What a company! My neighbor and I was looking for a chimney company to do some work for both of us. After a few no call backs and no shows for estimates from other companies my neighbor finally contacted Oregon Chimney. Not only did they show up, but they were on time. I had to work that day, so my neighbor had them do the estimate on my place for me. When I got home my neighbor gave me my estimate and I was quite pleased at the amount.

Great company to work with and since my neighbor and I was getting work done at the same time, they even gave us a discount. What a company! Our jobs were scheduled for a few weeks out, but they called me and asked if they could start early. I was pleasantly surprised and was happy to have them start as soon as they could. The work was completed in a timely fashion and my chimney never looked better (they had to rebuilt my chimney). The workers cleaned up everything and left my yard and roof as it was before they started the work, CLEAN! Good job all around.

We're very satisfied with our experience with Oregon Chimney Repair. Jeff gave us a clear and easy-to-understand bid, and the work was scheduled soon after, weather permitting. The day Joey came to do the chimney work we didn't even know he was here! He removed and replaced tiles, removed moss, ground out and regrouted the damaged sections (dyeing the mortar to match), applied waterproof cement to some areas, and will return in a few days to apply sealant. He did a great job and left our place spotless. It's great to know that we have a 5-year warranty as well!

Noah was very honest and told me that the chimney didn't need to be clean at the moment. He inspected the structure of the chimney and charged only for that inspection. He was also punctual and well prepared for the swipe he never performed. I will call this company again for any cleaning or repairing of my chimney. Thanks. Juan C.

They did a good job when demoing my chimney and hauling away the bricks. Didn't do so good on installing a weatherproof barrier. They only brought 1 piece of plywood which was insufficient to cover the opening in the wall. Also didn’t provide any materials to cover the hole in the ground (for safety). I provided additional plywood to finish covering the wall and cover the hole.They did help install heavy duty plastic I had, to cover the interior hole to prevent anything from coming into the house.

Oregon Chimney took down our chimney and patched in the roof in a day and a half. Techs were quick to come out and give an estimate and had great pricing. The team was very response over text and and flexible with our changing schedule. Definitely recommend!

I had Oregon Chimney out to tear down and rebuild my chimneys because one of them was falling apart and rain was leaking into my ceiling. I loved getting to choose my own color bricks; the replacements chimneys are beautiful and solid craftsmanship. I still had an issue with my roof leaking around the chimney after the the work was completed. Fortunately, the team at Oregon Chimney worked hard on my issue until it was completely fixed. This looked like them wrapping it until they could fix it, repairing the flashing then coming back 2 times during hard rain to ensure it was not leaking. After all that they even came back one more time to patch the damaged dry wall in my ceiling. I worked with Jeremy, Rusty and Amber and all three were kind, patient and professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I have back to back fireplaces with 2 flues in one chimney. One of the flues has a chimney top damper which one or more woodpeckers drum on every spring. I needed some sort of solution to prevent that. Another local company that I contacted with that info wanted $391 to even come out and tell me what they could do. Oregon Chimney sent a man out at no charge. We talked over the options and he went up and examined the chimney. He told me what he could do and the approximate cost, with no pressure to do anything. I decided on a custom cap over both flues. It took about a week, but each time they came when they said they would, did what they said they'd do, for the amount they bid. I couldn't ask for anything more. Everyone I came in contact with was pleasant to deal with, and special thanks to Jennifer for being great to deal with.

Had my chimney rebuilt from roofline by Oregon Chimney this week. Have been pleased & impressed with everyone at this company. They were quick to respond to my bid request & I trusted Jeff’s assessment & the proposal seemed very reasonable. Everyone in the office that I’ve spoken to is positive & professional. Roman and Damian did a great job taking down & rebuilding my chimney, they kept me updated on the work and they cleaned up the site prior to leaving. The new chimney looks great, they did a beautiful job. I’ve used this company before and am happy to continue using them.

Oregon Chimney to the rescue! New to Portland we purchased a charming 1920’s North Portland bungalow that also came with all the fun challenges a near 100 year old home brings.

Our chimney was in dire condition, you could actually see through it. After a few bids we landed on one we felt was fair and comfortable.

Communication was what you would hope and want, very responsive. Work started and finished right on time. We have unusual bricks on our chimney and wanted to ensure these were reused. With this professional team you would have no idea our chimney was deconstructed and reconstructed, plus a nice seal to help her last another 100 years. Thank you Oregon Chimney!!

Great experience with a chimney sweep and I will definitely use them for chimney repair. I called and within 2 days, they sent someone out to give me a very reasonable estimate.

The guy who did the actual sweeping, Noah, was fantastic. He did a great job on the much more detailed than average sweep which left our fireplace actually usable. Also, he shared a bunch of super useful information about caring for our chimney since we have no idea what we’re doing.

Jeff and his crew did a wonderful job on our new Chimney. They arrived at the time they said they would and completed the job in 2 days. When I came home after they left my property, the workspace was clean without any sign of them being there. Jeff also modified a custom cap for us that provides a very clean look to the top of the home all for a very fair price. We love it! Thank you Jeff, Tyler and Oregon Chimney!

I was surprised to hear from Oregon Chimney three years after they completed work at my house. My experience with them back then was good, and I've even referred them to others.

So when they sent me a past due bill out of the blue and threatened to send me to collections over it ("I really don't wanna have to send you to collections" is a direct quote), it left a sour taste in my mouth. If they had approached me and said "Hey, we're so sorry, we just now caught this billing error," it would've been easier to stomach... or even better if they ate the loss as a learning lesson for their billing department.

Since three years has passed, I don't have the paper trail to know why this amount wasn't paid - it was $220 compared to the $3800 I did pay, by the way. They said they've tried to contact me about it since, but I have no record of that. I'm not sure why they're just now asking for it - new management? Financial trouble?

While the original service on my chimney was good, the handling of this situation has left me disappointed and reluctant to use or recommend them in the future.

We would recommend this company to anyone needing a new chimney. The outcome is exceptional, quality for the price outstanding. We have the best chimney in the area. We had a one hundred year old chimney which was leaning away from the house by 4 inches at the top and was beginning to fall apart. A friend told us about Oregon Chimney. But we all know as homeowners the nervousness that comes with trusting any contractor to work on our house: that they will overpromise and underdeliver. That somehow all those promises made on the walkthrough won’t materialize and that we will be left with something less than what we had hoped for. Not so with Jorge the master mason and his amazing team! Jorge and I reviewed the job before the work began and he listened. Certainly he also gave his expert opinion. But what was most amazing about Jorge was that he listened and remembered everything. And then continued with excellent communication and approachability all the way through the project. Everything was done as promised for the price quoted. What more could you ask for? (But wait! There’s more!) The folks at Oregon Chimney are all fantastic. The office support was excellent all the way through the project, and we are so happy with our new chimney, which was torn down all the way to the firebox and rebuilt, pretty much literally, from the ground up.
