Ian arrived on time to evaluate my non-functioning tankless water heater. He was very knowledgeable and respectful and gave excellent advice. Since my tankless heater was very old, it was decided to replace it. The price was very fair and he replaced it within a few hours. I was extremely pleased with the service I received and would recommend this company to anyone requiring plumbing services

I recently had Bluefrog replace my electric water heater, and what started as a routine installation turned into a complicated situation when we discovered my condo’s radiant floor heating system required a different electrical configuration than expected.

From the very beginning the experience was smooth and reassuring. Morgan handled scheduling and communication beautifully, including reminder texts with a photo of the technician so I knew exactly who to expect. That attention to detail set the tone for the whole interaction and reflects the care this woman-owned business puts into its work.

Shae, the technician leading the job, handled the unexpected complication exceptionally well. Instead of rushing forward or guessing, he paused the installation and worked to make sure the system would be installed correctly and according to manufacturer specifications. He coordinated with Bradford White technical support and brought in an electrician the next day so everyone could hear the same information and agree on the proper solution.

What impressed me most was Shae’s ability to calmly manage multiple competing interests — the manufacturer’s requirements, electrical code, the company owner’s perspective, and my concerns as the homeowner — and build consensus around the right solution. That kind of professionalism is rare and incredibly valuable.

When it became clear that an electrical upgrade was needed, Bluefrog even shared part of that cost, which I felt was a very fair and thoughtful approach.

Shae is clearly someone who takes pride in doing things the right way, not just the fastest way. From the office coordination to the technical work in the field, the entire Bluefrog team delivered a thoughtful and professional experience. I’m very grateful for the care they brought to the job and would absolutely recommend Bluefrog to others for plumbing work in Portland.

We used Jared for our bathroom remodel, moving the toilet vent and converting a single sink vanity to two sinks. He also fixed our shower drain in five minutes. Top knotch work, and very reasonable. And friendly, plus came within the window he said he would. Absolutely five stars. We will definitely use him again when we change out the shower valve, and anything else that comes up.

I had a late night plumbing emergency on a Sunday night. There was a lot of water actively running out of my shower valve so I was desperate to get someone out ASAP. I called every plumber/plumbing company in the Portland metro area that claimed to provide 24 hour service. Most places didn’t even pick up the phone or return a call left with their answering service.

One company called me Monday morning, but they could only give a window of time when someone could come … 12 noon to 4.

I left Jared a message Sunday night and while he didn’t get back to me right away, he did call first thing Monday morning. He was an absolute star. He moved his jobs around so he could come to my house first. He showed up when he said he would and was able to fix the issue pretty quickly. It was a huge relief and I’m so glad I found Jared! His prices were reasonable especially considering this was an emergency.

Jam Plumbing came out, was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Fixed our problem quickly and was on his way. Jam Plumbing definitely is one of the best companies around to do business with.

He made a appointment with us to meet at noon since he needed access to the home we made arrangements with our real estate agent to meet us to let us in since we are currently closing on this home, he said noon would work noon comes around and I sent him a text message no answer so I had to call him and he said I’ll be there at one. Very unprofessional, please pay attention to the reviews, I originally saw a previous review that he did something similar and I just wanted to give a local company a benefit of the doubt,don’t waste your time with this company.

I called JAM plumbing and they asked what I am calling about. I told them my kitchen drain is clogged and I need to have it cleared. The person I talked to said "Unfortunately the person you called is not available. Have a nice day," and the person hung up immediately.
