Ultimate Comfort installed a heat pump for us and we have been very happy with their work. I would highly recommend the company - professional, courteous installers and we are really happy with our new system. I got about 4 other estimates and Ultimate was very competitive price-wise, plus I found them to best tailor the installation to our needs.

Ultimate Comfort does not honor its stated warranty contract. Steer clear. I hired the company to replace a gas water heater with a hybrid electric hot water heater in November. Stated on the estimate "Installations also include a 1-year labor warranty and a 10-year workmanship warranty." The estimate became a contract upon signing and acceptance. The day after installation the water heater began to buzz loudly when the compressor was running. When I paid the balance of the bill I told the person I spoke with about the buzz. She said that the service manager would return my call. The next day I received a call from the salesman, John, stating he would come out to evaluate. More issues arose such as insufficient hot water for a 15 minute shower, wide range of temperature (114 to 130 degrees when the temperature was set to 125), and worst, the Rheem app indicated high electrical usage (average 14 kwh per day). I informed the salesman of these issues when he came to evaluate. I believe the salesman was sent to 'pacify the old bat'. I'm female and old, two strikes against me when dealing with these kinds of people.

John focused on the buzzing sound, which he agreed in my presence did not sound right. Next communication from him was an email stating that the only authorized service in the area is Stan the Water Heater Man and I should contact them. See stated warranty in the contract above. He also said that I should set the temperature at 130 to better ensure sufficient hot water per the person he spoke with at Stan. He did not state who he talked with so I have no way of following up except to contact their service department. I discovered that Rheem does not cover labor in its warranty, even in the first year. So I am supposed to pay someone else to fix this unit that Ultimate Comfort warranteed?

This result is especially aggravating because in the initial contact with John I told him about Stan's opinion of hybrid water heaters. I was told that they break down all the time and it is impossible to get parts. Maybe they were right. I apparently mistook John's 'deer caught in headlights' look for incredulous. I was assured that Ultimate Comfort would take care of anything if there were problems. I was also assured at installation by John and the owner, Ralph who installed the unit, that the high cost of the unit would be offset by energy savings vs standard electric water heaters, that it would add a small amount to my electric bill. 398 kWh in the last 30 days is not a small amount! This is in a household of 2. I shouldn't have to raise the temperature to scalding to have enough hot water for a 15 minute shower. I did that with the 17 year old gas water heater that needed replacement. We should be able to take back to back showers but can't, there isn't enough hot water. Waiting an hour isn't sufficient for it to deliver enough hot water. Water temperatures should not vary 10 to 15 degrees.

Next step is a CCB complaint. This unit needs to be replaced. It is defective. Ultimate Comfort needs to honor its contract. They need to lose some sleep over this. I've certainly lost enough.

Super fast installation scheduling. Alex was my technician and he was right on time, worked fast and efficient getting my new furnace in and did a great job. He was curteous and made sure everything was clean and tidy before he left.

The office staff - Teresa Davis was awesome scheduling the work and follow-up after the installation was finished.

Ultimate Comfort did an HVAC replacement installing a new furnace in my home. My furnace is located in the attic, so this was not an easy removal or install. I must say these folks know their business, very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They communicated with me throughout the process, from letting me know they were on their way, to answering any questions I had. They kept things clean and organized and they got the job done in a very timely manner. I really appreciate their work and I would highly recommend Ultimate Comfort for all your HVAC needs.

The whole team at Ultimate Comfort were such a pleasure to work with. From my initial meeting with Ralph, to my interactions on the phone with the office crew, to the installation crews that did the work, everyone in the organization was such a pleasure to work with. They are are friendly, professional, accurate with estimates and punctual. They installed a new gas furnace, updating our "last leg" 27-year old on. We also added central air, which our 1908 house did not come with originally. And finally, they replaced our 20+ year-old electric water heater which had just recently started to leak. All the work was explained and options were presented. I felt like in the end we were able to make informed decisions on these products that we both felt good about and fit within our budget. Our heat pump went out (during a recent heatwave of course), so I called our HVAC company Ultimate Comfort.

We found Ultimate Comfort through my MIL and SIL, who had both utilized their services & spoke very highly of them.

Ralph, the owner - promptly came out with Kevin and they got right to work on the problem. It turned out to be a BIG problem that was still under warrantee, so they handled the hassle of dealing with the heat pump manufacturer & ordered us a new one ensuring that we were soon back in business with a brand new Heat pump installed. I can’t say enough good things about Ralph and all of the technicians that he hires. They are all pleasant, professional and just good people. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a HVAC company that they can trust to be there when you need them.

Everything from beginning to end was smooth, fast, and easy. We recently moved into our home and the furnace was not working properly. They were able to resolve it quickly and save us from having to buy a new furnace. I appreciate their help and will continue to do business with them.

Patric was on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He quickly replaced the faulty parts. He explained how to clean the AC coils. Parts were covered by warranty. Cost was for the diagnosis. Very reasonable. I would definitely use them if repair or maintenance is needed.

I always do lots of research when doing projects in my home. I had 4 excellent bids for replacement of our heading and AC systems, and Ultimate Comfort won out. Ralph has tons of experience and I like the fact that he is a small(ish) family owned company. I especially liked the price he gave. We were not disappointed, we were elated! The work was done within 5 weeks of the estimate and took less than 2 days to break down our very old system and install the new, much more efficient furnace and AC units. They were prompt, clean, courteous and definitely knew what they were doing. I would recommend Ultimate Comfort highly (and already have).

After my old furnace stopped working, I called Ultimate Comfort for an estimate on a new furnace. Their man came promptly the next morning to explain my options. I chose a high efficiency gas furnace. The next day, their crew came out, removed my old furnace and installed the replacement, very efficiently. They are easy to work with and fairly priced. Recommended.

Ultimate Comfort is a top tier HVAC contracting company. I cannot say enough good things about their attentiveness, professionalism, promptness, and skills. The true test of any contractor, or service provider of any kind is how they address problems. Ultimate Comfort went way above and beyond the call of duty to help me sort out a significant set of issues (none of which were caused by their work). I LOVE Ultimate Comfort. I purchased my AC split from them years ago & have continued to find them so helpful & kind & honest about what maintenance I need and don’t need. They always provide great service and my latest appt with my tech, Max, was no different! He did an excellent, efficient job servicing and cleaning my split & helped me troubleshoot a couple minor issues. He was professional & friendly. I’m so happy I went with this company when I decided to add AC to my home. Cannot recommend them enough!
