This company is top notch! They respond quickly and are incredibly knowledgeable. We have used them a few times. Once for a roof repair with major water damage and just recently for a mildew and mold issue in our laundry room. I can’t recommend Andy and his crew enough! Well done.

Andy and his team are the best! When we first bought our house, the previous resident had let their animals use the entire house as their toilet. We tried cleaning it ourselves but it was hopeless. Then I found Pure Environmental, and they saved our house! They did a wonderfully thourough job and there have been absolutely no residual odors ever since. They even noticed a place that most likely had mold in the wall because of the pooling urine, and they were correct, it did—They were able to remove and replace the moldy wall, and did a great job at that too. We have since hired them two more times, once for odors and leaking in the back outbuilding, and again most recently to help us with a flooding basement. They always get the work done quickly, it’s always done as promised, and they never try to pad the bill with extra unnecessary work (as we had others try to do in their estimates). Andy and his team are the best, and you should not hesitate to hire them!

As a business person myself, I appreciate solid communication. From the beginning, Andy was an exceptional communicator. I explained the issue I have with a 14 year old female dog who doesn't always make it to her potty tray. Her tray, which has pee pads on it, sits on top of a floor that is covered in man-made tile. I was thoroughly cleaning up after her but some residual urine stayed in the grout lines. Additionally, the urine odor got into the home's air intake vent so when the furnace was in use, the smell of dog urine was permeating the house. Andy was able to come up with a workable plan at what I considered a very cost-effective rate. His employee, Nate, arrived on-time, was professional and thorough, so I was impressed! My house no longer smells like dog urine and I have a plan to eliminate any more dog pee in the grout lines. I'm a very happy client, will send referrals, and call again with any other issues!! :)

My husband contacted this company as well as other contractors when we first discovered cat urine all throughout the home we had just purchased. Pure environmental was the only company to get down on their hands and knees and investigate where damage was located. Andy, the owner, was the one to do this and he was able to show us places we were unaware of. Not only was his knowledge base of this type of damage phenomenal, but his bid came in much lower than the other guys. My husband hired him and we were so glad we did. We stopped by on numerous occasions during the cleaning of our house and each time we were met with courteous and professional staff. Andy’s team was able to fully restore our home to better than the original condition. This company is trustworthy, liable, and really good at what they do.

I don't want to sound overly dramatic, but Andy is a miracle worker. We had tenants in our rental property that decided to run a pet sitting business out of our house. The smell was just foul, but Andy came in and was able to get our house back to springtime fresh! He was fast, friendly, responsive, and for the quality of work, very affordable. Seriously, I can not recommend him enough.

Andy figured out the problem right away and gave me options of what might be done. After doing the work he recommended, the lung problems went away and have not come back. We hired Pure Environmental - Oregon to restore the interior of an ADU we own in N Portland following a small fire from a defective bath fan. There was a lot of smoke damage to surfaces and attic insulation along with some impact to floors and framing; also the complexity of interfacing with the current tenant and her insurance remediation company.

Andy Eberly stepped right up and helped us understand the insurance claim process and provided a clear and fair estimate for the work. He was great to work with and really supported us in maximizing what could legitimately be covered by our insurance. His knowledge of this process was priceless.

We took advantage of the disruption to completely upgrade the bathroom, floors and trim throughout the apartment. Andy and his crew did very clean and professional work - the end result was outstanding. During the process, Andy was both efficient and fun to work with, as was his entire crew. He's super relaxed, a fabulous communicator, and inspired a lot of confidence. We were consistently able to collaborate with Andy and crew to resolve technical challenges on the fly, always arriving at optimal solutions together. The new space is beautiful.

Turns out I had a hot water leak in the crawlspace. I am so grateful the first person that came out to take a look knows Andy Eberly and the Pure Environmental guys. Andy came out within 30 minutes and immediately got to work. I knew it was going to be a big deal when he started placing fans at the crawlspace vents. The crawlspace had severe water damage and there was mold growth. I didn’t know whether to cry or throw up. Andy and the guys at Pure Environmental were a godsend. They removed the mold, addressed the water damage and remodeled both damaged bathrooms. It was a big deal. Throughout it all, Andy and the guys were amazing. They left my house clean after each day of work. They were transparent about the scope of work and responsive to my many questions. They are very skilled at what they do. I have two beautiful remodeled bathrooms and a dry crawlspace as proof. I hope you don’t have to deal with water damage, but if you do, I highly recommend Pure Environmental. They are experts at what they do and really good human beings to boot.

Andy & his team at Pure Environmental quickly assessed the damage from an overflowing toilet on the 2nd story of our home. The damage was pretty severe as the toilet had been overflowing for eight hours while nobody was home. The water flowed into our garage which ruined the ceilings and some of our personal belongings. Pure environmental has an amazing team of skilled contractors that came into our home & restored both the garage & the bathroom to better than new conditions! They went above & beyond to make sure that the reconstruction of our bathroom was to our liking. We never felt unsafe having anyone from Andy’s team enter our home. Each of them remained professional & courteous throughout the repair process. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an honest, hardworking company that gets the job done.

We have worked with Andy and his crew at 5+ locations and are continuously impressed with the depth of his expertise, professionalism and response time. We brought in Pure Environmental to provide a second opinion after our first mitigation team wanted to rip out and replace our entire kitchen following a flood from our dishwasher. Thankfully, we did. PE valued the quality of our old, high-quality cabinetry and recommended saving everything possible. They cut out only the necessary damp and damaged areas and kept the rest. It was comforting to know a company would understand the craftsmanship of older homes (1926) and not replace everything simply for a higher payout.

Our project manager, Paul, was superb. He worked with insurance, directed subcontractor traffic, kept us calm, and even answered a call while on family vacation. Their subcontractors are extremely trustworthy, knowledgeable, and professional. Their wood flooring expert actually explained the history of our wood floors and the approx. year they were first incorporated into the house.

Overall, the Pure Environmental team provided the confidence and comfort we required. They're easy to work with, they respected our home, and are genuinely kind people.
