DO NOT use this company. Had a system put in have had nothing but trouble with it since installed no heat or ac since January of this year keeps saying they are coming out or going to buy parts and then never show. Now have blocked my phone for calls and texts. What a joke

Jansen was very responsive and really good at helping us after the ice storm destroyed our heat pump. He helped with the insurance and gave us a great price to replace the unit. The installation looks good and the new system is working great. Jansen and crew are very nice to work with and deliver good quality. I will use Synergy again.

I recently had an amazing experience with Synergy Heating and Air in Portland. Their service was top-notch! The technicians were super professional and knowledgeable. They arrived on time, assessed the issue quickly, and fixed it efficiently. I was impressed by their attention to detail and the quality of their work. Plus, their customer service was exceptional. They were friendly, patient, and took the time to answer all my questions. I highly recommend Synergy Heating and Air for all of your heating and cooling needs!

This place is a joke, avoid at all costs for new systems. I paid for an entirely new system, heater and AC, deposit was made 3/27, said 2 days for equipment to show up and 2 days for install. No show after no show they finally installed the units on 4/9. Fast forward heater works but AC doesn’t work or turn on. Contacted them, promised to come out, again they continue to no show, again and again they make excuses but don’t do their jobs.

Please do yourself a favor and do not use this company for new installations unless you want your system not to work and then have to find someone else to clean up the mess.

The worst experience ever. 8 months ago we started the process of replacing the furnace and a/c and it has been an absolute nightmare ever since. My elderly mom was forced to spend days without heat in January because of their incompetence. And then it’s been lies upon lies, mistake after mistake. Really stupid mistakes, too (they installed pipes covering the door to the filter so we couldn’t replace the filter, thermostat was installed incorrectly, and many many more). It was a never ending process of them doing something wrong and then having to be called back out to fix their mistakes, but they often don’t show up, so it took forever.
It is now July and there was no other choice but to hire another company to finish the job Synergy started and fix the remaining issues. Our warranty with Synergy is useless since they apparently can’t fix things properly, even if you could get someone to show up.
Go somewhere else. It isn’t worth the headache. Synergy is basically a scam company.

Totally incompetent. Jansen talks a good game and strung us along for months as we tried to get them to make our very expensive Mitsubishi equipment work as advertised. It turns out his installers are either older techs not trained to install new high efficiency systems, or young with little or no training. They would often not show up for appointments and we eventually had to hire another company to properly commission our system. They found many things wrong, but the worst was that there was 40 percent less refrigerant than required. It’s a tribute to the Mitsubishi equipment that it worked at all, but it was using way too much electricity.

I relied on the many early positive reviews here to help me choose this company. I now suspect they are fake, it’s hard to be they could have fallen off so badly so quickly. DO NOT USE THEM!

The owner Fredy was very respectful and friendly. He fixed the problem and gave us advice for future maintenance, too!
His fee was very reasonable(I called 9 different companies around Tualatin area). He is definitely my guy from now on for any future service needed. Very satisfied!!!

Freddy from North Air did a great job of fixing my 25 year old AC unit. He is friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to explain and offer more than one repair option. I would highly recommend Freddy and North Air.

Our air conditioner went out on Sunday and it was going to be 100 degrees! I called Freddy and he answered right away and said he would call me as soon as he was done with a job he was on his way too. He called within a few hours, came right over, replaced a component and had our air on in no time.
Freddy is reliable, professional, and personable. Great experience all around.

Fredy was generous enough to help troubleshoot the issue prior to deploying to our home. Once he arrived he quickly fixed the issue. We will certainly be using North Air again!

Fredy and his assistant went well beyond my expectations with their professionalism and service. He explained thoroughly, all he needed to do and made sure I understood it . He was on time, very clean, courteous and on a rush, when our furnace broke ...just before New Yrs. he stayed extra late to be sure we had heat. His prices are very competitive, He was highly recommended to me from a client who is a contractor. He proved himself to be honest and trustworthy and reliable. I would refer him to anyone of my clients, family and friends. Im a business owner, and Realtor and would never refer anyone to anybody, UNLESS my own hard earned reputation can back it up. I 100% recommend North Air and Refrigeration, llc. He's coming back this summer to replace our AC unit.

