These guys were great from the get go, our furnace was ready to be replaced and Portland heating did a great job. They communicated with us really well, answered all of our questions and was very reasonably priced. They showed up on time didn't leave a mess and did the replacement fairly quickly. I would recommend them highly.

I had a great experience with Portland Heating and Cooling. From the time I first called and spoke with John until the time I was shaking hands and saying goodbye they were fantastic. John and Max arrived on time and had the new unit in and the old one out in less than an hour. It was a new PTAC unit with a wireless thermostat and it's working great. John was wonderful. Although they were inundated with calls the morning I called, he made time for me. Jordan, the technician, was able to diagnose the problem with my AC and replace a little part which had worn out that same day. I highly recommend working with Portland Heating and AC. They stand behind their products, are friendly, pleasant, and can resolve any issues quickly.

We called Portland Heating and Air Conditioning to get a bid. John got us on his schedule almost immediately. He came out and looked at our project and gave us a few proposals. He explained them to us thoroughly and we came to an agreement on one. John was delightful to work with and they got our new system up and running in no time. I would highly recommend this company. As a new homeowner, I totally spaced on cleaning my ducts for the first three years I owned my house. Who knew, right? Well, Nathan did, and he helped me get everything in order. Working with him was easy an he didn't waste any time (or my money!). He ended up also noticing my furnace hadn't been running right and fixed it. Now my house is warm and my ducts are clean ... what a world! Highly recommended.

Nathan is very easy to work with. He showed up on time, gave a very reasonable bid, and works quickly. He picked out a new gas furnace for our home, and got the heat back on! In the end the cost of the job was a bit less then he originally quoted. Strongly recommended!

Nathan of Habitat Heating is able to repair units that other heating contractors cannot. He does excellent work, really knows his stuff and how to troubleshoot issues and get the max life out of a system. I am a property manager and use Habitat Heating on apartment complexes and houses, for both maintenance/repair of gas furnaces, as well as new installs, and gas fireplace insert install.

I worked with Trane (commercial account) for over 2.5 years and the tech's have been wonderful. They were always responsive and knowledgable.
However, the rep that we got (Jay Duhl), was very hard/almost impossible to work with. He was very unresponsive or he would drag things along.

Mike, the owner, was amazing. I asked for a quote in the morning, he called me by the afternoon, and was able to fit me in that same day.

His crew worked extremely fast and efficiently. I was thoroughly impressed. And when they wrapped up, he made sure everything was put back exactly the way they found it. Extremely professional.

Mike is also an honest businessman and doesn’t nickel and dime. He gave me a quote on the phone, showed up, did the work, and I paid him. Simple as that, no hassle, no having to say “no” to a bunch of services I didn’t ask for. Just a straightforward transaction.

If you need duct cleaning, these are the people you want, 10/10.
