I didn’t end up moving forward with the project, but I had a great experience with the estimate. They came by in a timely manner, provided great insight into the work I needed done, and gave me a reasonable estimate for it.

Bluefrog was so great to work with! I had to get a toilet moved for a house project and after reaching out to them on Thumbtack for a project bid, they called me just a few minutes after to chat. They got multiple appointments scheduled quickly (exactly when I needed). My plumber, Ian, was really nice, taking time to explain the ins and outs of the work while he was here. He even reconnected the water line to my fridge after it was left disconnected post-house project by another company’s contractors. Price-wise, the cost was a fraction lower than other bids I received on Thumbtack, but the customer service is what sets Bluefrog apart. I highly recommend them!

Bluefrog provides exxellent service - from making the appt, providing regular updates, showing up on time, providing a reasonable estimate, and completing the project on time with no surprises.

Bluefrog responded quickly to my request for a quote on replacing irrigation backflow controller. Their bid was the best of what I got for this repair. They were able to give me a quick schedule, showed up on time and left a clean work site when finished.

My entire experience from dispatch with Lorreign yesterday to service today with Ian was outstanding. They both were kind, friendly and knowledgeable. bluefrog Plumbing & Drain of Portland was very responsive to my service request. A Fri. request was answered with a Monday morning appointment. Eric, the tech, was pleasant, friendly, and competent. He was somewhat frustrated when the first new unit was faulty. This required another trip to the supplier for another unit. This went in easily and worked fine, so all ended well. Am glad to support a women-owned company. Will recommend them to others.

Daniel and Shae helped me with my sewage ejector pump which has been as fun as it sounds. My home is older and I've had issues with it. I've gotten a lot of varying responses from plumbers over the years dealing with it. I've had companies who told me they'd charge large fees just to open it to diagnose the problem. In this case, I was lucky and it was a simple fix. They gave me two estimates (one for the simple fix) and one for the "you need to replace this entire thing." The replacement estimate was in-line with others I had been given (minus the large fee for just diagnosing the problem in some cases) and the other (if something was blocking the flow) was a sensible quote. Both quotes were also in-line with what I expected the problem to be. They were done in what seemed to be 30 minutes and left the area clean. They told me if it ever needed to be replaced, they'd use much nicer parts than what I currently had for a price that was comparable to other companies. When I asked if there was a difference, since I had wondered especially about how float qualities could differ, Shae gave me a knowledgeable answer. Their expertise, emphasis on quality, longevity of working parts, and this company's fair pricing was appreciated.
