The team at Dennis 7 Dees did a stellar job re-landscaping my property starting with Kelly who was able to understand and articulate what I envisioned to designer Michael and keep the work on schedule and on budget. Brady completely charmed my neighbors around some overgrowth through a section of fence that could have easily become a source of tension. I was also very impressed with the energy and teamwork of Tarson and Angel throughout the site prep. Then there was Willem who tied all the loose ends together and made sure the property was in pristine condition at the end of the project. Great job everyone. If you want a premium service, that is exactly what you get with Dennis 7 Dees. Five stars. I highly recommend this team to anyone in need of some curb appeal and a fresh look to their yard. Seven Dees just finished our landscape renovation project, and it turned out absolutely fantastic, in fact better than we expected. We had a sloped yard full of trees that was only 1/2 usable for us. Kelly Paxton and his team designed a terraced yard that is gorgeous. We added irrigation, lighting and a patio to our plan. The renovation now allows us to totally utilize our space. Kelly was amazing to work with. He accommodated our many changes and was always quick to respond. Our foreman Gerardo and his crew worked tirelessly for two months on this project, from the hottest summer days through the rainy fall. They were the hardest working group of people I have ever seen. They moved a lot of rock and dirt to transform our yard, the before and after pictures prove it. From the beginning of the project to the end the whole experience was a joy. Thank you, Kelly and crew, you were the best!

We really enjoyed working with Jonah for the design, and the crew that installed our new landscaping were top-notch: friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and hard-working. Thanks Bart, Tyler, Moses, and John!

My second project through 7 D’s has just been completed. My first project was done two years ago. From start to finish, can’t say enough about the service provided, the crew was timely and courteous and did a fabulous job. I did my homework on cost and found it to be very competitive.Love my new landscaping!

Maintenance has been exactly what we expected. Communication has been great and we are happy with the way our yard is looking. We also have done a few one off projects that turned out great. Super helpful, on time, and looks great! Thanks Sean, Raul, Eduardo and team...would recommend to anyone.

2025 Edit: Just had Dennis' 7 Dees back for another project. See below for review from 2021. This year, we had them come out and run more drip irrigation (including under the sidewalk to our sidewalk strip), move some river rock out of our sidewalk strip, build a path in the sidewalk strip from the street to the sidewalk, add dirt to the sidewalk strip and plant some groundcover, create edging around our fence line in the backyard, and repair a seriously messed up old brick patio. Plus they moved some plants for me from my front yard to the back where there is more shade, and planted 3 new trees in the backyard (a magnolia, a hinoki cypress, and a gorgeous Japanese maple). Lars again did a great job with his recommendations and the estimate, always nice to work with. And Juan, the site leader, and his crew did a tremendous job. My yard look so great! They're also still doing periodic projects for my parents at their house. So I guess you could say my whole family continues to recommend them.

We decided to hire Dennis' 7 Dees after they did my parents' landscaping and that project turned out beautifully. My parents were really happy with the result and their experience. From the moment I talked to Lars Nielsen it was so easy, he was all "we can do it! Whatever your budget, let's get it done!" and he came up with a great design for our small front yard. Always happy to answer my questions, the customer service was just spectacular. The crew that did the install was amazing, they did a fabulous job, even pulling out a monster of a tree stump that was truly a beast. They were also really friendly, cleaned everything up at the end of each day's work. And they worked fast, whole project only took 3 days, including installing a drip irrigation system. Already multiple neighbors have complimented the yard and asked us who did it. Check out the before/during/after pictures. All in all we're thrilled - with our experience working with Dennis' 7 Dees and how our yard turned out. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and likely will when it comes time to finally tackle the backyard!

I worked with Lars from start to finish. He listened to my goals and concerns for the two long, narrow terraces and the results proved he was paying attention! Early in the process, he provided not just a LIST of plants he had in mind, but an image of each which was super helpful. From those pics, I easily spotted one plant I wasn't crazy about and he swapped it without missing a beat. His knowledge of plants - right off the top of his head - was shocking! His friendly fast team stripped, enriched, planted, irrigated, and barked the terraces in two days. TWO. DAYS. My pics aren't great but you can see the transformation was fantastic! Lars provided a care-and-feeding guide which will make the maintenance much easier and I'll feel confident following his guidance. I trust him when he tells me he is available to answer questions and offer guidance in the future since that's exactly what he has done thus far. We are super happy!

Justin and several of his crews have completely transformed our 2 acre property. The landscaping is beautiful and we couldn’t be happier! Large trees, beautiful plants, complete irrigation system, rocks and more. They also created a large patio with raised planter boxes, an outdoor kitchen, and a retaining wall for the shop. The quality of work was great and all the people were fantastic.

