From the sales, to the installation and follow up, the customer service was outstanding. The heat pump unit that was installed is quiet and I noticed an immediate improvement in the temperature throughout the house. I highly recommend Ultimate Comfort for heating and cooling systems and service.

The price was right. The work was done well, and they were able to install quickly as it was cold and there was no heat in the house. The owner Ralph is a real sweet guy and very helpful. Lastly, they were extremely helpful in helping us get government energy rebates for the installation.

I am very satisfied with my service visit! We bought this home in October and it had the sticker from Ultimate on it, so we called them for a maintenance appointment.

You know how sometimes the inspection last for all of 20 minutes, then they ask for your money and leave? This was not the case today (and I mean that in a good way).

Alex arrived on time and was inspecting the two units for nearly 90 minutes! I could tell he did a very thorough job, as he came to me with several recommendations that were not pushy at all, just evidence of his knowledge and detailed inspection. He said he would send me estimates for the work, and I look forward to reviewing them as soon as they arrive.

In all, I will absolutely be calling Ultimate again, best HVAC company I’ve found yet!

Honest, thorough, no hard sell and nice guys. I called Petra to get a second opinion after another company told me I needed over $5000 worth of repairs on my furnace. The guys spent over an hour checking out the furnace, checked the house for carbon monoxide, explained what they found, answered all my questions and still only charged me their base rate. And, found nothing that required immediate attention.

We recently had a gas furnace replaced by PETRA Heating & AC, one of several major maintenance projects that PETRA has done for us, in addition to many minor ones. As always, we were very pleased. Everything went smoothly and swiftly, from the initial quotes to the installation. PETRA is a great company.

I had Petra replace our gas furnace with a new Mitsubishi heat pump in our goal of going all-electric at our home. The management team was super responsive and took the time to do all of the calculations to make sure our home would be comfortable including noting how much insulation we had in the house, the windows, the sizes of the rooms and came up with solutions for distributing the heat/cool to all of the rooms.
The installation team showed up right on schedule and Jose and Freddy were super conscious of our family and pets while they were doing the work. Their work was clean and efficient and they were great with communicating to us throughout.
I really can't recommend this team highly enough. If you are looking for the best team to really do things right and on time I can only recommend Petra!

We hired Petra Heating & AC a few years back to do a repair on our AC unit and all is still working great! In addition, Andy has serviced our furnace and AC since, and has been great to work with. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable. We will definitely be using Petra in the future for all of our HVAC needs.

Good experience with basic furnace maintenance / service visit. Easy to schedule with. Fair price. On time arrival. Seemed to do a thorough job taking pictures throughout which were sent afterward. I would work with Petra again based on this experience.

The tl;dr is this. We had a good company install our Mitsubishi mini split system (two outside units and four inside units) a while ago, but they never got the WiFi control working. So, when a friend of mine mentioned how awesome Petra was and how everyone at the Elizabeth Lofts loved them, we gave them a call. They asked if we have ever had maintenance done on the units since they were installed in 2018 and of course we had not. As a result, we included that in the visit to set-up the WiFi control.

Honestly, I thought the tech would be for an hour to two hours max to do the maintenance and set-up the WiFi, but boy, was I wrong. Talk about above and beyond, Petra defines this term! So Andreas the tech shows up with shoe protection and masks and is so polite and respectful. Andreas then walks us through everything he is going to do, advises it may take some time, since this is first maintenance since 2018. Andreas, then asks us to show him the units, gets to work and work he did. He cleaned the filters and set them out to dry, cleaned the fins on the units inside and out, made sure all the drain lines were clear, tested and documented all units to max cold and max heat and made sure everything was working as it should. Finally, he completed the WiFi set-up and provided us training on how to use the app.

Since the maintenance was so amazing, we decided to take advantage of the maintenance plan since we never remember to have the done and Petra said they would call to schedule. Sure enough, six months after the original work, we get the phone call, schedule the work and this time, a different tech Jason is assigned to our job.

Happy to report that Jason was every bit as professional and awesome as Andreas was and again was so polite and professional. Jason repeated the same process and took the time test and measure everything and even showed us all the products he used to clean the units noting they were all non-toxic, biodegradable, and would not cause harm in any way. Finally after both visits we are sent before an after pics of EVERYTHING, so very cool.

If you made it this far congrats, and seriously give Petra a call right now to experience HVAC nirvana.

We had a fantastic experience with Petra HVAC. After receiving several quotes for a new AC, I went with Petra as Tom was knowledgeable, listened well and I didn’t feel overly “sold to.” Everyone was super professional and most importantly the system works great!

Jason came out to do 6 month maintenance for our A/C unit. Was very professional and great to work with. Petra also installed A/C and Furnace about 7 years ago and have been very happy with their work.

Petra installed an AC unit and completely replaced the ducting in my 100 year old home. I also had the added complexity of wanting to finish the basement in the future, although I had no drawn plans - just an idea in my head. I am no expert, but I knew this was going to be a challenging job. I am extremely happy with the result, and their pricing was competitive. If you sound like me, put Petra on your list.

Another stellar review for Petra and especially Andy. We had two other companies out to look at the mini split in our upstairs bedroom. Both places told me that the horrible very loud, jet engine sound that was coming from the mini split was normal, and to just get used to it. Andy came out and confirmed that sound is not, in fact, normal — meant the engine was dying. He diagnosed the problem and as we were waiting for parts to arrive, it finally kicked the bucket.
It was originally installed in the teeniest corner of a ceiling in a small laundry room and made any kind of repairs *extremely* difficult. I think the other two places we called initially didn’t want to deal with how challenging it was going to be to fix, and told me to get lost essentially.
Andy seemed to relish the challenge. it was a huge pain in the… to fix, but he did it. And Petra has an extremely satisfied customer because of it. I really appreciate it.

While Carlos was performing semi-annual maintenance on our heat pump, he noted an issue. He methodically analyzed the situation, coordinated with the office then explained the issue and the solution to us. He kept us informed while parts were being shipped, made the necessary repairs and then returned later to confirm that the problem had been fully resolved. It’s a pleasure to work with Carlos.
