We had Petra Heating and Air Conditioning Tech Andy Fey out this morning to service the gas furnace. We are very happy with the service supplied. We will continue using their service in the future.

We live in an HOA community and Petra installed heat pumps and tankless water heaters for a group of owners. We had done extensive research and Petra took the time to dig deep into options for our challenging unit layout. End result was much less complicated than others had feared. Highly professional and reliable. So happy with the new equipment!

Andy did a great job on my semi-annual maintenance and answered all of my questions about my HVAC. With their discounted annual contract, I don’t have to worry about scheduling - they will call me when it’s time. Great customer support from the whole team at Petra!

My AC was not kicking on and I assumed it was the thermostat bc it had been in an issue in the past. Turns out it was some water, clogged drain situation (yuck). Andy, the technician took this more messy problem in stride and fixed it efficiently with great customer service.

I didn’t expect one of the most delightful people I would meet in 2025 would be the HVAC technician fixing my AC - but hey I’m not mad about it! Cheers to Andy for his professionalism, efficiency, and problem solving. He also arrived right on time.

Also cheers to Brittnee for helping schedule the appointment. I’m a tenant and not a home owner, and she made it easy. Great customer service experience overall.

I had my guy, Bernie check out Andy’s work (in photo) and he agreed it was done right. 😂 Jokes aside my usually shy cats were out and about instead of hiding. Cats seal of approval for this technician.

Andy was wonderful! Helped get the heaters working in our unit. Efficient, knowledgeable and very friendly. Highly recommend Petra. Great communication and showed up at the beginning of the scheduling window!

Mark and Chris were amazing!! Our old AC unit was struggling with the rising heat so we had Petra come out and replace it and these two killed it! They got here on time and worked tirelessly all day with our annoying attic without any complaining and did great work. They protected all our floors so they could move easily through our home and made us feel comfortable. They provided us updates on what was happening which made us happy. All in all a super happy customer thanks to these two superstars.

I run a local property management company and have worked with Petra for a number of years. They have always provided top notch service. Great communication from the office and the technicians. They are honest, experienced, punctual, and are always my go to for any HVAC issues.

If you’re looking for a new furnace/AC unit, I highly recommend calling Petra. I’m extremely pleased with my new American Standard furnace and AC unit, which works great with my Nest thermostat. Everyone from Petra that I talked with were very professional and knowledgeable which made my decision making easier. A big shout out to my installers, Dillon and Chris for completing my project in a timely manner. I also want to thank Tom (sales rep), Ashley (office rep) and Matt (lead rep) for making this project run smoothly.

From beginning to end, we thoroughly enjoyed working with Petra for our new super-efficient heat pump and air handler installation! The efficiency is so high, we no longer needed backup electric heat strips in the air handler. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable, informative, and pleasant to interact with. We especially appreciated Jon and Rick for the installation, which was tricky to fit into a small closet where the old furnace was. They answered all of our questions and complimented us on the structure we built for them to attach the heat pump line set to from the yard to the house. Petra got us two rebates in time before the deadlines too! We are planning on having them replace our water heater, when it goes out, with an external heat pump water heater next. Highly recommend!

I don't know about you, but it seems like a rare gem when you find a company that embraces old school values of excellent customer service. Petra is one of these gems. We have been Petra customers for years and years, and honestly, you couldn't get us to pick a different company. Every time they show up, they are professional, on time, and do quality work. We completely trust them. Additionally, they are so customer-focused vs profit focused. I have asked them multiple times if it's time to replace my furnace or hot water tank. They always take the time to explain to me the pros and cons of any work and have always encouraged me to maintain my current systems and make costly upgrades only when truly necessary. Additionally, they offer a maintenance plan where they come out and check your systems on a yearly basis. The plan is affordable and catches small problems early thus preventing unexpected and significant repairs. If you're looking for a company that you can stick with and trust, Petra is the way to go.

