Every experience with them has been professional, honest, and exceptional from start to finish.

Paul and Sam provided a solid 5 star experience installing my new furnace, it really couldn’t have been any smoother from start to finish! I felt like Paul, the company owner, dropped everything to make sure I had heat back asap and the entire scope of work, from the bad news my old furnace wasn’t repairable, to the finished installation of a new one was only 24 hours, speed pretty unheard of in this day and age. Thanks also to Brett for gently delivering the bad news and Kelly for all her support behind the scenes. I couldn’t be happier with the final outcome and the price ended up being much lower than I originally anticipated.

Situation: I'm replacing a 20-year old dual fuel range with another dual fuel range. The pre-install inspection identified that the gas line needed to be moved about 18 inches from the middle of the old range to the back of the counter cut out.

I called Chase Heating & Cooling, received a quote and an appointment. Paul and his crew (Brian and Sam) showed up right on time, worked professionally and quickly. They took great care of protecting the wooden floor and rugs. After reinstalling the range and testing the gas line, they proceeded to light the pilots that went out when the gas was shut off.

If I need additional work like this, Chase will be my first call.

We have been working with Chase for the last couple years now and they are always great in terms of communication and professionalism. They come do our regular services and just replaced our furnace with a very quick turnaround, which was much appreciated.

Our 20± year old AC Compressor gave up the ghost after a brutal weekend of +100° days here in Portland in late August. I reached out to 4 local HVAC companies for estimates and the decision was clear; Chase offered the best equipment, best price, best warrantee, and best service conditions. I even ran all the data through ChatGPT to verify the complex data. They didn't try to "sell me" on any of this by the way - unlike some of the other companies did (very off-putting).

Paul (the owner) is awesome and truthful. Very responsive to our questions and concerns. The techs Samuel and Bryan were here on time, and did great work and made sure that everything was up and running after the install on our working furnace.

My dad had a system installed last year, and he recommended I reach out to them, which I am glad I did.

The new thermostat was initially installed off center and not level. I quick mention of that, and the tech corrected the visual issue.

I do have a concern that the new thermostat they installed is an older model, and reviews very poorly on it's own manufacturer's site (Honeywell, 1/5 stars by a mile). I'll keep an eye on this and if that component doesn't work out, I have no doubt Chase will take care of it. Minor concern that the furnace service did not include a new filter, but I'll hop down to the hardware store and pick one up.

Price-wise, the highest bid came in at over $12,000 (no thank you!). Our total out of pocket with Chase was substantially lower by nearly $5,000. 2025 prices are crazy but it is what it is thanks to the way things are here in Portland, OR, USA.

The crew arrived exactly on time and completed the total job almost 2 hours early.
They left my house completely clean. Very friendly and professional.
I can only recommend Ben’s Heating and AC to anybody looking to replace their furnace or a/c units at a very affordable price.

Donovan came and did my yearly inspection. Wore shoe covers without asking, knew how to appropriately respond to excited dogs. Was quick and communicative. No complaints and will definitely have them back next year for the annual inspection.

Jason came out to diagnose a AC issue. Arrived right on time, was extremely friendly and professional, quickly solved my problems. One of the best interactions I've ever had with a technical service business.

Called Ben’s with a really big need and even bigger ask, Alison said “sure no problem!” And it truly was no problem for them. I’m so happy to have found them. They were able to get us worked into the schedule next day too! Thank you Ben’s and Alison!!

I highly recommend the team at Ben’s Heating & Air Conditioning! They are always prompt and kind and very professional! They serviced my furnace and air conditioner. When they found something needed to be fixed on my furnace, After confirming that the price was OK with me, they located the part, went out and got it came back and fixed the issue. I was very impressed.

Ben’s Heating did a great job! Fair prices, good communicators, and very thoughtful about working around our 4 month old! Everyone we worked with - including Tyler and Spencer- were incredibly professional and kind. We had to replace our full unit and they were never pushy, just informative. I trusted their advice because they were honest about which unit we needed, ie not the most expensive one. Highly recommend.

Fantastic company and high quality service! Our A/C unit died right as the hot weather rolled in, of course. The tech, Joe, came out a few days later and confirmed that our unit had outlived its lifespan and should be replaced. Tyler was out that same day and ran through our options. He was not pushy and I felt comfortable trusting his explanations and recommendations. We had to wait a few weeks before the install could happen which was understandable since this is the busy season.
So fast forward to today when our wonderful technicians, Nick and Spencer, arrived and got straight to work. They walked us through everything they were doing and were very careful with their work. They were professional and respectful and did an amazing job. The install took about 7.5 hours to install a new A/C and furnace along with a thermostat.
The whole experience was great. Highly recommend this company.

Could not have been more impressed with their technician, Joe. He was patient, kept working until the problem was solved, and never showed signs of frustration. And, he actually fixed the furnace! No need to replace it.

I had Ben's Heating and Cooling do a mini split with ducting for my split level home. Tim and his install team of Spencer, Brian, and Donavan were so communicative and were a joy to work with. From the start of the bidding process to the completion of the job, I always felt that Ben's was a call away and I really appreciated that.

One of the biggest items though was the respect for my house. The whole team treated my space as they would their own. I have had some spotty experiences with contractors and Ben's was amazing in both quality of work and professionalism.
