These guys are fabulous. They are fast, thorough, honest, and fair priced. I've used them 3 times and have always been a satisfied customer. Additionally, they showed our family tremendous kindness that I will always be grateful for. We will continue to use them in the future and recommend them to anyway with heating and cooling needs!

When we moved into our home in 2015, Affordable's sticker was on the heat pump. I've never called anyone else and have never needed to. Thanks to Mike and the guys for same-day service at a more than decent price.

All I needed was help changing my air filter. Mike quickly dispatched Tyson out to assist. With strong knowledge, Tyson answered my questions about future service to my furnace. All around, very friendly service.

Heating vents weren't working. Called 6 different companies (lmsg or couldn't come out). Mike Oliver said would send someone out same day. Tony got vents working, but discovered we needed to replace our ducts. Got a great price & work was done the next week by Tony & Daniel. Great guys... professional, friendly, fast work and knowledgeable. Mike Oliver was always available to answer my questions. I highly recommend. Thank you!

This company was extremely helpful, responsive, quick and efficient. I felt like they went out of their way to make sure my furnace (which conked out in the frigid winter temps) was fixed next day, they even came and diagnosed, then went and got the parts in between driving to another call, and came back and installed the parts and got it working before nightfall! Timothy and Mike were wonderful, would use again!

I'll never do business with them again. Mike the owner lied about $800 in manufacture rebates, before beginning an install. Said they were not available after I paid him $12,000 to install an HVAC unit. Lied to me about being able to use a credit card, 2 days after the job started demanded payment in cash or check said he couldn't afford to take a credit card because he had to pay to use one, charged me $450 to use a credit card so I lost over $1,250 doing business with Mike compared to original quote. He let his crew take a week vacation 2 days after starting an install. His crew is great it's only the owner Mike that is a liar and a thief. He charges $130 for maintenance calls you can get them else where for $79 don't waste your money here. Mike always wants to fight and argue he is one of the meanest most horrible people I have ever spoken to!

I felt there was some confusion over the phone initially. The person I spoke to seemed thrown off by questions of approximate time some one would show up. I left both phone calls unsure of what to expect. However, when the service technician showed up they came to my door with tools and ready to work. They were very professional and responsive to my questions. They showed up for a same day service others were telling me would take weeks to get to. They left my home with a working AC during the first heat wave of the season. Overall I am very satisfied and will be a return customer for future maintenance and installation when necessary.

I almost never write a review, but I was so impressed with this company that I had to. My furnace stopped working on a very cold night, so the next morning I got on the web hoping to find a company that would send someone out that day. Luckily, the first company I tried was Affordable -- and a few hours later, their technician arrived.Tim was great -- very friendly and professional. Not only did he find and fix the problem very quickly, but he also did an excellent job in reconnecting some of the older duct work that had gotten loose. Very fair price and great service. A quality company. I will definitely use them again.

Couldn’t be happier with the service and the price. With a heatwave coming in a few days we were hoping just to get someone out here in time to fix our A/C before it started. They were here within 3 hours of my call, did a very thorough job and live up to their name in being truly affordable. I can’t recommend them strongly enough.

Can’t recommend enough! Our heat had stopped working, they came out and Jacob and Daniel fixed everything and even helped me set up a new thermostat that I had in a box. Professional, courteous, and efficient.

Everyone at A Affordable is outstanding - from the owner to his team. The owner personally helped me with a very old furnace is my newly purchased home and this year quickly installed a new furnace at a very reasonable price. Will be seeing them again in the spring to replace the very old AC unit. Thank you, A Affordable!

Always happy to deal with this company! Mike does everything he can to make sure you have a positive experience and Jacob and the others are very efficient at the repair or install. Much lower cost than other companies.

