Dean Beckman did service at 2 different houses for us and was a real pleasure to deal with. He was good at troubleshooting for one problem we needed fixed quickly and explained what he was doing. Highly recommend both him and Climate Control.

Working with climate control was so easy. Anthony was right on time, very efficient, and most pleasant. He took time to explain his assessment of the AC system and identify problems encountered. I look forward to seeing him again in the fall when the heating system needs a check up.

I was a long-time client of Climate Control for twice yearly HVAC service and trusted them to help when the temperature in my office suddenly became drastically unbalanced, one side sweltering, the other freezing. Over the course of two years, I paid for three separate diagnostic visits, each one essentially repeating the same ineffective steps (adjusting dampers) without investigating the root cause.
Eventually, I was told that the only solution would be to replace the entire HVAC system or all the ductwork, a major investment. Out of desperation, I brought in a different HVAC company. Within a short time, they identified the actual issue: the zones in the office had been switched, something that occurred during one of Climate Control's earlier visits. This mistake caused the system to work against itself, making the problem worse over time and leading to unnecessary stress on the system.
When I brought this to Climate Control’s attention and asked for one of the three diagnostic charges to be waived, given that I had spent thousands correcting an issue they had caused, I was met with a complete lack of accountability. Rather than engage in a meaningful conversation, the front desk threatened collections while I was still trying to speak with someone in charge.
When I finally did speak with management, I was told they "just don’t agree" that anything wrong had happened and that my choosing to go elsewhere for help invalidated my concerns. There was no acknowledgment of how poorly this was handled, no ownership of the initial mistake, and no effort to retain a loyal customer.
This experience was deeply disappointing. I’m sharing it so that others can make informed decisions and hopefully avoid the costly, frustrating experience I went through.

I had a heat pump die and a technician came out quickly to diagnose the problem. I’d expected the equipment to be at the end of life, so they were able to get a consultant out that day to go over options. The job was scheduled and completed within the two allotted days, the equipment has been running flawlessly, and everyone was very professional, friendly, and informative. Happy to be a repeat customer of Climate Control, thanks y’all!

Climate Control replaced my aging HVAC unit with a heat pump and also oversaw replacement of a water heater located in the same utility closet space. It was a great project! You can tell that Steve and Lance are very experienced at these types of installations and completed it on time with minimal disruptions. I can't wait to enjoy reduced utility bills with my new heat pump. I encourage anyone seeking an HVAC contractor to consider Climate Control.

Grant B. Performed the semi-annual service on my residential heat pump. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his work. Grant was able to explain his findings and make recommendations very clearly. I recommend Grant and Climate Control to anyone looking for top-notch HVAC services.

They did a fine job on installing the unit but the installed stepped on my new washer and dryer and dented both of them. I had reached out to the management team. The management team said they will replace or pay part of my dryer and washer but never heard back after 2 years. I reached out again and no one would reply or take responsibility. Very disappointing!

I recently moved to Portland and contacted Climate Control in order to have an inspection on the heat pump. Ian arrived at the scheduled appointment time and provided routine maintenance. He was very thorough, and explained what was needed as well as providing me with information regarding a different thermostat, should I wish to make a change at the next maintenance date. Ian was polite, professional and I appreciated that he put protective covers over his shoes! I would definitely recommend Climate Control for all your heating and cooling needs.

Unfortunately I have to downgrade this review. Our AC unit is NOT working. We’ve had it only a month snd it’s failing to regulate a cool temperature. A technician did come once. Added Ed coolant and said it might be a leak? We have to wait and see??
Well It failed yesterday (Saturday) and I could not get anyone to respond. When I called the office I was told they would reply on next business day! Meanwhile it’s going to be 90 degrees out.
We trusted and invested in this business and now feel betrayed. We are stuck and very disappointed!

These guys are real pros. They know what they're doing and were easy to work with. My job had some close tolerances Due to the small utility room that it was installed in and they worked hard to get it right.

Had a great experience with Climate Control, servicing my furnace and heat pump. Grant did a great job. He came up with a good solution to keep my heat pump running efficiently for a few more years. My heating system works much better now, and my electric and gas costs have stabilized.

Wow, I can't say enough good things about technician Grant B. He arrived early, asked me how I was doing, wore shoe slip covers without being asked, and immediately got to work on the A/C maintenance. Grant is very knowledgeable and showed me a detailed analysis of his findings on the air conditioning system. He recommended a couple needed repairs and provided a quote soon after. I am very impressed by Grant and Climate Control in general. This is a business that hires top notch technicians who know their craft. When you contact Climate Control, request Grant B. to do your maintenance and you won't be disappointed!

The Climate Control team helped to install a new furnace in my home. They were recommended by my neighbor and did not disappoint. Brett walked through sales options and provided extremely helpful advice from his personal experience of owning different types of furnaces. He was patient with multiple requests for different quotes.

Sergio and Luiz were friendly and efficient. They did an awesome job with the installation. Their explanations were really helpful and they were open to fielding all of my questions. Even the city inspector was impressed with their work!

I am a long time Climate Control Client. I had a repair done on Friday as I had no heat when got home. The heat worked for 12 hours and stopped in the middle of the night. It was cold.
I called the emergency number hourly for 3 hours. The answering service continued to tell me to wait for a call. ( The website advertises 24/7 emergency service) Finally I got hold of a supervisor who admitted there was no one on call and they had no explanation for why this was the case.
I finally gave up and contacted Sunset Heating and Cooling who arrived promptly and addressed the issue.
It is appalling to advertise emergency services that they do not offer. And to have an answering service that delivers false and misleading information. I will never do business with this group again. I have received no apology from the company. They called me today on Monday to schedule a service call and the scheduler was at a loss to say why they advertise a service that they do not actually offer. Basically it was "I just work here"

Anthony was prompt and spent a lot of time explaining our system and helping establish new phone app. He was professional and did a great job of serving our heat pump and furnace.

Ian was our technician today… he explained to me a lot of things about how my unit works more efficiently.. And cleaned filters and lines.. I’m very happy with the service and recommend Climate Control to all my friends! So glad we got this unit in our condo!

Working with Brett on our cooling solution was great. He was knowledgeable and was able to help me with the right solution. The installers were on time, professional, and attentive. They made sure to double check before installing on where everything went. They raised our furnace and recommended a filter box, which I didn’t even know we needed. Not only is our house cooler, but also much better air quality. Recommend 100%
