We diagnosed a leak in the main service to our house Saturday evening. Gianni was there by noon on Sunday to confirm our diagnosis. Walked us through the options and took care of the rest including permitting, drilling and refitting everything in our parking strip and meter. He communicated everything and followed up. You never want a leak like this, but Gianni made it effortless and almost enjoyable.

I requested a quote for a simple stub out with valve, on an existing gas line meter accessible from the driveway outside wall. They said it would be $99 diagnostic fee just to show up and look at it because “a licensed plumber” had to be summoned for gas work.
I said, “So you want me to pay you $99 so that I may have the privilege of paying you even more?”
They said it’s refundable if I have them do the work. Well, nothing is broke or leaking. There’s no diagnosis. They saw the photo. Would take about 30 mins tops.
So I’d be cautious hiring someone if you’re possibly not even going to get a licensed plumber in another situation (I thought even apprentices had to be with a licensed plumber). They’re playing the “cherry picking game” where you feel like you have to get your $99 back…

I’ve seen this game before - if it’s not a “big job” like new construction or a big bathroom remodel - they don’t really want this little stuff so they want their 99 bucks for their “trouble” in case it’s something they don’t want to do or over charge to do it.
They’ll leave the little jobs to the local guys who can build relationships.. so local is the route I chose- and you’ll see my review of those guys when I get it done.

I called Mr Rooter for a bathroom faucet I couldn’t get off. I was hoping to get someone quick & they didn’t disappoint. I called in the later afternoon snd was able to get someone out first thing the next morning. Jeremy H was able to quickly diagnose the problem as a valve that with time had more or less stopped working properly. He had the part with him & quickly fixed it. He even showed me what was wrong & what he did since I was interested. Very fast, professional & friendly service. I highly recommend. After he was done & I tried the faucet I couldn’t believe how easy it turned. It was night & day. Jeremy also offered some advise for future precautions on other pluming issues.

This was the 2nd time in less than a month I’ve needed to have service in my home (due to our errors), and once again the service was phenomenal! Alex arrived quickly and explained how to use the tool I needed to use and fixed it right away, and didn’t charge anything for the visit. That was a wonderful surprise and he was so kind and helpful! What a great team you have there, thank you so much!

We called on Christmas Eve and Garrett was on site within the hour. Very impressive.
He assessed the blockage gave us 3 options to clear the blockage.
He performed the work, asked if i wanted to watch the camera twice and explained what i was looking at very clearly so I could understand what I was looking at. Garret is well trained,knowleable and respresented Mr. Rooter with proffesionalism.
You should very proud to have him on your service team.

Today Blair Leonard arrived, on time and was super professional. If all your employees are like these folks, it is very easy to recommend your company, and I will whenever possible.

On our first rainy day in our new house it was apparent that all of the rain drains were backing up, effectively delivering all the water from the roof to right next to the foundation. We had standing water next to the house on three sides.

I called Mr.Rooter and got Alex, who came out to the house and checked things out. He was clear about setting expectations for what he could do and what next steps might be if he wasn’t able to get things draining without excavation. I was given a clear quote. Alex was able to clear the lines all around the house, but the system was a dead end. Alex contacted the city to find out where it was supposed to drain to. It turns out those cutouts in the curb were what the system was supposed to be connected to but clearly wasn’t!

At this point because excavation would be required, Alex got Joe’s team to come out, plan the best way to drain to the street, and give us a bid. I forgot everybody’s names but would like to thank everyone who worked on this project. They were able to excavate from the corner of our system along the driveway, underneath the sidewalk and through the curb to drain to the street with a minimum of disturbance. They made a new cut out rather than trying to go to the one on the far side of the property, which would have been far more expensive and invasive. They used good materials, were kind and helpful, worked hard and cleaned up well after the job was finished.
I appreciated the clarity and communication along every step of the way and that in the end we have a fully functional drainage system for the house.

After another vendor (Apollo Plumbing) canceled on us three days in a row, we reached out to Mr. Rooter for the possibility of last minute same-day service. They arrived within an hour! From the scheduling team to the on-site technicians, their whole team was VERY professional, courteous, and understanding. They were very thorough in their inspection, kept their work area clean and concise, offered helpful guidance, and their prices are reasonable. We will definitely use them in the future. Highly recommend!

