one that I have lived in for 4 years. Heat pumps are new to me so I appreciated the education!). This company has never let me down when I have furnace/heating issues. 100% recommend them. PGE has them listed as a Clackamas county heat pump contractor. I have lived in Mult & Washington counties. They willingly take customers in places other than Clackamas county.

We enjoyed a furnace service today with Josh. He was knowledgeable, shared information regarding our furnace, kind and quick to complete all of the steps with an old oil furnace. Thank you!

I believe it was Scott who serviced our heating unit. A very positive and easy going fella. Exchanges with him were easy and informative. He took care of things quickly and explained what he did. I am very pleased with his service. Before departing he took a pix of my 🐶 to show his wife as Bergman looked very much like a companion she once had. That personal touch is well received. Thank you

I'm very happy with the work that Clarence did. He was very knowledgeable, answered all my dumb questions and gave the system a clean bill of health. Pointed out one area we should think about (undersized ducting related to retrofitted second zone addition). Very happy with the service call and will be using them in the future.

A few weeks ago, I noticed that our heat pump didn’t seem like it was putting out any heat. I gave Robben & Sons Heating a call. They had set me up with an appointment for one of the technicians to come out. My heat pump was at least 15 years old and I had an idea that it had probably reached the end of its life expectancy.
The technician, Josh arrived on time. I might add, I did reschedule from my original appointment. When I did reschedule, the staff, particularly Mary Jo at Robben & Sons were very professional, accommodating and was able to set me up with another appointment within a week. Josh ran some diagnostics and gave me the news that I was hoping not to hear….no refrigerant and weak heat strips. Josh recommended replacement and I agreed. He offered to have a project consultant to come out and give me an estimate. Fortunately, the consultant had an opening later in the day.
The consultant, whose name is Roz, arrived and looked over my situation. Roz asked some questions regarding our heating and cooling patterns of my wife and me. We were limited to options as we live in a manufactured home. Roz worked out a solution which included increasing the size of my unit to a Bosch 3-ton condenser from a 2-ton. I agreed with this as I always thought the 2-ton was undersized for this size house and the number of windows we have. I sold HVAC many, many years ago, so I have a little knowledge of the products. I was happy with the product and felt the price was within the reasonable limits. Sold!
So, I was set up for installation within a reasonable time. Matt and Anthony showed up on time and worked the entire day installing my new system. During the installation, Matt answered the questions that I had and provided valuable training on my new thermostat. The thermostat is very cool. It is a Bryant Housewise with wi-fi. Away from the house, I can check the current temperature and increase the heat or turn on the cooling side. It gives me a weather forecast as well as other options. The install team finished up and cleaned up leaving the area spotless.
There are a lot of HVAC companies and they all have different prices, higher and lower from what I paid. Bottom line is the office and management staff is professional and customer oriented. The techs, sales staff and install team are professional and customer oriented. They sell a quality product with a service staff that backs it up. As you can see, I was happy with the process and would recommend Robben & Sons to anyone.

I have used the services of Robben and Sons for years. They continue to provide talented technicians for service and maintenance on my home heating and cooling system. They have been willing to go the extra step to keep my system, which is getting on in years running. It is a high efficiency unit, and I appreciate that they understand it and give me confidence in its continued operation. Also, they honor their arrival time.

Save yourself a headache and stay away from this company. They did not install the heat pump up to code and it failed inspection. I spent six months getting the run around and it wasn't until I sent them a notice that I was going to report them to the Construction Contractors Board before they finally brought the unit up to code. During installation they pulled the face plate off of my dryer and tore through the wire covering for my crawl space vent. They didn't tell me about either or attempt to repair the damage. Overall poor customer service and workmanship. 0/10 would not recommend.

Your guys did a great job. They were in and out in a day and 1/2, cleaned everything up nicely and explained the system functions. The sales and office staff were very helpful, as well. The Robben & Sons' price for the job was substantially below another quote that I received for the same HVAC equipment configuration. That vendor also did not inform me of an $1800 credit that was available for the equipment.

Had a problem with my combi boiler not starting and stopping unpredictably. First company said it was a faulty temp sensor and just disconnected it which didn't work. Then had Robben & Sons investigate and ended up replacing the control panel, which still didn't fix the issue. They came out a second time and figured out it was faulty wiring in the wall and gave me a few options to repair. Ended deciding to go with a wireless thermostat system. They also recognized that the control panel didn't need to be replaced and didn't charge for the previous work. Took a couple tries, but they figured out the problem and stood by their work. Can't ask for more than that.

After numerous attempts from the original installer of our heat pump and a local specialist, I had to call Robben & Son’s to finally repair the problem. The local company wanted to charge over $3000 to flip the air exchanger to improve airflow. Robben & Son’s replaced a sensor in the heat pump for less than $300. I wish there was a 6 star rating.the tech was knowledgeable and friendly
I had Robben & Son’s return to service my equipment. The technician was outstanding. He found and replaced a bad capacitor and serviced my equipment. When I called to make the appointment I had understood the price was a specific amount and when I explained the issue the technician made the adjustment on the spot. What an outstanding business to work with. Robben and Son’s has a customer for life!

Robben & Sons has been great from the start. I purchased my new furnace and added AC from them because they had the best price and the least pushy tactics. I've been quite happy with the products and the service.

So happy with this company! It’s nice knowing that every six months the heater or air conditioner is being looked at and a new filter put in. Gives me peace of mind that when I go to turn on the heat or ACon that it will work. The technicians are always very respectful and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Robben and Sons .

Jeremiah was great as usual. He had my furnace tuned up in a jiffy and even better, found nothing wrong. Yay!

I was a little concerned to start because my error messages were showing high levels of carbon dioxide in the house. My initial call they said someone from scheduling would call right away annd 2 hours later I called to check on the scheduling situation and the very professional employee did a great job handling my urgency while being realistic with their availability. She assured me that I’d be the first call after the schedulers lunch and I was. They communicated with me to let me know the tech was a little behind… as soon as he got here I knew I was in good hands - the tech was so solid. I am working with an ecobee thermostat and he explained how different things can trip it. Once we got inside he started taking guesses just by answering a few questions and sure enough, he nailed it. We just bought the place and had AC installed and what do you know, they cut corners. Shocked!? Not this company. Robben and sons was professional and friendly with my kiddo, he gave me great advice and shared in detail the next steps to take. He was a great educator and kept it simple. Very thorough and professional. I highly recommend. Great pricing compared to most companies I received quotes from for a new heat pump. They've literally been in business for almost 100 years. Definitely give them a call if you're looking for a new heat pump system.

Amazingly great service and right on time. My technician (Josh) wore shoe covers and was very respectful of my home. He explained everything to me in a way that I understood all of my options and arranged for his office to take care of all the replacement needs today. We were heading out of town and of course our AC pipe cracked and we had a bad leak. Robben & Son was able to fit us in at the last minute. Josh was amazing, did a wonderful job and saved us from having to buy a new unit. Thank you everyone at Robben and Son…you saved us! We made our flight too!!
