Absolute nightmare experience with this company. I scheduled an appt. to have a service technician fix my Maytag washer. The technician came out and diagnosed the motor was broken, so he pulled it and said he would order one to install. He ordered one that wasn't correct and then basically said that was all he could do. So I ordered one myself on Ebay and when it arrived I called Mr. Appliance to schedule the install. The appt. time came and went and no one showed up or called. I left a message with their office asking what happened. No one ever called back, so after 10 days I found another company to come out to install the motor I had purchased.

The second company installed the motor and the machine still didn't work. The technician thought it might be the timer. I called Mr. Appliance again, to discuss the fact that the motor wasn't actually broken and that their tech had taken a switch and the screws so the old motor was now basically useless. They sent a different tech out and he repaired the washer. It was actually a $30 switch. I had expected to be reimbursed for the motor ($250), as well as the install ($270), but the manager told me the machine is fixed now so too bad. They didn't charge me for the 3rd visit and the $30 switch. I had already paid $130 for the initial appt. so ended up paying over $500 and weeks of time going to a laundry mat waiting for the motor I didn't need and their technicians to actually show up. Terrible business ethics.

Very fast response time. Michael our technician was awesome. I'm keeping his card on the fridge. Next time I need a repair I'm calling Mr. Appliance. My washing machine is running great with the new part installed.

My experience with Mr. Appliance has been excellent. I recently had an issue while cleaning our ice maker. Making the appointment was efficient and they scheduled my service appointment for the next day. Ron arrived within the window of time I was given. He was professional and helpful with my concern. Will definitely call Mr. Appliance if/when have an issue with an appliance in the future.

Michael from Mr. Appliance was fantastic. Not only did he expertly fix my washing machine, but he also took the time to explain the issue to me in a friendly and approachable way. His professionalism and positive attitude made the whole experience so much better. Highly recommend his service.

DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY IF YOU'RE IN A HURRY. It quickly became apparent that the woman answering the seemingly-local number is in a call center far outside of Portland. Despite her saying there'd be someone available that same morning, between 8-12, I received a message two hours later that they could not get me in that morning, that afternoon or even the next day. Massive disconnect to have the person answering the phones not even be aware. With a broken refrigerator and a clock ticking while we try to save hundreds of dollars of food, losing that couple hours was extremely frustrating. They need to fix the way they schedule appointments so that the disconnect between their scheduler and their technicians doesn't mislead people.

Technician arrived timely as scheduled, diagnosed and installed new heating element with expertise and thoughtfully spliced and replaced brittle wiring and worn connectors. I appreciate his skill, workmanship and attention to detail.

Jeff diagnosed and then fixed my oven once the part was in. He took the entire oven door apart for me so that I could clean 10 years worth of gunk off of it and he was so patient while I worked on it. Everything is working perfectly now This company is super organized and always texted me updates and even a picture of my technician, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend them and will probably use them again, but I hope I won't need to!!