Matt came today and checked my very old heating system. As I suspected it wasn’t working as it should! He gave me a very reasonable quote to fix what was needed. He was polite, kind, respectful and knowledgeable! He will order parts and be back again to finish. I highly recommend A-Temp!!

Derek was great. Very knowledgeable and super nice. Fixed the problem in a timely manner. Will definitely use this company in the future and also recommend to others. Very pleased with the service.

Berch, technician, did a good job. However, we did not receive a reminder of appointment and/or confirmation of appointment by A-Temp back team and were surprised by Berch's visit first thing in the morning. I called a-temp customer service and female customer representative was a rude and adamant they had done their jobs. Never saw message, text and/or vMail from a-temp. We will re-evaluate our a-temp annual contract going forward.

Amazing! Andrew was so wonderful and easy going. This company is who I will be using going forward for any services I need. They were kind, fast and reaonably priced. Thanks A-Temp! I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

From scheduling to completion everything was so smooth. I don't think I've ever had a house repair be so easy. Brent explained the issue and repairs simply and provided excellent recommendations for how to keep my system working properly. So happy I called A-Temp.

dereck came right over to troubleshoot our just installed new furnace and had it running in 10 minutes. He was friendly and professional just as he was last Friday when he came and looked at our failing 17 year old furnace.
We very much appreciated his visits!!

Bill was amazing. Showed up within the agreed time. Very knowledgeable and was willing to share information on how I can better extend the life of my HVAC and AC units. While we were talking, I had mentioned that I was going to have somebody clean my air vents. Apparently his company offers this kind of service as well and after I counted how many vents I have in my home, he gave me a quick price quote by calculating it on his companies tablet. So now I know roughly what it’ll cost for that, which is nice. He was professional, polite and all around a great person. Will definitely be a repeat customer because of his services.

I had concerns about my furnace (heat exchanger), and A-Temp & Brian were able to schedule a visit within 24 hours. Brian was extremely thorough in his inspection, finding my suspected issue in no time. His systems knowledge helped me find a replacement heat exchanger, and the install was scheduled quickly. Great work.

Over the summer I was lured into a maintenance plan that happened to be the same cost as what I was spending. I took the bait. Now fast forward……..

ATemp calls yesterday for my regular scheduled maintenance. I was told middle of Jan, but miraculously they had an opening for the next morning.

The tech showed up and did his thing. About 30 min later he came in with the “bad news”. He claimed the heat exchanger was “disintegrating” and could “pull out/fall out” at any moment. (Exact words). He condemned my unit, turned off the gas and set me up with an appointment to sell me a new furnace. A-Temps free cleaning and inspection ended with no furnace at all. Sweet sales tactic.

I immediately felt like it was a scam as I’ve never had a single furnace issue and it was working flawlessly before he arrived. I immediately called two other companies who both happily came out and took a look. Both had the same reaction and laughed out loud at the diagnosis from A-Temp.

Both other companies inspected and started the furnace and put their stamp of approval on an old, but completely functional system. “Disintegrating” is a straight lie and condemning my unit is complete BS. This is the biggest SCAM I have ever seen. You should all be embarrassed.

For those who read this, the company is clearly paying for reviews. No one has 5.3K reviews with a 4.9 rating. Just read the 1 stars…………they all have a similar feel. My 1-star review will be burried under a rush of 5 stars. Watch.

A-Temp is preying on unsuspecting customers and condemning hvac units that have no issues. Please consider a second opinion or a different company all together.

I told Greg when I called to cancel my plan, he giggled and offered a manager. No thanks, nothing about this is funny. Do better and stop ripping people off.

A-Temp Heating, Cooling and Electrical does Amazing work, they stand by their workmanship! They called a half hour before they were going to arrive, service tech was professional and couteous, he fixed the issue and explained what he did. An awesome company to deal with from the time I called to the time they left, this company is Spot On!! Great company!!