Just had my furnace system and heat pump changed from electric to gas. After contacting about 6 contractors, Affordable was next in line so I contacted Mike. He did not try to sell me the most expensive system, he was like the Liberty Mutual commercial, "only pay for what you need". Then when the crew showed up they were very professional and courteous. Very happy with the job Rick, Brian and Tim had done. Mike is also certified through the Energy Star program. Had my furnace tuned up again, this was after six years of tune-up's. Jacob showed for the tune-up, on time, friendly, creditable and professional. Price was reasonable, again I recommend Affordable for the second time.

Excellent service always on time and friendly kind staff. I have been using this agency for years and always appreciate the attention to detail they have. They are quick to assist in emergencies too like when my heater went out in a ice storm a few years back. Prices are very reasonable and the technicians are highly skilled!

My family have used both Advantage Heating and Affordable Heating. Just had our furnace and air conditioner serviced by Affordable! With a new filter only $149!!! Advantage quoted me $338!!!! FYI people use Affordable!! Great guys and great service!! We will continue to use them in the future!! 😁

I love Affordable heating/cooling. Every time I have needed them it’s usually an emergency due to excessive heat and air conditioning it working or my furnace going out. They always try to make it a same-day appointment, which I am so grateful for your always courteous, polite and honest. Honesty in today’s world, especially with elderly, should say some thing for itself. I’ve known of many places that have taken advantage of the elderly, especially women. With that said, I will continue to use their services. Thank you affordable we’re getting my air conditioner up and running in this heat!!

They installed a Lennox gas furnace in Mar 24 at my rental on Pringle RD, Salem ,OR. This was done during some very inclement weather ,snow ,heavy rain fall ,and cold weather ,and under a very tight and wet crawl space. My tenants had been without heat for over a month. Two other local outfits said I had to wait until summer for drier weather. Mike with Affordable went out promptly and said that it could be done ASAP.A few days later a new furnace was installed .Their installed are the best of the best ,and had a new gas furnace done in 5 hours under a very tight crawl with residual amounts of water ,about 5 inches.My sump pump had quit due to age,and freezing temps.I am pleased with the work done, thanks Mike ,and his superb installers.Zap electric did a great job to put in a new 15 amp dedicated circuit for the furnace,thanks Vinny at Zap.

Affordable Heating and Air Conditioning did a wonderful job replacing my old furnace and hot water heater. Mike (owner) was super easy to communicate with. They were recommended to me by my real estate agent. Their estimate was clearly better than anyone else I checked into. They were able to do the work quickly and the crew was very polite and extremely professional.

This company was referred to me by my wife's boss. They did an exceptional job and communicated with me at every moment. I received a quote. I called Mike, the owner, after 5 pm. He answered right away and told me that he would call me back in 5 minutes (he had to walk inside his house and open his schedule). They offered the soonest appointment, which was only 5 days away (I needed to replace all my equipment). By the way, I had a sense that Michael arranged everything from home, which made it very personal.
His team arrived as scheduled and replaced all my units without any issues. They were very respectful while on my property. Additionally, I had to pick up my kids from school, so they were left at the house working on the furnace. They called while I was away and told me that they were done and had closed my garage door (which I was not expecting; I would have been okay if they had left the door open). This speaks volumes about their professionalism and respect for the owner's property.

I called Michael around 6 pm because I had a question, and again, he answered on his cell, which surprised me once more. I will continue to use their business. Thanks to Michael, his son, and the crew for an amazing job.

Wonderful family owned company! My AC went out and I called Affordable Heating and they had a guy come out right away. He filled my AC unit up with refrigerate because there seemed to be a leak somewhere? Considering the unit was 18 years old, I asked him if he could provide me an estimate on replacing my AC unit and furnace due to them being 23 and 18 years old it’s about that time! I have received other bids but they were outrageous! Affordable heating came in at a fair price! A week later they came out on time and had everything installed and running by 2pm! Thank goodness, because it’s 90 degrees outside! They worked efficiently and answered all my questions! I highly recommend Affordable Heating!!