Wow, Fredy does amazing work. He is so detailed with each step. He installed a new high efficiency furnace and AC unit for me and I couldn’t be happier. He walked me through everything he was doing throughout the process including taking pictures and sending them to me throughout the day. He threw in so many add-ins that he didn’t charge for and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and have everything I need - down to attaching the user manual to the side of the furnace and taking pictures of the part numbers to make it easier to register for the Lennox warranty. He is an expert at his craft and I’m delighted to give him a 5 star review.

When my A/C blower motor died 2 days ago, I requested quotes from several local businesses. Fredy was the first to get back to me, and I could not be happier I used North Air. He was very upfront about what the costs and possible complications might be so there would be no surprises. He was also very communicative, letting me know as parts came in and the schedule changed. All in all, he delivered EXACTLY what he said he would when he said he would and I couldn't ask for better than that.

Fredy Garcia from North Air Heating got our ductwork project completed in a record 2 days. Aside from his excellent technical expertise Fredy clearly explained the sequence of steps for the repair and clarified any questions we had. Very much recommended!! He was great!

Fredy anda Carlos installed as new tankless water heater for me. His price was fair, his work was great. Best of all was his customer service! Super responsive and helpful, really spent the time to make sure I was making the right decisions and that I was happy with the results. I'll use them again for sure!

Fredy did an AAAAMAZING job! We just bought a 1962 bungalow and it has no air conditioning so Fredy came over took a look and since our furnace had been there over 30+ years he suggested to replace it as well as adding the A/C. Not sure how long the old furnace was going to last and it would be a lot more efficient. He explained the process and got to work. Within 2 days we had a new furnace and new a/c and it went from 87 degrees in our home to 71 in less than 35 minutes! We actually had to turn the thermostat up to 73 it was too cool! Looking forward to going home again now that we are all hooked up with the right heating and cooling system! I highly recommend North Air heating and refrigeration Fredy knows his stuff and he is the most knowledgeable when it comes to anything having to do with heating and cooling. Friendly and very easy to talk to and explains the process and answers your questions.

Fredy gave guidance over the phone for a simple heating fix that shut down my furnace during 20 degree temperature. I am immensely grateful as my home has now warmed back up. Fredy will be my first call from now on for any heating or AC issues in my home.

I hired North Air Heating and Refrigeration to help fix an improperly installed telescoping downdraft. I needed their expertise to help create and install some custom ducting. Fredy and his team arrived on time, finished quicker than I'd thought they would, were respectful of the property and cleaned up before leaving. I'll be keeping their number handy for future projects.

Sky Heating + and Roth Heating + (they do everything) were both businesses I had bad experiences with. I hired Sky to fix my toilets and they tried selling me a new water heater. For a new central AC quote, Roth suggested my walls had to be ripped open to replace the incompatible pipes (with today's unit). Unless, of course, I chose to go with one of their most efficient (expensive) systems. Not to mention a "if you buy right now" discount (from a 100% commissioned sales person, mind you).

Fredy with North Air was the complete opposite. He comes across as a genuine person who will suggest what he thinks is a good fit. Even though I made it obvious that Roth made a bad impression, he didn't say one bad thing about them. He didn't ask how many quotes I had or how much they were for. And his quote was almost 1/3 of Roth.

Once work started, there was a problem he couldn't possibly have seen during the quote because it was hidden behind insulation - it wasn't going to be a straightforward installation. So there were a handful of extra hours for fabrication involved that he didn't try charging me for.

The install itself is excellent! Parts of it looked slapped together when the house was built and he fixed all of that. The garage was left cleaner than it was before he got here. He removed roots in the back to make sure the AC unit sat correctly (he replaced the furnace in the garage, too).

Fredy bids his own jobs, does his own installs, doesn't have any sales people to pay, no office staff to pay, and somebody whose work is attached to their name, in my experience, does the best work. I've dealt with a lot of contractors and businesses lately and the general experience has been poor. Fredy is a very welcome exception and I encourage you to give him a shot - I wish I could hire him for everything!

Fredy conducted a thorough analysis of my existing HVAC system and recommended the best replacement furnace/heat pump combination. At a lower price, he provided better features than 2 other bids. The installation was done on time with no issues. I would strongly recommend North Air Heating and Refrigeration to others.

Furnace stopped working over night. I called North Air Heating & Refrigeration . Freddy tried to trouble shooting over the phone; then came over and figured out the issue and fixed it in less than an hour. Great customer service and very reasonable price.