I cannot recommend Austin enough! They transformed my yard from a bland, grass-filled space into a stunning outdoor retreat (see before/after pics). From the very beginning, they helped guide the design process, offering thoughtful advice and staying attentive to every detail.

They worked with me to understand the vision I had—answering all my questions, adjusting plans when needed, and suggesting creative solutions to keep things within budget. I really appreciated their flexibility in allowing the project to be completed in stages without compromising the end result.

Juan and his crew amazing. They asked questions without being intrusive and realized our vision for our front yard perfectly. They were extremely efficient, nice, and hard working. They got the job done in the timeframe agreed upon and we couldn’t be happier with their work!

3 years ago, I hired Justin Snodgrass from Dennis’ 7 Dees to landscape the house I was remodeling. The job was large as we were completely starting from scratch, including a 4 tiered retaining wall spanning the width of the back yard.
I had a lot of design ideas and needed to have Justin go at my pace, because the project was so fluid and the amount of changes, revisions, and complete new direction ideas were bound to happen. And they did.
The project is 99% done, and I could not be happier. Not only did Justin and his incredible crew meet my expectations, but they went above and beyond.
I have never worked with a more professional crew, that worked year round in literally every extreme weather that Oregon can deliver.
Beyond planting, they built beautiful retaining walls, stairs, patios, walking paths, garden paths, a pond, plumbing, irrigation, lighting, they installed a large sculpture, etc.
On top of that, they kept their eyes on my wandering Beagle and always made sure doors and gates were closed to keep him safe.
Justin and the crew were incredible to work with. They all have showed the utmost in professional attitude and workmanship, and always came to work with great attitudes.
They also cleaned up every single day at the end of their day. There was never, ever, a piece of trash on the job site.
I cannot recommend Justin and 7 Dees highly enough. I give them a 10 out of 10.

Lars and Shalina were absolutely lovely to work with! This was my second project with Dennis' 7 Dees and my entire family works with them as well for their homes. For the most recent project, we needed a major refresh for our front and side yard. There were sebums everywhere from the previous owners and they needed to go. Lars did a wonderful job guiding me through options because I don't know much about plants. The proposal was easy to follow and he communicated every step of the way. We even got the project scheduled in less than 2 weeks and it only took 1.5 days to complete. Shalina led the on-site work and was really amazing and so nice. I look forward to our next project with Dennis' 7 Dees and would HIGHLY recommend them for your next project.

Our project kicked off with a desire to replace the natural grass sod in our backyard with a turf option. After connecting with our eventual Landscape Designer, Austin, we were able to talk through what we wanted and overall design aesthetic we were looking for. What started as a desire for turf, culminated in our dream backyard design. The design that Austin come up with met all of our expectations. His communication and expertise brought a level of assurance to the project that left us feeling good about the project through ever phase. Scott the Project Super and Gilberto the Project Foreman, were both great to work with as well. We are so happy with the result of the project. The combination of functional use of the turf, for the dogs, the Japanese garden themed plantings, and the modern stone work, has truly created that resort feeling in our backyard that we have the pleasure of enjoying everyday since. Knowing that I can reach out to the team if there are ever any questions or concerns is simply the cherry on top of what we see as a complete dream come true design come to life!

Communication was awful. Services were not on par with the prices being charged. If you are considering a project with them reconsider, especially if it is labor intensive. You will be charge the full amount of the agreed to price estimate, with little proof that they were at your home completing the job. Get an extremely detailed contract if you decide to work with them. 2 men were at our home for 3 days. They claimed 82 hours of work at $85/hour. When I questioned the hours. I was told they charged driving time. After paying over $7000, the project manager did tell me he could come back again to take care of any items of concern. However, he had already been back to the house the week before to take care of the below items. The plant rebate was no rebate, it was me finding the plant $130 less for sale on the 7 Dees Website.These are all photos AFTER they performed a fall clean up for us. Pruning, weeding, cleaning all beds. Branches were left behind, dead weeds, and most of the landscape untouched. Avoid 7 Dees.

We’ve had Josh out for a couple or irrigation projects and he’s done an excellent job. Very communicative and accountable. Will be using them for future projects!

Update: went to turn my system on and it turned out when fixing the last one they broke another one. Unfortunately this pattern of fixing and breaking has been the norm with them and after three projects I’m moving on to a new service. Also could not find our valves after hours of looking - new guy found it in 5 minutes with his tracer. No words.

guess its true on Yelp reviews..i left several messages this week on several diff days and no one had the courtesy to return those calls...would stay away from this business

Called with a question about possible rodent problem, the front desk lady was very unhelpful. Said no one is here to help you and didn't even take my name and number for a call back when one of the service techs got back in the office. Could of been possible work for them. Will not recommend them.
