Steve was quick to remedy the problem. He also did an inspection and cleaning to make sure performance of the furnace was maximized. The company also scheduled the appointment for first time the next morning. The office is knowledgeable and responsive.

Austin came out and serviced our very old oil furnace which has been experiencing some issues. He walked me through the condition of the furnace and clearly noted what was causing the problems. I expected that we might need to replace the furnace due to its age, potentially with a heat pump. Rather than trying to convince me of the replacement need he explained that there were several other options that would greatly extend the life of our existing furnace and potentially adding a mini split to heat our converted attic would be a focused solution to the shortcomings of our current system. I plan to return to Deluxe for a service plan and appreciate the professional work.

The previous homeowner used Deluxe and I have had no reason to change. They’ve handled HVAC install, oil tank install, and periodic servicing. All excellent.

I have a vintage oil furnace that has served the home for many decades but was becoming troublesome. Deluxe has been on board servicing periodically, but some aged components started to act up. The depth of experience the service manager has with oil systems brought a level of confidence in the reliability & serviceability of the old unit that helped me update several components that will help with the reliability required. I have been and remain very satisfied with the results and would definitely recommend Deluxe for anyone who still enjoys the supreme comfort of an oil furnace and wants to keep it.

Deluxe Heating and Cooling did an outstanding job with our old oil furnace. Other companies either don’t work on oil heating or push for a conversion. Austin came out, and we were able to upgrade to a new oil burner at a reasonable price. It’s nice to have techs like Austin and companies like Deluxe around for our oil needs.

TL;DR: multiple issues and poor communication but issues eventually resolved

I originally contacted PDC Heating & Cooling to fix a zoning issue back in November 2022. They were busy and it took a while before I could get someone to actually address the issue. After inspecting the system we agreed to replace the furnace. It’s true the original furnace was old and probably didn’t have a ton of life left. However, it was frustrating that it took several visits before they fixed the real issue, which was airflow/zone control.

Over time, it was revealed that there were additional issues with the original installation. The good news is that they were eventually resolved. The bad news is that it took a long time to get there. Numerous messages went unacknowledged and unanswered. However, in the end they agreed to have another technician review the system and reimburse for the added expense.

Mistakes happen. They were eventually resolved. I just wish it hadn’t taken so long.

Pdx Heating and Cooling did a fantastic job of installing a new Lenox gas heater in just 2 days, start to finish. Kurt was kind, understanding, efficient, and great to work with and I highly recommend this business!

Furnace went out and I called Kurt and he had a new one installed within 48 hours! Not only did he beat the competitions pricing, he included as extra for COVID protection: Merv 11 filters and UV lighting!! He also included a 1 year LABOR warranty which is not typical. He went above and beyond and I would highly recommend his service.

Kurt and His team, Wes and Helper Eric, Did an amazing job installing a new Furnace. Kurt came to do a service call on our old unit and we found many issues with it. He quoted me a price for a new unit and thermostat and was willing to install the next day. They installed the unit in around 2.5 hours and did an amazing job. The unit looks fantastic and is running Great. If you need some Hvac work I would call them right away.

I've worked with Kurt and his team at PDX Heating and Cooling three times now. During the inspection process of our new home Kurt came out the first time to inspect the heating and cooling systems in the home. Each 25+ years old. The news wasn't good but Kurt was honest, upfront about the cost and brand options. After the purchase was finalized we had the furnace replaced before we moved in, even in the busy season Kurt made sure that the home was heated before we moved in and suggested we do the A/C unit just before the summer hits. When I say temps hitting close to 70 I called him and within 2 days had my new unit installed and working. I've got future plans to run heating and cooling to one of my out buildings and will definitely be calling on Kurt and his team again. Highly recommend!

Kurt and his team have been a life-saver twice now. Our AC went out in 2021 during the heatwave and he was super-responsive and got us set up with a new AC very quickly. He was able to help arrange financing for the unexpected expense. Our 15 year old heater just went down. He arrived the next day and made efforts to repair it over two days, and when it was found to be dead he was able to get a new furnace installed quickly. He is fair in pricing and very conscientious. I highly recommend his business.

Outstanding experience with these guys! They were at my home on time, ready for action, and figured out the problem quickly. My mini-split problem had a couple possible solutions, Kurt helped me decide on the right way to go - which also was the lower cost option. The problem was solved in under 2 hours! Really great experience, will definitely use them again as the need arises.

I can't say enough about this team! We needed to get Central Air installed quickly for my Mom who lives in the duplex next to me. She is 83 with health issues and due to other repairs and upgrades we were behind with the AC Even though I started getting quotes two weeks ahead of time all of a sudden my timeline was cut short as a heatwave was expected May 13th and we were at May 8th! We had to get the AC in and quickly. I called PDX heating and cooling, who had already given a quote, and explained the situation. They not only said they could get it in they scheduled an emergency install at no extra cost and came the very next day! To make it even more complex for them my mom insisted they come after 12PM and they accommodated! Once they got here they could not have been nicer and did a great job on installation! Wonderful folks and great company! The AC is still working great now that it's been about 10 days.

Had a great experience with this company replacing an old furnace. They gave us a fair price on a great unit and prioritized the installation because the old furnace had failed leaving us no heat during a week of sub freezing temps. They had the old furnace out and the new furnace installed in less than 24 hours. SO much appreciated! Kurts communication was fantastic as well, which as many of us have discovered, isn't a given in the contractor industry. Highly recommend PDX Heating and Cooling.

They came same-day to provide an estimate in the middle of summer when our AC broke, quoted us 25% less for a higher quality AC unit than the larger companies in town, and did all the installation within a week, without issue, for the quoted price.
