Grant and his team were absolutely incredible in replacing our gas boiler. There were a few bumps along the way and they dealt with everything in a timely and urgent manner. If you ever need your furnace replaced, serviced, or any other heating/cooling needs, I can’t say enough nice things about the heating specialists. We have used several other firms in Portland and they are all subpar in comparison to these guys. They are pros and definitely don’t seem to pad their estimates.

Just had a new 155k BTU boiler and hot water heater installed in my home last week. Nick and Michael of the Heating Specialist worked a long day and did a very nice job installing the units, starting them up and leaving the space clean. Another technician named, Kevin followed up early the next day and got my Nest thermostat working. Very pleased with the team and happy to have my radiant heating system working again.

Reliable and consistent. Had them install furnace and AC years ago and they have maintained it well. John shows up on time and gets the job done.

I have had great repore and results with with The Heating Specialists for many years now. I use them for all repairs and maintenance services for my home's boiler and A/C unit. They give recommendations for repairs or replacement work only when needed, and without it feeling like a sales pitch. Special thanks to Billy, our most recent tech, for taking the time to talk with me regarding the work he was doing, and answering any questions I had, including some indirectly related to his assignment. It reflects well on a company when their employees consistently show up with positive and helpful attitudes, and they stick around for many years and become familiar to their clients. They have earned my trust and deserve the chance to earn yours as well.

My furnace at my 90 year old mother house went out on a Sunday. Called Heating Specialists and John was here first thing on Monday. John figured out the issue, ordered two new pressure switches and was back the following morning and got the furnace back up and running. Charlie and his Team at Comfort Heating and Cooling did a great job. This is the second system they have put in for us (two different locations in Rhododendron, OR). Complete replacement this time, plus new dehumidifier and internet accessible controller. They have been easy to work with and are always responsive to questions we have or changes we need to make. Strongly recommend them for any work you have on Mount Hood.

What a great job Jim from Comfort and Heating provided for me recently. He responded right away to my phone call about my heat pump not working. Came right out, found the problem, ordered the part while he was at my house. Before he came to install the part he called me to tell me that he was on the way!! Very prompt, friendly and efficient. Comfort installed a new heat pump system for me in early July of 2018 to replace an existing electric furnace. They had the best price, completed the work as scheduled, and the system has worked flawlessly since. I especially appreciated that Charlie, the installer (& owner) was the one who came out to do the quote and explain the process. The Ruud system is working well and has been very economical to operate for heating and cooling.

We have used Comfort Heating & Cooling for several reasons and on several of our properties. Our home furnace needed replacing. So we naturally talked to several suppliers. I selected Comfort Heating & Cooling because of the brands they offer, their service recommendtions and reviews, their honesty and their "fair" pricing. They did a great job and were very pleasent to deal with. We also recommended them to our daughter who needed a new AC. On one of our commercial properties the tenant had another company look at a non functioning AC who said the entire unit needed replacing. I sent Comfort Heating & Cooling out and in a couple of hours and for less than $400 the unit got a "part" replaced (not the whole unit), refringent added, cleaned and then tested and checked out the heating furnace at the sometime.
You will be pleased with your decision when you use them.

Charlie and his crew were amazing. We had 5 companies give us quotes on a new ductless mini-split system for our home (4 registers inside) and an ADU (3 registers inside). It was a big project. We chose Charlie and Comfort Heating and Cooling because Charlie quoted the project AND was part of the installation team, their pricing was competitive, they worked with us on several pricing options, patiently answered our (many) questions, and use quality products. They are a small company but do high quality work. They routed several pipes through difficult attic space, so we would have less piping showing on the outside of our home. They were careful, laying drop cloths down inside and cleaned up after themselves. I was expecting delays with installation on such a big job, but they installed everything within the time frame they quoted (2 days). They consulted with us on placement of indoor and outdoor units, explaining their reasoning if we differed in opinions. At every turn, we have been impressed (and I'm rather detail oriented). It was a lot of money (all the quotes were a lot! Comfort came in just on the lower side of the 5 quotes we got), but we are so happy with the end product and highly recommend them.