I messed up and did not confirm early morning appt but when I called back an hour later you sent someone out a couple hours later. Greg was fantastic told me what he may or may not run into in my crawl space fortunately it was the best scenario and a simple fix this time however he did recommend I fix the issue more substantially just to be safe in the future. I appreciated he lived in the area-hiring keeping the work and $$ in Gladstone. We chatted about our kids and athletics so thank you for hiring a great family Gladstone Dad. On December 23 rd, in the afternoon all toilets and the shower drain clogged. So close to the holiday I was afraid I would not be able to get a repair tech visit. I was pleased that within one hour Blair Leonard arrived and worked hard to get the clog cleared. Success!! He is very knowledgeable and gave me an estimate for a more permanent solution. Mr Rooter is now on my phone speed dial. Thank you Blair.

First of all.. it all started about a week ago go when my toilet flooded from my upstairs into my basement, I called multiple places to have an emergency plumber come out and I was told to be about a two day. Wait then I called Mr. rooters and they were out within an hour. My toilet was able to be fixed temporarily until the piece came in which was like only a day it took about a day but because my work schedule it had wait until I had to wait until almost a week because of my schedule and Brian had fixed my toilet. He did an amazing job amazing customer service and I highly recommend Mr. routers and like I said Brian was he was a great guy and we really appreciate everything he did.

We have used Mr. Rooter on several occasions and have always been happy with the service, but this experience was truly above and beyond. On New Year’s Eve, our toilet arrived a week early, and when I called, they told me they could have someone out within an hour—to install it on New Year’s Eve!

While he was here, he also detected a leak in our basement, and we mentioned a backed-up shower. We were quickly scheduled for the following Monday, when the team came out and worked their magic.

I highly recommend Jeremy Hicks and Chris Moore—they were superb technicians and genuinely great guys. (That’s Jeremy working on New Year’s Eve!)

We had Chris from Mr. Rooter visit our home to clear out a few drains - Chris was extremely professional, helpful, and informative. He was great about making recommendations for future services without being pushy about them. We’ll definitely consider Mr. Rooter for future plumbing needs.

The plumber for my home warranty couldn’t come out for over 10 days. He was at my house for 2 hours, couldn’t get the clog, and left me with a $900 estimate for new plumbing to try and get to the clog. HE recommended Mr. Rooter! I called at 5pm on a Friday, they said someone could make it out that same evening! Alex from Mr. Rooter got the clog out in 15 minutes, without needing to cut metal pipes or anything the other guy was saying I needed to do. Not only that, Alex was so kind and funny and had such a positive attitude. SO WORTH IT! I’m so grateful!

Mr. Rooter was able to come same day and I was only able to call around 1:40pm.
My technician, Atreyu Sondergaard was here within the 1hr window, which they offered.
Introduced himself at the front door, put on boot covers, asked more about my problem and got right to work. What a great addition to your team. Even though it might have been the worst blockage he'd ever seen. It didn't deter Atreyu.
We just had to figure out how to proceed. With determination and patience Atreyu was finally able to get things running again.
We turned on all the faucets to flush it completely before he showed me the final video all the way to the sewer.

Atreus was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He told me what he was doing while he was doing it. He cleared out a mainline plug that I had worked on for hours! He also brought a garage sink up to code. I enjoyed talking to him. He’s a friendly guy. Thanks for your work today!

Nicholas and Jason did a great job of problem solving to fix our shower drain and venting issue. Their solution passed inspection with flying colors! They were friendly, courteous and efficient. They arrived within a couple hours of my call. Worked for me!

It’ not usually fun when I have to call a plumber but Chris Moore from Mr Rooter really makes it painless. I have a son that is really rough on plumbing so this is the second time i’ve had to call to have my sewer line cleaned out in the last 7 months. I asked for Chris specifically since he had done the trouble shooting the last time and he was so helpful. When he got to my house he had remembered the situation from before so he went right to work clearing the line. He then fixed 2 other problems that I mentioned just out of the kindness of his heart. My bill this time was less than the last time since he remembered what he had needed to do before so that was a relief. I highly recommend Chris at Mr Rooter.
