Awesome experience with this company. Great communication with the appointment process. Service technician was professional and swift in solving the problem. I have used many other companies…this team is my first call right now.

Terrance showed up on time and went right to work. Very polite. Told us exactly what he was going to do, did it, then told us what he did and made sure we had no unanswered questions before he left.

Yesterday I would have ranked my experience as top of the line. Until today when I had the AC running 24 hours and the house cannot be cooled down lower than 81F!! That does not look like a well working AC to me which was the statement of the technician.

Kurt is always on time and so professional! Fixed our heater quickly. We can always rely Area H&C.

Would recommend Justin/Area to anyone needing heating services. Will have them back in the spring for AC service assuming pricing is comparable.

Sean Butler , Sr.servuce technician, came by today to do routine maintenance on my new furnace. Did a methodical and meticulous job, taking his time explaining in layman's terms any doubts and concerns I had. Keep up the good work.

Scott gave us an estimate of what a new furnace will cost to replace our 30 year old furnace. He arrived on time and worked efficiently getting measurements to match our existing space and conditions. He was though and explained our options of furnaces Trane has to offer. He completed his estimate on site and costs of replacement, emailing us a copy of the written estimate. Scott is a though, knowledgeable and efficient technician and a pleasure to work with.

Both installation techs from Area did a great job. They showed up promptly and adapted well to one or two unexpected factors in the job. (The old AC pad was too small, and they had to do some impromptu landscaping.) I had one concern with the vent airflow, which they promptly remedied. I also got some good maintenance advice and had all my questions answered. Great work.

Kurt explained every aspect of the analysis process of our 5 year old American Standard HVAC gas furnace. He scoped the heat exchanger and found a small crack forming, informed me the part warranty coverage was 20 years, and then provided a labor-only estimate. Kurt also looked into my external condensate line question ( it froze solid last February), and provided me with guidance if my insulation job wasn’t enough to prevent future freezing (e.g., plug in heat tape/strip on freezing days).

3/19/2025 Update:
Area Heating and Kurt replaced the faulty Trane clamshell heat exchanger ( multiple small cracks were found) within three hours at a great price (several hundred dollars, which is based on a flat rate for hours of labor required). I highly recommend everyone on the Area Heating team for a great job!

Our heating unit containing our electric filters was not indicating it was lit. Michael Deloris called Kurt wood’s team of technicians who came today and found the unit was NOT connecting on all points. Kurt closed the unit cleanly and connected with all units. He provided an after installation review and found the furnace. Performing as set by the thermostat. Thanks for holding our hand. It’s working beautifully.

James came out to give me an estimate on replacing our gas furnace. Area Heating gave me a 2 hour window from 2:00 to 4:00 as to when I could expect James. He called 30 minutes before he would be at our house and was there on time at 2:10. James was friendly, personable, and very knowledgeable. He was thorough and answered all of my questions. This was the first time I have had any contact with Area Heating and my impression of the company based on my interaction with James was excellent.
